Quite possibly the best line in the whole compilation. That one or the one about the kid being so dull that the dad sometimes forgets what he looks like.
@@eyesinthesky4731 Though it's also better that kids get to know the bare truths of life as soon possible: it'd automatically sort out those uncapable to deal with it.
@@bri-annaedwardine1697 Yeah, exactly. I would consider talk like this to be the speech of a sociopath with no empathy for anyone else, or a horrible father with complete disregard for his child's feelings, or an incredibly misguided asshole who beleves that "straight talk" somehow breeds emotional resilience rather than simply crushing the spirit of any child unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end. How did it affect you Bri-Anna and are you you over it? That sort of thing can leave lifelong scars.
@@josephgroves3176 tbh I wouldn't have found this funny, my dad actually got my sister a book called "princess bitch face" for her birthday. It may seem like a joke but children need you not to be a clown/arsehole
Does the dad in this have a son in showbuisness? There was a young lad in ( my parents are aliens and some other stuff who looks just like this man, have always thought they could be farther and son
What makes it funny to me is that actually his explanations are for the most part reasonable, as well as candidly honest!
I love his face at the end of all of them, he is just like D:
The dad is so oblivious to what he’s saying that he has elevated it to an art form.
Some of these are so hilarious. A&M are brilliant they are.
The kid is such a good actor
That child actor is trying so hard (and mostly succeeding) in not cracking up. :)
Armstrong and Miller are my favourite English comedians :)
Just found out this show. This is gold. After Mitchell and Webb its the best
I love how Ipswich is the poster-child for a forgettable, unremarkable town. I was born there so it's pretty accurate!
"But if I'm honest Paul, after some of the things she's done to me in the bedroom I couldn't take her into a Church." Lol

The builders one is great

9:12 - actor playing the son. It's beautifully detailed.
"What is it me old china?"
Who wouldn't want an honest dad?
Ohhh, you don't always want that, lol...

@@olracsobi8352 I agree. My situation may be different. My dad is always telling me his suicidal thoughts and how much he hates his life.
LastNoobStanding 7 Maybe that has made you stronger, hasn‘t it?
@@olracsobi8352 oh hell no, he's the whole reason why I suffer from anxiety in the first place! He's a miserable person.
This kid is sooo Lucky I would've killed to have a parent who's this honest!
A few I've not seen before, brilliant!
It's so true, children are so often the death knoll of relationships.
+Olrac Sobi the grassy knoll hehehehehehe

You should be grateful for someone trying to make up for what you should have learnt aged 10.
@@hugolindum7728 Where would you have learned that by age 10?
Nah, people try to hold together bad relationships with kids, which doesn't work.
if the relationship fails on that, it was not stable at all to begin with
Part of his honesty is extremely endearing, but his bluntness would be soul destroying.
the sad thing is, my dad actually did talk to me like this, so I find it hard to laugh at!

Possibly most my favourite sketch from A&M
Absolutely bloody hilarious!
These sketches are hilarious. They remind me of the inappropriately frank father-son conversations in the film 'Happiness'.
This is brilliant
I love this so much I nearly pissed myself.. Nearly xx
Brutally funny
My ex and I have a child together
When he's older (he's 3 at the moment) I'm showing him these sketches
Don't
Iason29. Depends how much older. Teen would find it hilarious, but pretty much any younger and it would cause attachment issues lolol
And that would make you a self center sociopath
What kind of fucking sick joke are you 😠 it's your fault you couldn't be arsed to buy condoms

I wonder what Paul is up to these days - no hang-ups or issues of self esteem at all!!
He's scraping by on the minimum wage.
😂
Why is this funny?
As funny as the RAF pilots and nearly as genius.
His stupid hair 🤣
