@@mizubiart6230 The Huni Kuin go by what it tastes like because in their world they don't know what the bread contains. The diet depends on who does it. Rua Inu says that the correct way is to eat their traditional food: corn, green banana, peanuts (no fish, meat, chicken). In the village we had also rice, beans, oil, onion, garlic, lemon, chili, mushrooms, palm heart, potatos, carrots and beets (but no sweetpotato or pumpkin). Here in the north we adapt to what we have here... In my diet we were encouraged to introduce a little bit of salt after a certain time. And a little fish was also allowed. The Huni Kuin don't tell each other what to do, so it's up to each one to make their own judjements and choices in the moment (if I am understanding correctly). And it's not all who are strong enough to resist the temptation of eating meat. 😅
@@TxanaSiriani oh, I see! I think it’s really interesting. I know someone who I think did something similar, eating only rice and cooked vegetables for a month or two. Thanks for the info!
Hi! Thank you for your interest and reminding me to provide more information. So, we will be opening a possibility to join us for a 10-day diet during 19-31 July 2024, in southern Finland. If this resonates for you at this time, please send an e-mail to caminhodajiboia@gmail.com and share a little bit about yourself and your intentions and I will then send you more details about costs and how to apply.
Fascinating! Thank you for sharing. Does bread count as sweet and salty? Or cucumbers? Or broccoli? Or zucchini? Or oil? Or chicken breast?
