I keep saying this, but Sigma REALLY needs a better theme than what they give him. This theme doesn't give him justice. I think Max should mod in X6's Sigma theme personally, but as long he changes the theme, the better.

Personally, I'd suggest the Sigma 1st boss theme from X5. Makes sense too, since Sigma does have his X5 look as his premium costume.

Love watching you play this game man! Makes me want to ‘git gud’. Hands down the most enjoyable fighting game I’ve played in awhile, I get my ass kicked more often than not online and yet I still enjoy this game massively

If Winter Soldier is something of a Grappler/Rushdown character, I think that would be kind of cool even though it destroy Leon S. Kennedy's chances of getting into the game (unless Capcom does the skin variant idea and have Leon as Bucky's alt costume)

I still think it’s so weird that we still get 2 Ghost and Goblins characters in this game. A game that hasn’t been remade hasn’t had a sequel in like 20 years but gets 2 characters to represent it. Crazy

If it makes you feel better, Megaman EXE and Megaman Zero were playable characters in the spin-off smashbros style game Onimusha Blade Warriors for the ps2 which was pretty neat.

Aside from watching Max's usual awesome gameplay footage, I also came here to check comments pointing out that "Maverick Hunter" is an actual title for X and Zero in the Mega Man X games. I was slightly disappointed to find a lot of people in the comments not knowing this..
But some people had a cool suggestion: Hunter x Hunter, which kinda makes up for it.
Every time I watch Max begin to start an epic comeback from so far down, Transformers "You Got the Touch" should start playing. XD

I'm loving this game! Best netcode in any current fighting game imho. I've played almost 1000 matches online, and have had maybe 30 games where it lagged.

I seem to remember there being a Mario party where they'd give each pair in team mode a team name. I only remember this because Waluigi and Daisy's was "Odd Couple" which stuck in my mind for whatever reason.

The voices in this game are just...wow. Even Black Panther's. I don't know how they went from MvC3 to this level of quality.

I have a feeling Black Widow is the Slam Masters Black Widow. Mainly because if you look at the character select screen, you'll see 2 spots for Marvel (Venom, Winter Soldier) and 1 spot for Capcom (Slam Masters Black Widow, maybe). Idk, just a hunch.

Yeah they released concept art for all the DLC characters and it was marvel BW. Venom looks hype, but his design is almost impossible to fuck up.

8-Way Dash Function it's worth if you have an actual group irl or if you just like playing training everybso often. Netcode is horrible sadly. You could get some stable matches here and there but yeah.

Shouyou Hinata He’s pretty much design to be a long range character. It’s just that he’s more powerful than beforethanks to his new moves AND the fact the game doesn’t have as many long distance shooting like in UMVCIII

OK, I wasn't honestly sure which stone I'd consider the best before watching this, but after that first match? Every other stone that isn't Soul looks pretty unimpressive by comparison. It straight up won you that game, Max.

I just realized, MvC:I looks and plays like it was made by people who just wanted to see events with as many matches as possible with no downtime. You get in and out of games quickly, but part of that reason is because character intros and win screens are so boring and uninspired that you want to skip them every time. The characters, even the DLC (which look like SO much more work went into them), have so little personality compared to other crossover games. I mean, look at Smash 4: every character feels like a person, and they look like they have character; they play the way they do in their original games. MvC:I is totally different; the characters in this game look and feel like they exist merely to facilitate button presses and gameplay. They could be switched out with colorless blobs and it would play exactly the same.
It's REALLY unnerving once you see it, because you can't UNSEE it.
Smash would play the same with colorless blobs. Every game would play the same with colorless blobs. Gameplay doesn't change with graphics.
And intros in Smash are lame af too. Literally every Pokemon's intro is coming out of a pokeball. Marth, Lucina, Roy, and Ike have the same intro. Mario and Luigi have the same intro.
And at least there aren't Marvel characters that have the exact same moves like Marth to Lucina or Link to Toon Link or Pit to Dark Pit.
