inspiring me to build an altar to a goddess i want to draw closer to while I'm starting my healing journey, in an actually serious and committed way. It can be so hard to feel like you can get help from divinity when you feel you have to always be strong and independent in your life all the time, but all anyone has to do is tap in and feel the love and support radiating from what is divine. it could be anything, just gotta look around . on my journey. have to remind myself it's okay to have gaps in time, iall these phases of our lives are important. warm energetic hugs to anyone who reads this. We're all on the same planet so, figure we have a lot more in common than not.

Reminds me of my mom, aunt’s, grandmother’s ,friends moms rituals and puja ‘rooms’, which were usually closets, pantries as well as elaborate areas…being invited and bearing witness to such beautiful and intimate expression from the devotee I sometimes think…wow, perhaps the goddesses and gods are lucky to have us as well ❤️🙏🏾 Ty for sharing, sweet soul ✨

I was raised in the Catholic Church and always had a small altar to Mary with a statue and flowers. Seeing your Mary altar brought that all back to me. The comfort I derived from Mother Mary as a child was immense, and you have inspired me to return to that place of unconditional love and blessings. I have a statue that I bought several years ago in a thrift shop on impulse, wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do with it. Now I know 💖

My matron Deity is Auset/Isis and recently I came across info that ancient black virgins mother Mary statues found in sanctuaries (in France where I live) were likely Isis statues. I visited one a few weeks ago and the emotion was so strong I just sat there bawling my eyes out, I've always felt a connection to Mary but thought that as a witch I couldn't have a Mary altar. Seeing yours made me very happy. Going to be a rebel witch and set a Mary altar in my bedroom. Blessed be.
Using scent as a spiritual tool makes so much sense; scent-based memories are some of the strongest we have. That color-changing Mary light is absolutely glorious, seriously, 👨🍳 💋! Thank you for sharing your sacred spaces with us!

I am beginning to realize I have a special connection to Mary. In the school Christmas play in church when I was like 8 I was happy to play her, it felt so special and beautiful. And I simply asked for a role where I don't have to say a lot lol. And I recently bought a beautiful Mary iconography with a sun and a moon and a nightsky with stars, it is so calm, peaceful, healing Edit: I also made the connection to the Queen of Cups, and I've always loved that card. Mary is very Queen of Cups for me. Sadly, the deck I recently purchased rly butchered the facial expressions of the queens for me, even though I love the rest of the cards
Watching your tour of your mother Mary altar bought tears to my eyes my altar got destroyed in a move I'm having to replace rosaries all the way to rose water I will be so happy when I have it beautiful again 💖

Your video showed me that I might be trying to be too formal with some of my altar spaces. As long as my altars and shrines are pleasing to my spirits and to me, then they are good. One of my traditions dictates that aspects of that shrine be done in a certain way, and it works. However, none of my other spaces have any requirements or restrictions. Thank you for encouraging me to play with things a bit more again.

I can honestly recommend it if you have the room. Psychologically, it makes it more clear cut for me when I want to do devotional work only. And when I DON'T want to do devotional work, I don't necessarily vibe with having goddess/deity stuff on the altar when I'm doing work that doesn't really involve them, if that makes sense.
Always love your altar tours as you have such an interesting vibe and look. I'm also very maximised when it comes to my altar. Stuff everywhere lol. I also use perfume oils in my craft as like you say, it takes you right where you need to be. Love and blessings darling xx

Beautiful spaces. Also vegan but I think it's kinda bad ass to have a sward used to take horses out at the knee in battle as a symbol for Hell. But I am an air sign. My athame is a switch blade (thought you might vibe with that). And I'm looking out for an antique bubble glass picture frame at least 9 inches long to turn into a black mirror. As Hel is your matron goddess, might she be willing to help you communicate with your brother? It might help you with closure so you can be at peace with any circumstances around his transition. Many of us do ancestral work and communicate with them on a regular basis. Technically, as your brother has crossed into the ancestral realm, he is now an ancestor who is just as available to you as any grandparent or great-grandparent. If this idea resonates with you, I hope you will feel the joy and peace your brother surely wishes for you. I lost my beloved big brother (15 years older than me) in a horrific car accident on January 2, 1968; he was 22, I was 7. Because of how my parents dealt with it, it was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. I’m new at this at 63 but ancestral work is a high priority for me. Blessed be! 🎉🥳

I guess you could say that I believe all beings are valid and powerful, they are just from different paradigms. In my belief structure, no paradigm is the TRUE paradigm. They are simply all powerful and useful and worthy of respect. I go where my instinct calls me rather than where I have decided the ultimate truth is hiding, and therefore my practice has become MY ultimate truth. :)
I will be 75 in a little over a week..I was initiated when I was 19 and studied many years before that..and we did not have designated titles of Witches..a Witch was a Witch.. you might personaly specialize in different areas. but you were still just a Witch. Also honoring Christian deities would be unthinkable..You can honor who you wish I guess...But we would never honor those who want us dead..Who would take our children, our jobs.. break up families. But Like I said... we all have choices, I just do not understand the logic of being a Christian Witch. They have a book that says Suffer not a Witch to live..yet there are people who also honor our deities as well as theirs. I think it blows my Mind.
