As for rack railways, I am not very familiar with this type of technology. And, I never said I like or dislike rack railways. If we have this type of rail system in the USA, I am not at all aware of it. And, why some people think it's "strange" not to like rack railways is beyond me. Everybody has their preference. Just for the record, I have nothing against rack railways (except I'm a little scared of height). But, it does look like an interesting rail system though.

In Moscow shitloads of money are being spent every year on purchasing new modern trams, but they are being operated on horrible disgusting tracks which are also maintained so badly we even witness derailments from time to time. I wish our transport authorities at least watched videos like this and saw how things should be done.

This popped up probably because of my US railfanning interests but I enjoyed this quite a lot (I've subscribed). Very, very clean and certainly modern. I cannot imagine trams of this cleanliness here in the US (we have very backwards thinking here in a lot of respects).
