    Largest non nuclear explosion? That was Halifax in 1917. This one however is large and one I didn't know about

      Really? That's a big surprise. It's been all over the news not too long ago because the VBS is trying to clear the explosives.. Has been on srf.. 20 minutes. Everywhere. For.. Weeks.

    Blausee looks like a man made lake and only 150m deep. If so it could be sectioned off and drained by diverting the source to only half yge lake & letting it naturally diminish? Why all the fuss?

      150? that would be enormous. its only 10 meters. but its a major touristic attraction, it would never be removed for this
