Malaysia is the largest tea producing countries in the world and it exports the World famous brand of Tea called "BOH TEA" and a smaller known brand of "TIGER TEA" which has closed down lately. The original tea growers were Indiands and Ceylonese that were brought by the British Colonolists in great numbers to Malaya which the local Malay inhabitants were not keen to take-up the job of tea growing laborers.
Cameron Highlands is a place I never get tired visiting. Been to C Highlands more than 10 times in my life. Always visiting same places - MARDI park, Bharat Tea plantation and sipping tea there, Boh Tea plantation, Pasar Malam, downtown Cameron Highlands, the street stores selling vegetables etc. And never get tired of these places. I am Malaysian residing in KL area..
I strongly suggest C.H. strawberry farm improve on their strawberry species or planting on the ground or do something about it as strawberry from C.H. has the worst strawberry I have eaten around the world. It only has sour with no sweetness taste.
Last visited CH 20 years back with the family, was in love with the place. Was surprised to find 2 gurudwaras (sikh temples)there.Time permit wld visit again.
Yeah...the ice cream is just water and strawberry juice comes from blended strawberry...and sugar to balance the sour taste of strawberries... I usually dont buy it too...hehheheh...
Was just there 2 weeks ago. Can't wait to go back. Just wish it was nearer to KL. Tried to go to the Lord's cafe but they were closed for some reason, it was Sunday night. Food at Big Red strawberry farm is so poor. Even the place looks tired. You should've tried Singh Chapathi. It is highly rated. Unfortunately, it was closed for prayers when I was there.
Lord’s Cafe is only open until 4 or 6pm (can’t remember exactly 😂) Cameron Highlands is not that far from KL if you spending a weekend there, getting our of KL is the problem with all the traffic 😂 O guess now with the virus situation the traffic is probably less anyway. Hope you can go back there soon 😁😁
Me eat them with evaporated milk and a little bit of sugar... it’s like eating strawberry ice cream... but I do like it plain too, but it’s hard to get a sweet one
respect dengan depa ni hormat budaya malaysia even depa tk perlu tutup aurat still pakai pakaian yang sopan orang malaysia sendiri pulak yang tak reti nak hormat budaya sendiri pakai macam takda peraturan dalam agama anyway you have my respect sir and miss
Strawberry planted in the pot is probably the main reason it wasn't sweet at all. CH monopolised the strawberry local supply and that's why they don't bother to improve their sweetness. I will never eat CH strawberry again unless they planted in on the ground.
I when to Cameron highlands when I was 4 in, 2011 and I live in this hotel we can't go to our hotel room because they is no water so we got a different room the next door is honted. This family and a baby died at the hotel room before.
Strawberry farm really need to improve their species as it only has sour taste. They're lying about the taste of strawberry and you can see none of them saying it's sweet.
My aunt used to have those chickens roaming around her house and weirdly enough we called them ayam belanda which literally translated to "netherlands chicken". Only my aunt were able to get close to them though, because they will chase us off if we try to get close to them. 😁
Hello Yes we are in Malaysia, we chose not to go home, it’s better and safer to stay here and follow the world health organisation and government’s advice and wait for the virus to pass 🙂 Stay safe
@@Travelgramers yes... Malaysia has controlled the spread very well... only about 7,600 cases as of today with 115 deaths so we did quite well compared to a lot of countries even in Europe, Asia and the Americas (both North & South)... so u are safer staying put here in Malaysia... enjoy our country... nice video.
Ohh it was cold for Cristiana, when we were there the temperatures were between 15 to 21C°, there was a day that we got 25C° and everyone was wearing t-shirts but Cristiana kept her fleece jacket on 🤷♀️🤷♂️ 😂
Why you cant believe its in Malaysia? One of the problematic mindset of the people of the west is their way of perception of the east. Your expression is as if Malaysia isnt supposed to be this good, I think its high time we appreciate something or a place cleanly without comparing with some sort of "standard". What would it sound if I say, "I cant believe there is a beautiful place in UK?" This title sounds exactly like this way.
It could be Malaysia if Malaysia wasn’t a tropical country and the expected of a tropical country isn’t tea plantations and strawberries. That’s why we couldn’t believe that was Malaysia. Nothing to do with being good or bad but to do with what’s expected from a country where that wasn’t expected! You are implying that only a cold country with mountains is good and that’s the perception of westerners? That’s is the problematic mindset right there! When there’s nothing to say better leave that way! Kindness goes a long way.
It's one of my fav places in Malaysia because of the climate!

Malaysia is definitely not the largest tea producing country in the world but the rest of statement is correct 🙃🙃
The largest tea producing country is China and second India. Malaysia is not in the top 10.
"satu lagi teh tarik" it sounds perfect!
AhHa thanks
Yes I loved it. Who do not? 🤣😁
Make me feel less guilty for having it more than 2 cup per day 😅

Those ice creams was Malaysia Traditional Ice Cream, make of by water - sugar - perhaps strawberries cordial. Yes it is the lowest class of ice cream
