Man, I've never found any Golang tuts as enjoyable as yours. You actually explain what we're typing, you explains what alternatives we have and your personal recommendations, you sometimes refactor your code as we go along, I can go on and on... I know that your time is very valuable but please oh please, give us more of that good stuff :D Cheers!
Nic, glad to see you back. I have recently found your Building Microservices with Go series and need more, It is absolutely fantastic. Thank you for the time and experience you share with us.
I have just found a GEM!!. I really liked your Microservices with GO series, and I actually understood each and every word you were saying although it's my first time to deal with GO
Glad you're back, I admit I was worried for you with the Covid stuff, glad you're okay and did what you needed to keep going. I have loved and recommended your microservices streams.
Hey Nic, Your example around mocking and testing helped me a lot. in my project, I was confused exactly at this point. Very helpful. Much appretiated Thanks
Hi Nic. I think I have a nice format for a new RUclips series. You could do a series where you do code reviews or something like that where people can submit their repos and every episode you pick one or two to show and point out what you like or dislike. It would be a huge learning opportunity for everyone :)
Too bad i missed out. Was curious how decide to design your application folder structure especially to support your growing application over time. Isn't the GoLang standard now to put your main.go inside cmd folder?
