I don't think Alicent gets enough love. I didn't like her before for betraying Rhaenyra but then I realized it wasn't all her fault and she actually became a good Queen. She was obviously looking out for her own sons when she knows Rhaenyra sons are bastards. Alicent's father literally pushed her to get closer with the King but she actually remained loyal to him and a good wife.
I confess that it took me some time to realize that the actor who play Aemond, is actually the same actor who played my Baby Monk ( for who I'd cried my eyes out 💔😭) in The last kingdom. The make up and Ewan's acting is so incredible, he is killing it as Aemond!
I didn’t even think about it, I didn’t notice, he changed so much, especially in childhood they said about him that he was half the size of his older brother, but twice as fierce. Under the tutelage of Ser Christon Cole, Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, he became a skilled and dangerous swordsman, but he remained a wild and wayward fellow, short-tempered and vindictive in the way he jumped up and down, cool in the way he moved, it was brutal and confident. In a way that mother, sister, or even Aegon never acted or acted. No one in Aymond's family could show him this, or teach him this.
I am lost in Aemonds eyes, i mean eye, i dont care if people dont like him and criticise him , i love the man even if he can be dangerous sometimes, in episode nine he was really calm
Queen Alicent, Helaena, Aemond, and soon Daeron are the only greens I care about. Aegon II, Criston, and Otto are annoying to me. I don’t know how to feel about Larys Strong either.
Such a evil look , and what a performance , With in very short screen time he scored more than ever against all GOT and HOTD charactors ever played by others
Upon rewatch, I noticed that everybody came for Aemond AGAIN and ignored how Aegon violently pressed Luke on the table. Yes, Aemond was NOT joking and was insulting Jace and Luke but he didn’t throw a punch. Jace did! Just like Luke took his eye when he claimed a dragon at the risk of burning for trying. Yes he kind of beat everyone that day but they also attacked him!! The dinner scene is a true example of words cutting deeper than swords because the way Jace got offended. lol I mean, this entire thing is so freaking unfortunate. All of them are immature and insecure but that’s what make them great tragic characters! Forever here for Ewan Mitchell as Aemond though. Dude looks badass. Everything with him has weight even the pauses and “mmhs”😅 Btw, I’m still team black. Lol
@@ythelldoineedahandle Bro there are different accounts of this story and I think both will died in SHOW as daemon didn't appeared again in book and chances of survival is very low even if he survived then he would have drowned with Armour or broken his all bones.
He’s not scared of Daemon but he definitely has respect for him. It’s like two alpha wolves…they’ll fight each other if necessary but they also respect each other’s dominance and won’t if they don’t have to.
@@missym877 Well, in the books he is kinda scared of Daemon. But to be fair, that paints him in a better light compared to other greens because others are just terrified shitless of Daemon (which, at least in the books, is completely justified, facing Daemon in combat means your odds of survival are rapidly approaching zero). But the problem with Aemond is that he kinda is a poor mans Daemon. He gets easily taunted (the reason for the death of Lucerys in the books is that one of Baratheon daughters taunted Aemond, he got enraged and chased after Lucerys, therefore plunging the realm into war), he sucks as a commander and gets constantly outwitted (which the events of war that is about to come in season 2 and beyond will show) and he is not even remotely as good of a fighter as Daemon (even though he thinks he is). He does out-do Daemon in terms of violence and wickedness by far though.
@cantfindawayout yep.. prefer daemon in the books.. but in the live action they fleshed out aemonds character, added a bit of humility to him too. And the actor portrays him well so had to switch sides.
I hadn't noticed his jumping up and down right before the fight with Cole. I don't why but I kept replaying it, I'm cackling. I just love him!
same! i think its cute
Omg thanks for pointing that out. I never noticed it 😂
@@Stvsiarose It's been a whole day and I'm still replaying it and laughing 😂
Ya
I thought he was doing a rain dance 😂
Daemon's little smile at the end there. he looks incredibly entertained or like he's going "Bravo, exactly what I would've done."
Aemond is only scary and intimidating with his nephews but then he is the sweetest man on earth , all a gentleman
This man is my obsession, i love him, there is no turning back,
I love Aemond, he is my favourite character along with Aegon, Helaena and Alicent. Ewan portrays Aemond brilliantly.

HOLY CRAP! I knew he looked familiar, I can't believe these two characters are played by the same actor
Ya know, I keep coming back to these scenes and there are some moments that make me realise he is an accidental comedian.
Touchè, HBO. Touchè.
Not Aegon raising his cup & ready to fight Luke for Aemond & Haleana clapping till Jace said something 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
THE JUMPING AT THE BEGINNING
its so cute

It cracks me up to no end how he literally pulls his chair around to stare at Jace and Heleana dancing lmao. Like he was fuming! Lmao.
it makes me laugh so much how aegon raises his glass🤣 at minute 2:52
Aemond bouncing in the background will always be funny

3 minutes in one episode and became my favorite, second to Daemon, thats talent.
You say demon monkey who murdered his wife lol
He made me laugh with the dinner speech, i knew his intentions
The first one eyed man i ever had a crush on
2:15 best scene in the seasson!
Made even more hilarious when you realize he was so mad he turned his whole chair to watch Jace dance with Heleana lmao.
Aemond is very gorgeous and adorable
His little jumpings❤️❤️😂
Aemond is just so cute he's my dream Guy
LOVE HIM SM 💓
same!
As much as i love Aemond i gotta admit that Cole is handsome
I was crushing on him the whole season that it hurt...literally

My brave man
2:23 Daemon already know thats gonna be entertaining
I forgot about him jumping but the attraction was starting little by little

absolutely no one
Aegon: 3:02
Alicent screaming in the background: ENOUGH!!!
sorry god, but I laugh too much
Aegon is absolutely hilarious during the dinner sequence.
I love Aemonds nose
este scenepack me salvo de la depresión
I love the smirk when the pig is put in front of aemond lol only noticed the second time watching
That smirk started a war. Proud moment right? 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
My husband I am so 🤰 for Aemond😂
💚💚💚💚💚
Crazy that Aemond's actor is also in Salt Burn
Aemond could hurt me with or without the dragon
This man is exciting me a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
why did he stood up when jace was making his speach
I found my doodle muse of the day
good luck!
I have the curiosity of how Aemond is as a lover but i use my imagination
Oh yes. That set him off real nicely.
little hopping
Badass
Can you post the links in the comments please?
His hmmms go hard
They would never practice with a real mace like that. One mistake and no more prince

*Hm* 💚
If he didn't say "I don't give a shit" I might of believed this lore.. just a little more.
I would love Aemond to be my bodyguard , if i was there and i would be a lady that sews clothes instead of a dancer and a future makeup artist
"hmm"
Hmm

All of Aemond's fangirls are gonna be upset when Daemon puts Dark Sister through his good eye.
ok
Both aemond and daemon as both died😅.
