I also prefered the DA2 preamp compared to the other two. :)
Oh btw, I almost never need a pad switch, but doing a low cut on either the mic or the preamp is something I do quite a lot. So removing the low-cut option and adding a pad instead seems like a slightly odd choice to me.

Actually, I have a few TLA preamps and EQs, and I quite like them. Their compressor though: Not so much.
