As someone who has watched the show and read the manga, I would like to clear up some misunderstandings. The lotus has nothing to do with how long he has to live. According to the manga, Kanda is constantly hallucinating lotus flowers. It started out only one or two as a child, but increased to a large number as he got older. There is a reason behind this, but you will just have to read the manga to find out.
Well, the lotus flower Kanda has in his room is connected with his life. Every time he dies, a petal falls which is heavily emphasized with his life force (or we're lead to believe that at least). Though, and this headcanon just came to me, that could be a hallucination as well, but one that he believes in so strongly that if all the petals fall, he'll either die for good or fall into a coma.

I am also from Romania. I love this song too. Kanda is my favourite character and I really think that the song fits perfectly with his personality and his overall life.

it was an illusion, one i think was kandas worst fear. he doesnt wanna die until he finds that 'woman'
basically he does too. the flower is his life supply. if he exhausts it too much, then kanda go bye-bye :(
