I can't say i have ever heard of him and found his comedy mildly amusing, i'm like you. Amanda, much prefer the shocking and rude comedians as you just don't know what they will come out with!
So True about UK Police compared to US Police. In Uk they get their truncheons out to scare you (ooohhh matron) lol! whereas guns in USA. I could imagine an American Criminal in UK and police chase him and the officer gets his truncheon out and the criminal is like WTF is that gonna do LOL!
This was some of his tamest stuff. There's a couple of shorts with him talking about swearing - his own swearing and the way people in the USA swear - that are great.
Hi Amanda, I really like Daniel Slossand can say this isn’t one of his best bits though I did enjoy it. He did a bit on Russell Howard’s good news which I thought was better and was the original one that got me into him. Also the are some of his older ones he did on the Paul O’Grady show which were good though clean because of the air time. Would really like to see you react to Jim Jeffries!!
I think you like a Comedian who might have a dark sense of humour, some of his comparisons were quite good, but your right amanda maybe watch a bit more
@@detonator82I've only ever spent time in Glasgow (and mostly the worst part of Glasgow, you know the area I mean) as a kid, and the corner of a posh part of Glasgow as a kid. Never heard of him before and he's a lot more 'toned down' than most comedy now. I think he'd go down well on family shows, with the right material - or maybe acting in light comedy films. There may be a more audacious side to him, for all I know, so never count that out either.
Toned down because it was for Conan on live TV. He's a lot, lot, more dark and "true" when placed into one of his netflix specials. Always hard to judge someone based upon a TV airing; I mean look at Billy Connolly on Parky back in the day - TV Friendly.
I agree with what a handful of people have already said here... This isn't really a Daniel Sloss performance. The netflix specials are more like it. And to echo another, for a short one to react to, try his ~4 minute "religion" clip.
Ive only ever seen one routine hlftom hom that i thought was decent but i cant even remember what it was now. It was so long ago. But overall hes pretty bad.
I'd like to see more before I cast a solid opinion. It would be interesting to watch more young comedians, to see if they are constrained by woke sensibilities. He does seem a little mild from what I've seen.
I'm quite new to your channel Amanda. I've been looking through and can't find a video of your reaction to the fabulous Victoria Wood. Especially her glorious song 'Let’s do it '. A must see of British comedy. Apologies if you have and I've not come across it yet.
He has 2 Netflix specials I enjoy his work
I’ll have to check them out ☺️👍🏻
Have you seen Joe Wilkinson's poem on 8 out of ten cats does countdown? Possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen.
Haha yea I have! It’s brilliant! 😂☺️
a lightly hearted spinnin.
I can't say i have ever heard of him and found his comedy mildly amusing, i'm like you. Amanda, much prefer the shocking and rude comedians as you just don't know what they will come out with!
That was VERY toned town for TV - watch any of his specials
hey peter, yes exactly! thats what i love! but apparently this wasnt his best clip so i will definitely have to watch more of his stuff :)
@@LADYRAEUK please do you won’t regret it
I thought he was talkin about watchin "news" in a manner comparable to watchin midseason of series.
he has two stand up specials on netflix dark and jigsaw in that order, i highly recomend it
ill have a look, thanks james :)

it definitely wouldnt have the same effect haha
This was some of his tamest stuff. There's a couple of shorts with him talking about swearing - his own swearing and the way people in the USA swear - that are great.
First comment :), good observations and by and large true :)
ill have to watch a bit more of his stuff to get a better idea becasue loads of people said this is one of his worst bits .. so we will see :)
hi,loving the vids, would love to see you do so more reactions on lee evens, think the last was 2 years ago
You get better looking by the day ❤
I've only seen him on a few panel shows so don't really know his style outside that setting , this example maybe seemed a little tame imo.
I'll have to watch a bit more of his stuff :) you cant judge on one clip :)
You should have a look at Mind Your Language Amanda
Old school comedy that would now cross the line
Very funny

Hello Amanda to be honest i have never heard of this comedian before i agree with you he didn't seem to be very funny
I think you like a Comedian who might have a dark sense of humour, some of his comparisons were quite good, but your right amanda maybe watch a bit more
I will, you can't judge on one bit :)
He sounds more Australian than Scottish at the beginning. I was born in Glasgow though. When he gets going I can hear it, but it's not a strong accent
He's got a very odd accent actually, has he moved to the US?
EDIT: ah he's from Fife
I thought so too, but I also thought there was a bit of Northern Irish in there...

Oh and everyone warned me not to go to Saltcoats which was a short walk but had a nightclub, because I had an English accent.
Hi Amanda see Joe lycett he is sooo funny if you have reacted to him sorry Tom Allen is brilliant to love your videos x
hey, thanks so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the content :)
I don't think I've seen aything from Tom allen, ill have to check him out :)
Amanda you're not American you've just got an American accent. You are English just like me
Hey ❤❤❤
His skit about his disabled sister is one of the funniest yet most disturbing things I've ever heard 😅🤣
I'll have to check that out :) thanks!
If you want a good belly laugh check out mickey flannagan "the shits abroad"

Check his video on Americans swearing. At his best he's very good
That's on my list, a few people have m,entioned that one :) thanks

Ngl this is probably one of the worst clips ive seen of his
is there another you recommend ? :)
Check out his bit about sexual assault from his special "X"; that is a powerful monologue.
Ill have a look at that, thank you :)
How are you
Try his bit on religion, very good
a few people mentioned htat, ill have to check it out :)
Ive only ever seen one routine hlftom hom that i thought was decent but i cant even remember what it was now. It was so long ago. But overall hes pretty bad.
This is so weak by daniel here, quite disappointing. His specials on Netflix are top tier comedy.
It's for the Conan show on TV, it HAD to be light
which bit do you recommend? :)
Still waiting to for something funny 🥴
I don't think he's funny in the slightest.
I'll see if any of his others are funny :) maybe this jsut wasnt a great one
not great was he amanda 🤷🏼
he wasnt my favourite but ill watch more as i cant judge on one bit.. i've heard he has some better ones so we will see :)
@@LADYRAEUK will my suggestion anthony jeselnik be coming in a few weeks?iandaveyrae.😘
Watch his Swearing sketch
I'll give that one a go, thank you :)
I'm not entirely sure if I've seen Daniel before , I'd have to agree with Amanda . It's only a short clip so I doubt it was his best .
That was VERY toned town for TV
we will have to watch more to decide :)
Pretty mediocre comedy there.
Ill try another one :) who is your favourite comedian?
@@LADYRAEUK I like Lee Mack but probably Frank Skinner (his early stuff especially). Also you can't beat a bit of Ross Noble.
I wonder why americans say "I don't offend" but say very offensiv things?
Hi Amanda, could you do a reaction video to Frank Skinner, extremely funny comedian from the midlands
Have you seen the carrot game on eight out of ten cats?
Funny!
I'd like to see more before I cast a solid opinion. It would be interesting to watch more young comedians, to see if they are constrained by woke sensibilities. He does seem a little mild from what I've seen.
Bear in mind that the clip was for the Conan show..... massively toned down.

I'm glad you enjoyed it chris ! :)
@AMANDARAEUK Well, like you say, he's not the funniest, but I still thought he was quite good.
Never heard of him, would I watch him again, no.
You've reacted to some far better comedians
Daniel Sloss is brilliant! This is him very dialed down...there are better videos of him. Thanks for the laughs Amanda ❤
I'm going to watch a few more, some people recommended his swearing bit :)
Never heard of him. Thank you for sharing
It's always fun finding new comedians :) who is yours>
Nice reaction , but a not very funny comedian😢. Bill burr is excellent for example.
yes! i love bill burr, hes a genuis !
