I've had my white passport for 2 weeks and I'm loving it. The best phone out there.
is it easy to type on?
I have to use 2 hands. takes a little getting use to. Lots of gestures you can do on the keyboard; touch enabled.

Simply one the best reviews I've read, and it's sold me on the device. Sadly I have pretty small hands, but I've tried the keyboard and the scrolling on the keyboard just sold it entirely for me.
Also, little bit of pride since Blackberry is in my hometown. Kitchener Waterloo represent!
I love the appearance of a white square phone. it looks great! Wouldn't be my cup of tea, but definitely looks like a modern phone.
Its true. Im an android guy but i felt its time to change for several reasons and despite the negative comments on the passport. I got it and damn its waaay better than i thought. Thank god i got it. Great screen,battery,power and KEYBOARD IS AWESOME. KEYBOARD ISNT WEIRD ,IT TOOK AN HOUR TO GET USED TO AND I MAY NOT BE AS FAST BUT ITS AMAZING AND I LOVE THE TOUCH SENSITIVE FEATURE CAUSE ITS ACTUALLY REALLY USEFUL.
Your sermon at 10:00 about innovation and the naysayers of the BB Passport: oh boy! It was like Sunday morning on my laptop when watching this. I love my BB Passport (in black colour for the soft touch finish). Great video that was balanced and unbiased.
I like the fact that its not comparable to a s6, note 4, i6plus, it's really in a class of its own. Just how bb used to be. It's different and thats a refresher
Love your impressions and enthusiasm. I agree with your statement, The Passport is innovative. Apple's old catch phase used to be "Think Different". Well, looks like Blackberry took a page out of their book. Look forward to your review. BTW, been loving my Classic for almost two months now.

Tips and tricks: press T to go to the very top of the page. B to the bottom of the page. SPACEBAR is scroll down sections of a page. You can assign quick key shortcuts, for instance F for FB and so forth.

This guy knows what he's talking about. Agree with the Web OS thing. There is a lot of cool neat tricks the passport can do as well.
Wish I could get a white or any other color but black was the only one available to me...It is now 2018 AND I STILL LOVE MY PASSPORT!.. Not awkward...my hands are average in size and it is very easy to use. I am a Blackberry fan, am sad that BLackberry did not continue leading the pack with their stupid decision to try to market to kiddies. LOVE MY BLACKBERRY!!!

Damn! It has landscape mode....didn't expect that. I thought the phone was really big and hard to type on too.... I was playing with the device in the store and it felt good and easy to use. That white looks better imo. Nice review btw.

39 diskiles? 39 people have never used BB10....it is the best OS....
How can you dislike a video like this, it's sweet. Even if you don't like the platform you should cheer this person on as he's genuinely happy with his new toy. I just don't get people sometimes. As a Passport owner myself, though I just have the boring black one I can also honestly say that I really like it. I've had an iPhone, Android phone, tons of Nokia's and the BlackBerry Passport is by far my favorite device. Though I also really liked my Nokia N950, E7 and of course the 808 Pureview.

I guess I'm hopeless.. Thanks for your awesome videos especially for the Passport.. it's to bad I'm on Sprint because I'd get it now even tho I'm a little late. I'd be willing to switch to ATT or T Mobile. If I don't switch im thinking about purchasing to use on wifi only around the house or work. We are iOS sndlike its bulletproofness. I've own mostly Blackberry and Apple going back and forth first had iPhone 4 and BB curves . I love that Passport still even tho BB10 gone. Thankyou sir and thankyou for your service. lol, I saw another review where the passport looked huge in the hand, but when it is in your hand, it seems quite a lot tinier.
i was 2 days away from my tax funds day when the 50 special addition Gold Passport were sold for $1000. They sold out in less then an hour...
I have the classic, but I think I'm going to sell it and get the passport. Classic is nice but that PP looks good lol. Thanks for video

Only suggestion, please inform the good folk about a screen protector/back and the value of it . For $5 bucks you save the screen and back for many years!

yup,i got a white passport after the charger on my q10,failed to charged.i was looking for the red but they said its was a limited production run only in december 2014 and they dont have stock so i got the white one......no regrets n yes....i used my q10 for 2 years and my bold for 5years before i upgrate to q10.so will i regret no,,,,,,,,,its worth my purpose.money well spend.
Great review!! Yes I bought one. Just like you said, I wanted to be different and got a white one. I'm just dying to get it. Man this thing will work on everything meaning networks. A killer phone, I'm a tech been on the net, since 1998. This unit replaces a laptop .
You have only touch on the tip of the iceberg of what this phone can do!
Thinking differently has always come with its share of hecklers but just because something is different doesn't mean that it's bad.
I wish I could have used WebOS before they stopped making any of the devices anymore.

I remember seeing this when it was first anounced in early 2014 and thought it looked awful and I was upset that BlackBerry was going away from the all touch devices like the z10 and z30 (my current device). But after while I have learned to love the look of it and I want one extremely bad! Especially since it has bb10.3. which I had a few beta versions of but it was to unstable. Which brings me to a few things you might not have found out about the OS yet, In the advanced interactions under settings menu you can turn on lift to wake and flip to power save. These are a few great new features only available on bb10.3. Also I noticed when you wanted to unlock the screen rotation you went to the home screen then swiped from the top to get the quick settings. In 10.3 you can swipe with 2 fingers from any app your in to bring the quick settings menu up. It's very handy and saves a lot of time. That's just a few of the newer features that I found in my few months with the 10.3 betas

I've got a question, you think it's worth to get a Passport Silver Edition in June 2016 (and whatsapp as I heard will stop supporting BB devices as from the end of 2016), since its 2 years old from now and a new BB device is coming out very soon (however sadly with android)
Waiting for mine eagerly. Hell, I watched your video so many times :) I just love white one. And I am coming from iPhone after 7 yes. Tried Android for short time but that is not my cup of tea. Bb is the way to go. Also, my photos from last sever years was getting too much and I hate how apple locks my private memories. It is so hard to transfer even to pc. Finally I will be free and my photo will be on sd card under my control.

It's a shame that All carriers don't push BlackBerry in their stores....they may have them but they like off to the side no display nothing....

Im not sure what to buy between the white passport and the blue classic.
Passport is so big...but i like the screen and the battery life.
Classic..well, we can write with only 1 hand and it fits pretty well in a pocket jean.
So i Guess it will be a better driver day to day.

+Nicky_Projectz I think that's the biggest thing that's going against BB at the moment, while a lot of the main apps are available, there's a lot that developers just aint going to make for BB because I assume they think the market share on BB10 is now too small to bother. But the device and the OS is really slick.
+Stephen Mackrill Yes I agree,I'm now using S6 Edge and BB Passport as my primary devices. BBP running Android or Google would make the BBP a mainstream device.

I am looking at the Priv as well as adding another iOs or Android device. Currently my daily driver is a BlackBerry Passport. For like features, I purchased it for about half the price as my iPad Air. The passport is truly a usable device for work and relaxing. I run 98 different apps including androids and still have a charge before bedtime. The passport is a workhorse and finding a replacement would likely be a difficult task. The Priv and iPhone are well-built but the construction, battery life, speaker quality and bluetoothing appears to be better on the passport. Goodluck in your search.
I just read today that they have only sold 8000 of these. Blackberry is going the way of Blockbuster.

I've been preaching since I've first brought the Z10 BB10 is hands down better than any O.S out.....me being a former WebOS guy former HP Pre 3 owner....no better u.i than gesture u.i.....and a fan of innovation I'm just at aww with that gesture Keyboard it's innovation....
How does the back of the device differ from the black version of the Passport? What are your thoughts?
