The only people I would recommend to set up a private SMTP server is a true cold email expert. If you try and do this as a novice, you are going to burn your server, fast and waste all of that money and time.
Awesome video Jay, I actually just set up the Google Sheet GPT on your other video, but now you're saying it failed? I'm curious to know if you're still using the google sheets and linkedin method? or are you going all in with just Instantly API prompts?
Jay - you said the AI prompts can't use a URL to scrape data from to include in the prompt/reply but that top prompt "General unique opening sentence." says "utilizing information from either a Linkedin profile or a company website" which to me implies it is indeed able to scrape data from the URLs. I know that OpenAI has opened up he browse feature so maybe that was not true 4 months ago but is true today - can you confirm?
AI models themselves generally cannot directly access or scrape content from URLs. They rely on information provided within prompts or integrated through additional tools.
btw, if you add website variable in the prompt, it can surf that website, and write crazy good personalized first lines, testing this out right now myself. It can surf the net with decent accuracy.
I did experiment with this and with surfing, LinkedIn profiles, and so far I come to the conclusion that it does not. It will extract some basic information, but not scraping.

I've done side by side comparisons with OpenAi. This is odd because supposedly Instantly is just using the OpenAi API. Every AI tool out there right now is just using Open AI API
What errors did you see? Are you still getting them?
We strongly recommend getting your domains from Google or Godaddy . But my domain is with Wix so is it why its not working?
