- Learn how to make a beautiful high end summer door basket for your front door! This basket door hanger is a great way to add some summer cheer to your front door or anywhere else in your home. I use high quality realistic faux florals in this tutorial so everything is of top quality, but you can make something similar using whatever fits in your budget and is available to you.

Jenny some people are saying that the door wreaths are so big they can’t close the door or flowers get crushed. What do you suggest. The basket looks awesome
This basket is definitely thicker than a door wreath. This is about 9 inches thick. But if they’re wanting a wreath to fit behind a storm door, definitely use a very thin grapevine and florals that don’t stick out much.
I have that problem myself. Great question!
Also, do you have any suggestions for a spray on the flowers to keep them from weathering so bad?

@@kimcaver1553I do! Get a can of clear Mod Podge. I spray that in everything with a heavy hand. All my wreaths can stand up to all the wind, rain, and snow we get in Michigan- even wooden sola flowers I have dyed, which are beyond delicate.
That basket is beautiful and be hung anywhere in your home/bathroom.

I do not glue my moss in place. Because if you're going to insert a flower stem and it ends up being in the area where the glue is it's not going to go through because the glue is in the way. I use greening pins to hold my moss in place
Yes that works great too! I only dab a little bit of glue, so it doesn’t really get in the way of my stems.

No lugar da fita poderia colocar uma flor menor como se ela estivesse "fugindo " da cesta, indo para baixo.

What brand of glue pot do you use? Thanks!
The one I’m using here is a Surebonder. I don’t often use a glue pot, and this is the only one I’ve used so I don’t necessarily recommend it, but it works. It did get a little smokey later which I didn’t love.

I don't glue my moccasin. I use greening pins because of your stem has that glue it's not going in
That works great too! I didn’t use much glue on the moss at all so there’s plenty of room for stems
