I'm from San Andres A small colombian island situated in the Caribbean sea near Nicaragua and here O'yaba's music is culturaly as strong as it is Lucky Dube's or even Bob Marley's, Seariously, thousands of people are willing to pay any amount of money to see this group playing a concert here in our lands.
Love this music, listening and watching all the way from Solomon Islands.Remember when they tour my country,it was awesome.The football pitch jam packed.Sad,musicians nowadays don't make great music as this anymore.But,this music never gets old anyway.
i have had 2 of their CDs for many years, just looked them up and was surprised to see footage of this hugely talented band and singer, holy moly what a voice! found them because of my unending love for african reggae, kept them because they remind me of Lucky :)
