We decided to stay at mongkok instead na dyan. Small space din pero mas ok yung accomodation namen check m yung vlog ko although umabot kame 180hkd solong solo namen yung internet at buong hostel hahah
I’m very sorry to hear that.. next time if u stay in Hong Kong I would suggest you stay at Unique Hotel in Chungking Mansions...E block 9th floor... no nonsense. It’s a beautiful guesthouse.. I’m here right now paying $150 HKD per night. Obviously because of the virus that’s why it’s so cheap for a two bed even though I’m by myself. I’m not sure how much a 2 bed usually is. I’ve been staying here for the past 2 years every time I travel here. 😊😊
the point was, the photos looked really good and not at all how it really is. That's why in the end I said we really need to check reviews etc. it was our fault still for not researching enough
I mean this is just 4yrs ago. Have you seen the ground floor. Youre basically living on top of a palengke. You shouldve done your research more instead of just choosing the cheapest price. Also dont worry about the tv. Nobody really watches tv when youre on a vacation. You only need cartoons for the children and a little bit of backround noise during the night if you know what i mean. Its a learning experience. What really matter is that you and your family enjoyed your visit.
Everything, from the smelly hallways with spit stains on the wall to the ignorant Pakistan guys I spoke too. From the moment We arrived, we were told that this place was a “new management handled” 1 Month ago and the day before they had the same issue and made the “Filipino” pay again at the property. Mind you I made reservations on Aug 2019 270 HKD and “suppose to pay the difference of 324 HKD. I was yelled at by the 2 Indian guys, arguing stating they never got the payment from the bank and was made to leave the premises. The guy talking to the lady even turned the lights off on us. They passed me to the people on 16th Floor on Block C saying I need to fix it with them. I was then told that I need to pay the difference of 324 HKD and will be moved back once it was explained that I still have a difference of 324 HKD. The room was filthy, sheets smelled like cigarettes smoke provided 1 towel on the 1st day, replaced 2 towels and took the towels on our last day, Needless to say we couldn’t shower because there was no one there to assist us or the towels. They came in our room everyday to clean and even took my adidas socks too. As you can see on the receipt, they made us pay 450HKD, and had the odacity to say that if we don’t like to pay the 450 HKD he would still charge us additional 10% plus luggage charge if we leave. No choice, and even when I wanted to call the police they made me feel that I was some sort of illegal immigrant. THIS PLACE IS A DUMP!
you know... we just left that place. to be fair though, everything was already paid via credit card that's why we just went out and opted to look for another hotel, thinking that we can refund. well, it was too much hassle refunding so we just put the whole experience as a lesson 😊 I'm sad that's what happened to you, and I hope that those people who rip off and do false advertising in this place get their karma soon

Hk is one of the most expensive place to live. Be educated. You get what you have paid for, dont expect much.
