Werder Bremen II probably got relegated because their first team was relegated from the second division and there are not allowed to play in the same league
Spanish "B" teams cannot play in the top flight, even if they win the 2nd division (as they obviously can't share division with their senior squads). The promotion spot goes the team behind them in the league table and the same applies to play-off spots.
Regarding Werder Bremen, in Germany there has to be a difference of 2 leagues between a club's A- and B-team. IRL Freiburg's B-team finished 2nd in the 3rd division but wasn't allowed to be promoted because Freiburg plays only 2 leagues higher, in the Bundesliga.
Its not quite like that, the B team can play in the 3rd divison even though the main team is in the 2nd tier of german football. So in the case of Werder Bremen, the main team will most likely have been relegated from the 2nd into the 3rd divison
werder bremen II were relegated due to being a second team, and the first team takes priority despite league position, even if they win the league theyd get relegated
I love that of moving teams from divisions and so on. Suggestion: Take a small league, such as San Marino or Andorra, and replace the teams with those that have not gone to Europe for years. Example: Hertha Berlin, Celta de Vigo, Crystal Palace...
I can probably explain why Portugal didn’t work I once attempted to just relegate the big 3 down to the lowest national division (4th tier) and it immediately broke, but not because of me making a mistake or because of the divisions’ format Like the Madeira U19 Cup (I suspect it’s not the only one), the game hard codes it at like 12 teams where only 5 exist, so it immediately breaks once you do anything in the editor. Change the name of the 1st Division to Liga Portugal Betclic because that’s the new name? Nop, it breaks EVERY TIME So you would have to fix any of that sh- before you do anything in Portugal…or just delete anything extra that could cause trouble Bonus: And…just in case…if you attempt to flip divisions in Portugal, be careful with the geography in the 3rd and 4th division, because their groups are based on location. Never tested it, but if ANY OTHER THING could cause trouble (apart from the U19 regional cups), that would be a good shout.
I love the content and always find your experiments interesting. The only thing I would change if you do this again is if you can flip all European leagues, then use the same amount of leagues in each countries to give all the ex- top league teams the same starting point. (i hope someone else with more editor experience can help out to get a complete champions league with low ranked teams). maybe also edit the amount of teams that go up and down to be the same across europe
I normally hate these sims because they are kind of ridiculous but you did it in an interesting way. I think it is more interesting to actually have FIFA force clubs (like Barca) who have unreal amounts of debt be dumped down to the lowest division and forced to sell all their first team players to pay off the debt and maybe even sell of the stadium and only let like u19 players to stay and try and phoenix them back up.
I think it would be pretty good to see a Luke Vs dad video with west ham and Millwall. Big rivalry and Millwall constantly pushing towards playoffs in championship. Could be good?
For Werder I assume the main team were in the 4th tier and got promoted or they were in the 2nd tier and got relegated and they can't both play in the same division but it weird that a B or II team can be in a higher division that their main team.
I was hoping Barca and Real would get stuck in tier 3 because they weren't allowed to be in the same division as their B sides... but I guess they'd just replace them.

werder bremen II were most likely relegated because the main team got promoted into that league and they can't play in the same league
They went down to the second league but they need to be 2 leagues away form each other
Why can't they play in the same league. It would be funny seeing the full team play the reserves in a league game
@@samuelpinder1215This isn't a serious question, right?
@@yorampaar2011 what's wrong with werder bremen playing werder bremen zwei?

Saint Etienne going to the 4th tear and then ending up 4th and 2nd in L1 is insanely good tbf

15:34 Because their first team got relegated to the second tier and second team in Germany must play 2 leagues below the first team.
For why Castilla didnt get promoted, Spanish B teams can't go up to the 1st division, in fact, they once won the 2nd tier in 1983

2:14 I believe Ibiza, Numancia, Logrones & Sabadell were all in the playoffs as B/2nd teams can't be in La Liga

I'd like a variation of this experiment where the reputations are also swapped.

The next experiment recerse Europe's Leagues reputation for example PL is 1st but in reverse it's last etc.

you should do a video where every english team has only their starting 11, no one else, and see what happens

Glad the Bavaria got out quick 😂
Luke maybe you should try to do a small ajax rebuild with the new purchases like medic, borges, van den boomen and see how it will end up
Hey luke is there any chance you can do a wolves rebuild please I would love to see it as we probably won't stay up this season lol 😂😂

Next time you do a league flip experiment, is there any way you can flip the clubs reputation too?
Where did Hamburg go? They seem to have vanished from germany!!
Can you do the perfect worst club run and get a team to fold entirely if its even possible?
How you got this is a file to run this would be an interesting challenge
Where can we get this database??love the video
In Spain B teams can't be on the top division
Is this database available anywhere
