A long with the alt thing Cuz of Milage you can extend a specific character's gameplay by a whole 70fp max per day which can be another hour of gameplay which means a lot. Milage is super easy and does transfer character to character, which *further* encourages alts, especially because milage can also be used to buy other useful items.
Wow, as a kDNF and now Neople's NA DnF player.I have to say this is a good comprehensive guide for beginners. Because I'm sorry I presumed majority of NA players are horrible at Asian games for some reasons...Sorry XD But thanks for your guide, reminded me the nostalgic moments within DnF. You should add me on NA server maybe haha.
well, fix damages are not fixed at all! base damage, fire damage, strength, intelligent, and special equipment such as ghost sword can drastically impact your fix damage.
You should make a video about the storyline, i know many players just grind dungeons and complete quests without reading the storyline or what the NPCs say. Making a video on that will be really helpful :DDD
That's actually part of the plan! So no worries there! Once things get settled in terms of our video-making schedule, we'll be uploading lore videos every once in a while. I love the lore in this game so I definitely want to create a full series on that! =) (there's no way it'll all fit in one video haha)
ultimate tip for new players: start game make any char, get to level 30 to unlock auction house, go to ghent sever if u cant just find a level 75 - 85 player, select trade with that person then proceed to beg for 500,000g each time then sell a random item for the amount you want and they will buy it for you.
komujimaru No, I read it. I meant you can't trade gold at all in DFOG (They disabled it) so I was wondering if by trade, you meant AH transaction, or item trade?
i picked the sword master subclass with Fslayer, didnt really like it that much so i changed to demon slayer using my 1 free subclass change, now making more characters i want to make sure i dont pick a subclass im not going to like, is there a place where i can view what each ability does? ive seen some of the wiki's and they're all just brief descriptions of what the abilities do, instead of a quick video, like in the skilltree in game. or should i just try a class out, and if i dont like it, use the subclass change for a small fee?
hm so i pick MSpitfire im not completely sure which is better for weapons Musket or bowgun. The musket has attack speed and shot count also increase cooldown for ur *jack Spike* and *Rising Shot* now for the bowgun passive Bowgun- Basic shot attack speed Jump shot attack speed Basic shot range Basic shot count Magic crit rate Silver bullets Freezing bullets Blazing bullets Right now im only lvl 47
Extra tip for new players that have no idea what class to play. Play a Priest. Every single Priest sub class is fun, all of them have widely varied styles, and themes, and all of them are good in different ways. It's impossible to go wrong with Priest, and having a priest is never a bad thing.
Vriskers I would say that the main problem with that, is that a lot of Fighter sub-classes are somewhat confusing to new players, and they're massively gear dependent for the most part, Also they're not as forgiving as Priest classes. Almost all the Priest classes can be extremely good, effective, and fun no matter how new you are to this kind of game. Priest is very forgiving, most of them being far more durable than Fighter classes, and with better utility for the most part, so even if you're bad at the gameplay, you can provide stuff for a party, or friends. Though to be fair, I'm not the best at the game, and that's just my personal opinion.
Zylo Wolfzan Depends on the fighter class. Nen master is relatively simple to grasp but Striker may be overwhelming for some. But indeed, Priest is pretty beginner friendly.
Zylo Wolfzan No lol, new players should definately play either Slayer or Female Fighter. They're all a lot easier than priest. Crusader ain't that simple. monk's the hardest class in the game. Exo is very simple but it having a hybrid option can throw new players off, and Avenger Is i'd say medium since you'd need to master the demon bar control thingy? Idk even Dark Knight is easy as hell lol. But to be fair anyone can play any class if they just youtube some gameplay.
FueledByFury I disagree, mostly because new players have the first 15 levels of Priest to figure the game out. The first levels of Priest are simple, straightforward, and quite forgiving. I'd say it's the best class to start with, and if you catch on quickly, you can choose a more complex sub-class, and if not, Crusader is actually pretty easy to play, especially in a party. Monk is for those who caught on extremely fast and want more complexity, Exorcist is the safest Sub-class choice because you can decide on either Physical, or Magical, and Avenger adds a small, but interesting mechanic while staying simple and forgiving otherwise. I think it's the best class to START with, because it's very hard to go wrong with the class, or even the sub-classes.
A normal non-magic seal rare (purple) equip you can grind in normal disassemblers since they do actually give a good amount of cubes. For magic seal rares, identified or otherwise, there shouldn't be a difference in the output you get from grinding it in the profession personal disassembler.
I picked Dissembler and i used my personal rookie Dissembler thing and after i used it like 15 times it disappeared from my invo and i cant get it back... and when I get rid of the profession and take it back i still dont get the rookie dissembler
red9464 I think that was from the challenge event, was it not? If you are a disassembler class, you don't get a personal profession disassembler, and the challenge even disassembler is a one time use item (you get a good amount of them though).
Hey bud great video, it was really enjoyable to watch. Im a beginer in this game and i've been having trouble to choose a class to be main, due to the insane number of possibilities, but from the classes i've played since now the one i liked the most was the Dark Knight with his fun combos combinations, but i've been reading some foruns and it seems that the dark knight cant use the endgame gear, so could you tell me a bit more about this character? I really liked it and i want to know what you have to say about it, if you could spare some time to share your thoughts. Thank you :)
+Arthur Moreira Dark Knight is a good class. The reason people say there's no end game gear for dark knight is because they are mostly right. It doesn't mean you won't be proficient as a dark knight end game, however, because there's no chron sets for either dark knight or creator, you'll be lacking some versatility there, unfortunately. Let's hope they add some for your class eventually. Just keep playing DK. Maybe make an alt too. Can't hurt. =)
+RiseMT Since Dark Knight can use slayer skills can't he still wield ordinary Chronicle gear that would buff his slayer skills? No where near as good as sets but it'd be a good leeway for them to better gear, especially since dk has nice dps, I guess that'd be useful in parties
My problem is I'll get into a class, then look up guides for it but then it'll say something like "If you can't do X thing then you're useless and don't play this class" my question being how true is that? I play MMO's very casually. The class in question here is Elven Knight btw.
Anthony Nguyen It's dependent on the class itself. So for Elven Knight, doing chain rush is a pretty important skill that the class itself revolves around. Not being able to do it effectively doesn't mean you won't clear, but you won't be as good as other Elven Players that can. Another is monk and not being able to sway or do a lot of the technical aspects lowers your overall skill for the class. There are classes that can afford to be flexible, however, such as Elementalist. Besides a few skills that you must get such as your passives that allow you to mobile cast, a lot of the other skills are up to you. You can mix and match what you want, and no two Eles are the same. You can be a fire and light Ele or ice and dark, whatever you end up preferring. There's no real 'right' way to play a class, just what's recommended and what the current meta prefers. A friend of mine only plays a class he believes is ignored and tries to make them work via building them in a particular way. He would do things like cannon spit for example. He loves doing things like that because he's an avid theorycrafter. If you are a beginner, I just recommend picking what you want. Guides are a good guideline, but that's pretty much it. By the time you hit cap, you'll understand the class better than what most guides can give to you. The only time a skill build guide is helpful I feel is when they go into the specific gameplays the class can undertake and how certain skills resonate with one another. Recommended combos, etc. and explains why a skill is recommended or not recommended. For instance, why the g-series on an fmech is a must. Maybe you can build your Elven Knight without needing Chain Rush, who knows for sure? Anyway, skill resets are free so go experiment! That's half the fun =)
is there a way to easily distinguish what classes have more fixed or more percent damage skills in their kit, and if a skill is fixed or percent? (as many abilities appear, in their tooltip descriptions, to have a combination of both fixed and percent damage)
Yeah, many skills are a combination of fixed and percentage. But those that are, normally have more percentage rating than fixed, so you can sort of consider that a percentage skill. You can find that info in their skill tree, and hopefully once someone finishes building the skill builder for the current DFOG, you can also view that info online as well.
i know this isn't the place to ask but i'm not having a good time in DFO, with the unique avatar clothes do you just have to get the "random box" and the "item of the day" or is there a place you can buy avatar items by choosing pieces you want alone?
ZeroTheHeartlessKing There are avatar "sets" in the cash shop that you can purchase. You can't pick individual pieces from a variety of sets just yet. I think if you click on the box in the cash shop, it'll show you how they look too on the right hand side.
RiseMT so they don't have like what nexon had? (just yet anyways) thank you dood^^ i havent been on since the nexon days so i was really confused about the new shops, at least they cost coins now since i have no idea how to get CERA (i think it's called) and millage XD (from what i heard you have to be in lvl 20 zones to start getting millage, right?)
To get mileage, just finish a dungeon near your own level after you hit level 20. So if you are a level 30, do dungeons near your level. You get 30 mileage points a day! And yeah, no cera yet but mileage is pretty sweet stuff. I hope they continue using it haha.
my main is lv 58 avenger/alchemist and so far i've used like 10 potions on him in his lifetime. so i decided to not create any lower level potions bcs i thought nobody needs them. am i missing something? maybe low potion demand is specific to this class?
i've got to a high level with blood mage or idk i can't remember it's name and i read that it was literally the worst and so i deleted the game, now after 2 years i'm going back
Hi How was ur day ? i'm playing lol , hs , gw2 can u give me an advice for a game so i can try it btw i didn't like DFO but is there a games are fun if u are playing it alone ?

Ah I suppose I didn't cover that. Basically, they are their own separate classes. They might seem the same at first, but the minor/major differences make them stand out on their own. +Lolave Sort of. Takes about 3 weeks to hit cap, faster if you know what to do and have the time to do it. And by 3 weeks, I mean around 3 hours a day of game time.
Do you know how to read Korean? Sounds like you have been playing for a long time in Korean server. Such high morality can not be achieved without years of dfo gaming experience.
This was great! We need content like this to keep the game alive! Good job
rayrayrayrayful Thanks for the kind words! And glad you enjoyed.
Just wanted to thank you for making these videos even I didn't know these tips but now I do. Thanks again!
CharonChaos You're very welcome! =)
Though I play for years lol I found this helpful to show people for a more detail explanation

This is really in-depth! I had no idea that there was so much to this game. Seems like a good game to invest my free time.
IAmJeenyuss I totally recommend it. The game is insane in terms of details and it'll take me years just trying to cover it all haha.
I decided to go with spitfire because of the amount of destruction a grenade can do especially at second awakening
Love the video and background music you use for the videos! Keep it up!
Chaos1091 Thanks! And glad you enjoyed!
Elmwood is bringing the female gunner over which made me interested, she'll be my first character.

Thanks for the compliment! I'll be sure to tell MT =)
- Rise
now I see where rose gets her idle animations
I went with M.Launcher because of the huge guns and cannons :D
ADolff Great choice! Pretty much my exact train of thought when I decided to main a male launcher.
+ADolff you should have chosen F Launcher....
Surprised James Why F.Launcher?
ADolff She has more speed

um did you fully read my post ?, you put up a item and they buy it for the price you state.
komujimaru No, I read it. I meant you can't trade gold at all in DFOG (They disabled it) so I was wondering if by trade, you meant AH transaction, or item trade?

What class is 6:05?
Priest (Monk) If i am correct
my main is lv 58 avenger/alchemist and so far i've used like 10 potions on him in his lifetime. so i decided to not create any lower level potions bcs i thought nobody needs them. am i missing something? maybe low potion demand is specific to this class?
Nice vid! subbed
im glad i looked at this video and a few others im enjoying soul bender :D
***** Glad to have helped!
RiseMT but im still deciding on what class my female fighter should be D:
When a decision can't be made...just make all of them!
RiseMT rise does the mercenary system work when im offline ? (i mean can i send a character away while im at work?)
Yup it does so no problem.
does this still hold up today?
i've got to a high level with blood mage or idk i can't remember it's name and i read that it was literally the worst and so i deleted the game, now after 2 years i'm going back
What class is cross blitz i really like the abilities an gameplay of that toon
kirk doyle Uh, I'm not 100% sure how to answer your question lol.
RiseMT Nevermind i figured out wat class its a monk >.> was looking through quite difficult to get use to the play of the class but very fun
kirk doyle Haha cool, glad you found the class!
Hi
How was ur day ?
i'm playing lol , hs , gw2 can u give me an advice for a game so i can try it btw i didn't like DFO but is there a games are fun if u are playing it alone ?
OoLRaxloO My day's pretty swell, thanks for asking! As for what games I could recommend, maybe try Pillars of Eternity? I'm mostly an RPG guy so I can't recommend much, but pillars of eternity is pretty damn good. Give it a try.
RiseMT ty so much =)
I can't login to the dfo launcher, I really want to play, please help!
Bob Saget Try posting on reddit.com/r/dfo for help with some screenshots. They'll do a better job than me if you need technical assistance. Hope your issues are resolved soon.

Not sure if someone stole it from you or if you posted it there. That one appears to have been posted about a week after this video.
+TheWiiHunter Oh huh, you are right. Guess they stole it lol. Well at least the information is available to anyone that wants to read about it.
what about male vs female counter parts?
Ah I suppose I didn't cover that. Basically, they are their own separate classes. They might seem the same at first, but the minor/major differences make them stand out on their own. For instance, in the past, I created an F.Mech because she was better at PvE than M.Mech but M.Mech dominated in PvP in comparison.
Hm, I might do a series on differences between the male/female counterparts later. This concept may be confusing to some people.
RiseMT You think F. Mech is better at pvp? I dunno i main an M mech myself and i feel like the flooding of robots and all works better on pvp. Dont know much about F. Mech tho so i cant talk allot.
thelightclaw No, no, I agree with you? I think you misread what I said =P
RiseMT Oh no wait I said something wrong, i meant to say PvE not PvP. So why is f mech supposedly better at PvE? Because of the G-Series?
Pretty much. I'm not saying MMech is bad at PvE, of course, but Fmech has an easier time with it due to G-series.
hello bro, can you help me where can i download the game client
bodie lorizo their official website
Knight - Chaos :)
vishula gamaetige I shouldnt have started with this class, such op faceroll... hopped on other classes to give them a try, boring af compared to chaos
Jacky Chen Chaos is pretty boring. Especially those Summoning Animals. Which classes are fun in your POV?
vishula gamaetige Trying to find a class myself...maybe monk
Jacky Chen You mean the Priest or ? who is the monk?
priest>monk
What class is shown in the video?
Replying to myself to show I know it's male mage, but I assume the elemental subclass? Also, did he get taller as the game goes on, or is that due to class or a cash shop item?
Thomas Perez It is indeed Elemental Bomber (Or Elementalist as is known in DFOG). =)
Also, don't think there is? Haha.
Thomas Perez That would be a M.Gunner
In this game is there stamina??
cause if there is i might shit my pants
Jacob Rose lol
Jacob Rose There is. When you die in a dungeon you have Stamina. Which causes you to have lowered HP/MP. Only occurs when you don't use a token. Not a huge deal, you can use gold to recover. Or that event item from the CEO.
Ok cool
RiseMT whos best character? i cant choose
why do you sound like rifle gaming
36 classes? Oh boy
i think pve can be as hard as shit so i disagree with that statement
How did you multi-disassemble? I haven't been able to so I had just thought we didn't get that feature yet...
ctrl + click! =)
Is this game really grindy or nah?
