It's weird how he does bad in Triple A and then he comes up to the MLB and dominates. I mean it makes sense since it's his first start and teams don't know how to hit off of him yet
In his last 3 AAA starts he pitched a total of 20 innings, granted he did end up allowing 5 home runs but he only walked 1 batter and he struck out 20. I don't know what your definition of bad is but he got called up for a reason, this kid has real good stuff!

Another great moment for my "Cubs get owned by the Rockies" collection. Not quite as sweet as when the Rockies beat the cubs in a one game playoff to end their season. Oh, and wasn't that the night after Milwaukee was crowned NL Central champs?

I’d like to give Lambert a lot of credit. He did pitch well. But than again... he did pitch against the Cubbies. Our team strikes out a lot and when they go against someone new... it gets even worse. Not gonna lie, if his debut was against any other team, he’d probably gets destroyed. I love my cubbies but going against new pitchers is one of their weaknesses.
