You mention Clark Ashton Smith a number of times. Leiber was at least a fan if not a friend of Smith. He attended the installation ceremony of the plaque dedicated to Smith at the Auburn City library in the 1980s. If you haven't had an episode on sword & sorcery yet, I'd recommend trying to get Brian Murphy as a guest, author of Flame and Crimson, a history of Sword & sorcery. He listed weird horror as one of the key elements of S&S. Surprisingly the Lovecraft/Leiber book, Writers of the Dark, is available through Target in the US.
Very enjoyable
Thanks!
