Thanks for keeping the foundation blues songs alive! For me, this is one of the all time great songs that you can't help yourself but sing along! This song is on my bucket list!
Bravo C est toujours un grand plaisir de vous ecouter.c est la plus belle version de how long blues que l ai ecoute Nous attendons la prochaine video avec impatience
Wonderful cord change structure. You always use forms that walk right into the next cord form in close proximity with a bass (muffled or clear) in a perfect on or off beat. Meanwhile, very clear hammer on notes are traversing ( in somewhat of an off beat) across a solid structure of the bass & the cords being picked. You give the thirsty ear a cornucopia of notes from a wide scale of octave possibilities. Thank you for sharing such a fine arrangement & instruction in a standard tuning.Your interpretation's of these songs belongs preserved in archives of The Library of Congress. Sincerely, Vince James (Ajello)
@@daddystovepipe You are the best more than welcomed. After playing guitar around 50yrs.(23 yrs.for a living), I have embraced classical, folk, blues, swing, blue grass, R&B, country, & Rock. I write in all those Idioms & am a tenor vocalist. You have helped me apply finger style applications that give my musical journey another dimension. As you know my family musical heritage & influences and are mostly from growing up in the New Orleans French Quarter. Thank you Sir Daddy Stovepipe. Your Student, Vince James (Ajello)
He can play the blues cause he's lived the blues, like that man in the picture on the wall behind him of blind Jefferson. This is where rock, jazz, big band music and country all came from . Wonderful book hear..
Don't forget you are comparing two completely different approaches to a composition. Clapton usually plays holding a pick of some sort, & his choice of notes may be different. What is Wonderful musicians seem to choose notes that fit what they feel, come from inspiration, & what they are able to initiate based on hand size, dexterity etc. Two completely different paintings of the same subject. It's all good brother! Keeps music interesting.👍
Beautiful. I’m always fascinated by the guitars you play and have displayed in the background. How many guitars do you own? You have a lovely collection.
E molto ispirante, lasciare le corde basse per creare la melodia del canto. Se lei è in grado di rifare questo bel brano al modo "classico "e cantare come un uomo bianco per favore. Auguri. Gregorio
