As a person who has been singing for many years and who actually chose to sing this song for my partner at our wedding, this song is FUCKING hard to sing. You need POWER and CONTROL, and lots of it. It takes so much concentration and you think you got it but as soon as I went to practice this in front of other people, the shakes and trembles of stage fright I got made me lose all my practiced power and control. It is DAMN hard doing this, as the song says, "on stages with ten thousand people watching". (It feels like ten thousand even when it's 12-20, but for Kodi is actually IS something like ten thousand people). So damn, the courage he has to make those runs even with a trembling voice....I tip my hat off to you, Kodi. This is one of the best songs ever written, too.
