Man it sucks so much they don't have commentary. Wwe2k14 had commentary for the 30 years of mania a decade ago and it added so much extra depth if you never watched the earlier mania matches. I like the presentation with Corey graves calling the action when you hit the big moments and some breakdown for the match prior to the gameplay but it's super deflating only hearing some background music while you are actually playing. I compare it to playing the game when it's still installing but you can olay a 1 on 1 with limited characters and only crowd noise, it feels unfinished. I hope they don't do it next year. Would happily take a road to wrestlemania mode with branching stories based on certain results, like we had back in svr 2011 and 2012. That was so much more engaging.

For 2k25 if they scrap slingshot tech and make showcase like 2k16 it would revive the mode .Road to wrestlemania would also be interesting finish the story Cody Rhodes, tribal chief roman reigns ,the GOAT john cena ,VS undertaker ect

If you want accurate commentary use archive clips so in the slingshot tech segments it plays the original commentary and match audio .I remember 2k14 had JR and Jerry lawler on commentary 2k15 cole and Jerry lawler .2k19 had the 3 man commentary from this game

It would be cool when doing these historical matches that we choose which superstar to play as opposed to being locked in as playing as the winner. With there being replay ability from playing as both the winner and loser and each superstar gives you unlockables. For example, Wrestlemania I being Hulk Hogan vs Piper for the WWF Championship opposed to the Tag Team Match. You play as Hogan and win, you get Hogan, Mania I arena and Mr. T unlocked. If you choose Piper and win, you unlock Piper, Piper's Mania 2 attire and Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndoff. Then have Cole and Graves record commentary as if they went back in time to commentate the matches and give us commentary back in showcase matches.
Ngl I kinda wish that match made it into Showcase (mainly because I just want 2016-19 Asuka with her old make up make an official return in the games outside of MyFaction)

The WrestleMania 36 matches are depressing to play in showcase and in regular exhibition. The silence of no crowd and ring mat impacts being echoed.. it's just, 😢
To be honest i am disappointed by the roster this year , the showcase has 2 brock lesnar fights or so but even after both he isn't accessible in the exhibition , some incredible matches like Cena's or Batista's Wrestlemania fights from the Ruthless or even OG era were missing , then the issue with the roster having some people locked behind my faction cards like Seth Rollins' 2014 version which you need to collect 5 specific items for , the lack of fun or legendary versions of Wrestlers and even Arenas For example Randy Orton's '15 Version uses the picture from last years '09 Version despite the picture used being neither from 2015 nor from 2009 John Cena has all versions from his 2020 Wrestlemania match against Bray and even his 2002 outfit but also uses the past years picture of his 2006 version , i just hope that they improve that and give is more legendary fights 😊
I hope that the DLC is worth it , I think one was already announced to have CM PUNK , I hope we atleast get all his Versions as in ECW / early smackdown , Masked and "Best in the World"

I kinda wish they'd just stop doing Showcase and start doing "what if?" scenarios instead. It'd be way more fun seeing what they could come up with for that rather than replaying random matches with superfluous tasks.
