He was 11/12 somewhere in there I believe. If I recall he's about 17 now but I could be wrong on that. I'll ask him later. I also recommend joining Hyun's Dojo (www.hyunsdojo.com) where you will find many different animators with varying styles.

I love how one of the big reasons umbrella won, was because when flyffl had the chance to end the fight, he didn't go for it (in the air where he stabbed his flight pack) because flyffl often tries not to kill his opponents unless he has too

Probably one of the greatest RHG battles I've ever seen. It felt "story-like", had great music that synced perfectly with the duel, and the background and rainy atmosphere that made it feel like a serious, yet sorrowful battle. If you watched these character's past fights, and learned their stories, this match will definitely have you out of your seat. Great job Resh. Even if you did win by default, it would've been hard for Terkoiz to make something as unique and awesome as this. At least, that's how I feel. :]
Dang, Coming back here 9 years later, still one of the best animations I've ever seen. I remember watching this when I in elementary, now I'm in HS. Sad that the series stopped a little short, but education's more important. Good luck in your career, Resh!

I remember anticipating this video to come out when I saw the chat between Resh and Terkoiz on Dojo. I also remember how joyous and excited I was on the day of publishing. Time really flies, but this battle is still as epic as I remembered it. This must be one of the most beautiful legacies of RHG...

I never really liked Umbrella's character from his earlier battles however, but that all changed after this one, all because of the atmosphere. Both fighters had severe handicaps (Umbrella was becoming "unstable" due to overexposure to radiation and Alfa was old and injured), giving the fight a brilliant feeling of desperation, as if both fighters knew this would be their final battle (since Umbrella is about to be terminated by Commander Red). Combine that with awesome music, effects, fighting skills and that epic throwback to Alfa vs Thunder and you have the most mind-blowing fight ever. Terkoiz was always my favourite animator and everything he does seems to be more brilliant than the last, but I still doubt he'll be able to top this. Simply amazing.

As predictable as it was that FLLFFL was going to die at the end, it still was a very emotional moment when he did. Usually I wouldn't use the word emotion when describing a stickman's death, but this animation was just so well done that the word actually applies to it. Bravo, Resh, bravo
Remember when u asked to see how well I can draw those dragons I had in mind? Well I am in process of draw them and so far it has taken me an hour to figure out the structure of each character. Their structure is similar to a ponies except the snouts are slightly bigger, the necks are longer, and their eyes are smaller yet piercing, giving them their own sort of elegance.
Umbrella is truely a legend, I admit right here, and right now. But there is something we must consider in a very profound way. While Umbrella has protected himself from countless armed men, and the likes of Franky, Nemesis, and even FLLFFL, One deep, powerful, and mysterious question remains in the heart of this successful soldier. Deserves it 1.4 M views -deserves way more, but sadly society hasn't caught up to the style of stick fights- Resh's animations were my childhood, with Dark vs Ice and Franky vs Umbrella, so when I saw this animation, it put a smile on my face. Theres alot of RHG characters who died and proceed to the next fight. Nobody gave a shit when alfa died in Mr pix and alfa's fight?Maybe its just the song here that alfa died.
It was a good fight i'll admit that. The battle was the fight between the two superpowers of the rhg series and it was wonderful. BUT even after seeing that i still see fllffl as the best warrior of the rhg series. Why you may ask, well i see it as the facts that fllffl had and extreme handicap, as in the time period of this battle taking place fllffl is sadly at his weakest. Injured, having his favoured arm taken via his battle with pulse, and his clearly shown old age, he is at his downright weakest we will ever see him. Where as Umbrella is at his strongest with his recently obtained upgrades and his new ability to fly easily. There's also the fact that dispite the literal handicap fllffl has he STILL nearly killed umbrella. All im saying is to me fllffl in his prime would of won that fight easily. Like if you agree with this

You speak the truth. Alfa had such a huge handicap throughout this fight and still held his own, even managing to impale Umbrella before he died. No doubt he is the most skilled of the two fighters.
I was fourteen when this first came out... Coming back to it now that I'm 22 and just enjoying the nostalgia is extremely refreshing... Thank you again for your contribution to the Rhg Community resh, I look forward to seeing more animations by you .
I hope Resh will make a remake with this, I wanna reccomend him using the E-Guitar Cover of the song he used. My opinion on this animation; One of the best and amazing animations I have ever seen even if it's just stickmen fighting. The graphics, the ambience, and the effects of each second of the animation was flawless. I wanna thank Resh for making this animation.
Man Nostagia Brought me Back and man this has not aged a day... This will always be One of the Greatest Fights at RHG's Old and Final Era the highlight (at the time) of The Old fighting The New (at the time)
It's been 3 years and I still get a solid 10 minutes of goose bumps every time I watch this animation (despite minor errors you can find by watching frame-by-frame). Emotion is communicated very clearly throughout the series.
I watch this one every once in a while. It is truly beautiful and a great ending for FLLFFL. Tired, old, hurt from his previous fights, finally meeting his match. I wonder what would have happened if these two met in FLLFFL's prime.
Okay, this is my opinion about this. This is by far my favorite stick battle/RHG. Both sides had handicaps and were going to die no matter the outcome. FLLFFL was old, and only had one arm. Umbrella was going to die due to radiation exposure. the music and rain emphasized this depressing battle, followed up by the facial expressions. Then, few RHG battles have such a detailed background, but this one has. The characters both are so detailed, their body length is pitch perfect, and the few moments of pause, such as the "How are you holding up" just were perfectly placed, and timed. I simply cannot say anything about this being better. And the intro was simply sick.
I watched this when I was a tennager, I've been looking for this animation for a while and I finally managed to find it, and it's definitely as epic as I remembered Outstanding quality
SadisticSasquatch Alfa was the only one that died because you only saw his sword drop and Resh's umbrella didn't drop so which means he survived his own pipes.
I really don't know how I feel about this video. During my youth I grew up on StickPage playing "Stick War" and "Rock Hard Colliseum". RHC introduced me to FLLFFL, Fox & Q, (all the legends). I looked up videos of stick fights including these legends. I then realized how strong FLLFFL actually was, and from there on I always rooted for him. He was my 2nd favorite. Then a different video showed up, called "Minecraft Stickman Showdown". As soon as I saw this, I fell in love with Resh as soon as I saw it. Then later, Resh made his own stickman, "Umbrella". I loved the story behind him, his skills, equipment and became my 2nd favorite overwriting FLLFFL. But FLLFFL still had a special place in my heart as of his fame. So I'm both happy and sad right now. Happy for my new favorite winning and sad about my old hero dying. (But all in all, my number 1 is Fordz)(don't know him? He was in Umbrella vs NEMISIS if he sounds familiar.) Entire comment in a nutshell: Good video!
Hey dude i did the same thing. grew up plaing stick war and RHC and stuff like that, good times. i don't remember much from it though i also kinda forgot alfa after a few years. then i saw this video again. and after that everything came back ;-;
He could have won, but he was holding back, notice the part in the air? Alfa could have stabbed him but he didn't. he vowed that he was done killing. And was looking to disable him, not kill. With his one hand, old age, facing an opponent with far superior technology and weaponry, ALFA could have won if wasnt holding back.
Resh pushing this masterpiece to it's absolute limit and able to hold one of the best animation that's six years old. This animations really bring lots of memory and still hopping for the ending of recollection even if it's got abandon. My childhood was extra awesome with this animations, I won't get into stick fight without this video. Absolutely love it

damn this gives me so many feels, alfa was always so awesome and so beast but now he can finally rest, i grew up loving alfas character he was a respectable fighter and never disappointed but i guess after he lost his arm and got a little older he just couldnt keep up anymore, R.I.P. Alfa my the first fallen god in a dance between heaven and earth, thanks for this awesome animation Resh, animators like you are what inspire me and give me my drive to make more animations

The choreography and camera direction are honestly impressive even after 8 years later. It's insane.
It was a good fight i'll admit that. The battle was the fight between the two superpowers of the rhg series and it was wonderful. BUT even after seeing that i still see fllffl as the best warrior of the rhg series. Why you may ask, well i see it as the facts that fllffl had and extreme handicap, as in the time period of this battle taking place fllffl is sadly at his weakest. Injured, having his favoured arm taken via his battle with pulse, and his clearly shown old age, he is at his downright weakest we will ever see him. Where as Umbrella is at his strongest with his recently obtained upgrades and his new ability to fly easily. There's also the fact that dispite the literal handicap fllffl has he STILL nearly killed umbrella. All im saying is to me fllffl in his prime would of won that fight easily. Like if you agree with this

You speak the truth. Alfa had such a huge handicap throughout this fight and still held his own, even managing to impale Umbrella before he died. No doubt he is the most skilled of the two fighters.

My opinion on this animation;
One of the best and amazing animations I have ever seen even if it's just stickmen fighting. The graphics, the ambience, and the effects of each second of the animation was flawless.

It's been 3 years and I still get a solid 10 minutes of goose bumps every time I watch this animation (despite minor errors you can find by watching frame-by-frame).

I watch this one every once in a while. It is truly beautiful and a great ending for FLLFFL. Tired, old, hurt from his previous fights, finally meeting his match. I wonder what would have happened if these two met in FLLFFL's prime.
If this became a full 1 or 2 hour movie it would make BANK at the box office. All the stickpage fans from back in the day would pull up!
Okay, this is my opinion about this. This is by far my favorite stick battle/RHG. Both sides had handicaps and were going to die no matter the outcome. FLLFFL was old, and only had one arm. Umbrella was going to die due to radiation exposure. the music and rain emphasized this depressing battle, followed up by the facial expressions. Then, few RHG battles have such a detailed background, but this one has. The characters both are so detailed, their body length is pitch perfect, and the few moments of pause, such as the "How are you holding up" just were perfectly placed, and timed. I simply cannot say anything about this being better. And the intro was simply sick.

I was a huge fan of this 5 years ago, and I'm still a huge fan of this now.
I love how an old man with 1 arm and a Katana is able to put up a fight with a guy that has advanced technology.

I really don't know how I feel about this video. During my youth I grew up on StickPage playing "Stick War" and "Rock Hard Colliseum". RHC introduced me to FLLFFL, Fox & Q, (all the legends). I looked up videos of stick fights including these legends. I then realized how strong FLLFFL actually was, and from there on I always rooted for him. He was my 2nd favorite. Then a different video showed up, called "Minecraft Stickman Showdown". As soon as I saw this, I fell in love with Resh as soon as I saw it. Then later, Resh made his own stickman, "Umbrella". I loved the story behind him, his skills, equipment and became my 2nd favorite overwriting FLLFFL. But FLLFFL still had a special place in my heart as of his fame. So I'm both happy and sad right now. Happy for my new favorite winning and sad about my old hero dying. (But all in all, my number 1 is Fordz)(don't know him? He was in Umbrella vs NEMISIS if he sounds familiar.) Entire comment in a nutshell: Good video!
Hey dude i did the same thing. grew up plaing stick war and RHC and stuff like that, good times. i don't remember much from it though i also kinda forgot alfa after a few years. then i saw this video again. and after that everything came back ;-;
He could have won, but he was holding back, notice the part in the air? Alfa could have stabbed him but he didn't. he vowed that he was done killing. And was looking to disable him, not kill. With his one hand, old age, facing an opponent with far superior technology and weaponry, ALFA could have won if wasnt holding back.

Resh pushing this masterpiece to it's absolute limit and able to hold one of the best animation that's six years old. This animations really bring lots of memory and still hopping for the ending of recollection even if it's got abandon. My childhood was extra awesome with this animations, I won't get into stick fight without this video. Absolutely love it
