FINALLY!!!! I’ve searched for a reaction to this song so many times and couldn’t believe i couldn’t find a single one. One of the best country songs ever. Many beers were drank, while listening to this song in high school and college.

Another party staple from high school is Alabama’s “Roll On”. We listened to a lot of Alabama, but this was also a drinking game…we had to drink every time they said “roll on”. That’s how bored, small town kids roll (lol).

All-time classic from the Dirt Band! Love it! They also did one of my favorite songs ever that was sort of a minor hit and mostly forgotten. It's called Dance Little Jean. I'd love to see someone do a reaction to that!

This is such a popular Country song that it is played by DJs and such at practically every country bar, festival and between shows…and EVERYONE sings it and “goes fishin”…it’s a can’t fail song…like John Denver “Country Roads” and “Thank God I’m A Country Boy”.

I only like a small amount of country songs, and all of it at least as old as this song...but this is one of my favorites. I was listening to it on the way to work last Monday.
NGDB is who played on Steve Martin's "King Tut" song because they used to have his comedy show--and some of his excellent banjo skills--open their concerts.
Every time this song would come on when I was growing up, my dad would tease my older sister by telling her that she was conceived to it. So naturally she hated this song. 😂

I've been tuning in ever since, including earlier tonight. Their intro song by an artist named Dan Vasc hooked me in too. That dude is AMAZING. I love his metal cover of "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan.
My love for NGDB goes back more years than you've been alive I would imagine. They do no wrong in my eyes. You should really listen to their collaboration album, "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" . I saw Nitty Gritty Dirt Band as the OPENING ACT for Alabama back in 2000 but they didn't treat NGDB as a opening act...they BOTH did their whole show so it was a great concert...but I remember Jeff Hannah(lead singer of the Dirt Band), after their opening set he introduced the band members, and Jeff said, "Here's how much this job affects our family lives, between the 5 of us you see on stage right now, we have been married a TOTAL of 17 TIMES!" That always has stuck with me. Have a great Valentine's Day everyone!

NGDB were a hippie country/rock band that really didn't get recognized by Country Music Industry until the 1990's, even though they started in the 70's. They have done 2 Iconic albums "Will the Circle be Unbroken Vol. 1 &2". They basically trace country music history from the 1920's --- 1990.
Partners, Brothers and Friends and Sharecroppers Dream are 2 other hits of theirs
Their version of " Mr. Bojangles" is great. So is "House at Pooh Corner".
