Yes basically you can use it.... However, bust pan (nipple to nipple) is different from persons to persons, and same goes for dart intake.
To get a perfect amount of dart intake , use this formula (Bust Circumference Minus Under-bust Circumference Divided 2) This will give you the exact amount of dart to use.
