Thanks, Daryl. Needed to hear this as a guy 7 months into running my own business.
Good to hear you got some use out of the video. I appreciate you watching and hoping you have much success!
Great Content! I am looking to dive into the Handyman business. Do have been doing small assembly jobs and bulb changes. Raleigh, NC. Looking to start supplementing my income first and then retire and use this as some retirement income as well.
Great video! Guilty of #5. Helped a lady sell her car a few weeks back 😅
Helped her sell her car?!?! That tip you got must have been crazy 😂.
"I look different now than from back when" lol
Just a little...
Your content is gold! Thanks for taking the time to share DTF!
I've been a full time handyman for 6 months now. But I have a dilemma to overcome. Customers call me, describe the job, then often ask my hourly rate. This is very frustrating. I get stuck like a dear in the headlights when they ask. Can you advise how to confront customers that ask for hourly rates?
When I get asked about hourly rates, I just tell them that I invoice by the job not by the hour. I also explain to them that in my experience it works better for them because they’ll know what they’re paying in advance and won’t have to wonder if I’m stretching out the job to make more money. I always try to make it about how they benefit.
Great Work.
Thanks for watching

Come on in man we have plenty of room!
When work drags on and the invoice keeps growing, I like progress payments. What got done this week? Pay for it on Friday.
Sounds like a good idea, I might have to try that one.
Omg the story about the picture 😂 ive had that happen to me so many times then people online say "its just a screw" lol
Absolutely, if it's just a screw they should be more than capable of doing it themselves.
I could relate to#6 fasho! It's like you were talking directly to me
Lol, we've all done it. Unfortunately, trying to be nice will tank your business.
Very helpful! 🙏🏽
I'm glad you found some value in it, thanks for watching!
Love your stuff man!
