Magnificent! Ethereal, Hopeful, Calming. Thank you. My heart is warmed!
I am an atheist who finds this song especially moving, All humans, whatever their beliefs, yearn for us all to live in peace, for us all to live harmoniously together. A beautiful rendition of a song I have long loved.
We came from some higher power. Something started it all.
@@dickiegreenleaf750 I understand that is your belief. Others believe differently.
@@dianewolfthal704 I pray for you. Best of luck!
It takes a LOT to put a tear in my eye, especially from a song. Michael McDonald's "On My Own" brings just a couple if catch on the radio, as way my late moms song after a 38 yr marriage/div. This song here I recall singing on stage xmas time choir in PUBLIC school when I was about 10 in '70. I can't ever listen to it w/o getting choked up & tears literally run down my face. Dont know why. Can't control it with all my power either. Only go to church xmas time & when we sing this, its embarrassing for me when people see this 'Biker' guy lose it while singing. It's going to happen again at Sunday nights mass. Thought if I could listen to several groups doing this as a practice, I'd be OK. I don't see it happening through, still lots of tears. Literally drip off my sides. Again, don't know why, I just can't figure it out. Prepared to be embarrassed again. As usual.
wish the world could hear you no need for wars
I get to sing this with the children of Sweetwater Episcopal Academy every time I go there for a program or service. It always gives me a wonderful feeling and almost brings me to tears to hear the children, who really live the meaning of this song.
Finally the correct words. Very beautiful
I see more videos on YT with same words
Feeling so amazing as i can pray for the world
Wonderful! The sentiment and the sound! Bravo!
Best performance!
BRAVO
Thank you for posting
You have brought tears to my old eyes and I say THANK YOU .
May your voices uplift many and bring us even closer to HIM.

So special.
God is in charge..... Get behind me Satan!! Merry Christmas!! Beautiful Choir...
with God as our who? why are you all singing this with such an affected turn of the vowels. There's a beautiful / perfectly acceptable way to sing "er." There's also an ugly way to sing it but you don't just change the word! And at the end, open it up, with full breath and support, free vibrato give it to us nice and big! You all surely have a bigger sound than that. Losen the girdles and belts - don't make the sopranos do all the work - What are you afraid of? This one ain't Bach!! Choral music in America is dying and it's because somewhere along the way it got way too high church and boring.....
Pretentious much?
It's a beautiful song. Let it be
