I've got a 2WD 72 crewcab that came from Alberta, I'm enjoying fixing it up, they are a rare truck these days!
They're awesome trucks. All those old pickups have some really cool style.

509 Hughes Nothing sounds like them old doors, this truck has power locks the previous owner put in which is kinda nice! Kids?? Ya heck ya some kids in a few years would be alright.. I'm 26.. At least when the "sell old yellow a kid is coming" conversation comes up I can say it's got room for car seats or you can hit the road! 😂

Bryan Fricot I'm not sure about paint just yet. I used to hate the yellow but it's slowly grown on me and it's pretty un common.. Kinda also like a dark Cherry black, Burnt orange or Electric blue.. Also depends on wether or not I keep the chrome or do some colour matching
Ben_Syxxes big decisions to be made lol one of the hardest decisions with any build is colors. I would personally say leave the chrome as there’s not much but enough to accent and if you’re a fan of dark cherry, how about the Ford’s factory color of Ruby Red. It’s been available on 11-present Ford trucks. One of the most beautiful colors in my opinion
@@fricot_21 Vintage colors are much more striking on older trucks. Robin's Egg Blue, Seafoam Green, Wheat Yellow.
You don't see them today, but they are classic vintage colors.

Josh Garner Depending on where you're located the crew cabs are the hardest to come by but anything regular cab/long box or super cab is pretty easy to come by in these parts.

Had one of those in 78, when only Hutterites and railways used them. 300 six with a four speed, real truck.
fuck sits for 2 years and still starts better than my 68 chevelle she takes about 30 seconds of cranking and 13million pumps of the pedal, but she did sit for 6 years before this year. Jets might be a tad clogged.
