As a disabled person who’s rarely able to leave the house my cats are truly what keeps me going most days, can’t imagine the hole you’re feeling right now, when you’re stuck somewhere, having something as bright and beautiful as a cat to brighten up the place makes a place home. Jellie was truly a special girl and she did such a wonderful job while she was here! She stole the hearts of thousands, animals like that don’t come along often xx
I can. Been disabled my whole life and have had cats since before I could walk so I've lost quite a few already. Every time it happens it hurts so much that I consider not to get an other but also every time an other cat comes on my path as if it's the same cat reincarnated to keep guard on me and keep me company....

There's a scar on my right hand's knuckle. It was from my puppy biting me while we were trying to calm him down after he got hit by a car. So many lessons and memories in the most simple, small scar, pets leave an impact on our lives that we never forget.
Took me a month to work up the nerves to watch this. My family lost a beloved family cat which he has for about 14 years around the same time.
A cat 17 years old is an incredible testament to how much she was loved. You will be missed, Jellie.

I'm currently showing to a friend how to play Minecraft and to show her how incredible a Minecraft community can be, I loaded up the Hermitcraft Season 7 map. Seconds after entering the town hall to show her the diamond throne, I heard a meow and my heart instanly broke in two. 💔😢
But it made me realize that Jellie will always be with us in our hearts and on these archived maps; she'll always be ready to welcome you to the Mayor's office or to watch over the shopping district atop the diamond throne. She indeed is the Queen of Minecraft and will always be in our hearts ❤
I know that this is a small comment in an ocean, but I hope that somehow you know, Scar, that I'm sending so much love to you and yours in such a difficult time. I lost my kitty this autumn. She helped me recover from addiction, and she would calm me when my cognitive dysfunction acted up and anxiety spiked. She was the best kitty, just like your Jellie was as well. It is tough to not be able to turn to the very being whom could make you feel better. I saw this video in my feed today and my heart dropped and now I'm just crying my way through typing this.

I really can understand so much.
My own cat, Lumos, has been in the hospital for going on 5 days now. He had a really bad UTI, scaring me half to death. And the vet will put the catheter in Thursday, took it out Friday. Lumos had been okay, alert and knew I was there when I visited. From Friday night into Saturday morning, he was great. He peed a tiny bit in the litter box. It wasn't a whole lot, but it was enough. And the vet said that he was acting like himself. I think she left it out or something [I can't remember] because he had a full bladder Sunday morning. She couldn't reinsert the third catheter Sunday morning, but was able to get it in Sunday night before she left.
I just want him home and well rested and healthy. I haven't had him for 17 years, but I've had him for 3 years. He's become my rock. My best friend. My sweet baby. For the last three years, I haven't experienced such depression because he was my beacon of light. Now that he's been gone for quite a few days, I'm feeling depressed again. Even worse anxiety than before. Because he's not okay and I feel like it's my fault. No matter how many times someone tells me, "Male cats get UTIs so easily/frequently," it doesn't help because I feel responsible for what happens to him.
I’ve been putting off watching this, I knew what it was about and i already cry just thinking about her. But I’m so glad that she lived a great life with a great family, and an amazing community who loved her so much. Rest in Piece, Jellie ❤️

Once upon a time, i had a grey and white tabby that got me through some years as a disabled person. My kitty, Hayune, died of saddle frombrosis (not sure if that's how it's spelt) in 2020. He was a kitten in 2016 - had an extremely short life, and there was nothing i could do except end his suffering at the vet's suggestion.
I was a new player to minecraft around near a year later when i discovered cats in minecraft. Therein a village, i saw a grey and white kitty that looked so much like the one i lost! I tamed it and brought them home, many times, nicknamed after my boy. I did further digging about cat spawn rates, only to find out this was a Jellie Cat, and that Jellie is the reason i was able to meet my boy again, even just digitally.
I would become an avid watcher of hermitcraft, and mostly you, Scar, around the end of season 8. Both you and jellie brought me comfort and joy even when grief would grab me out of the blue.
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. But Jellie truly is immortal in her digital form, and i hope having that ability to see her again will bring comfort instead of pain, just like i had been brought.
As someone wise once said - grief is simply love with nowhere to go.

Usually when I watch RUclips Videos, my cat Tatl isn't all that interested unless I'm watching a pet grooming video. But today, I think she could hear the sorrow in your voice, Scar, and she watched intently for nearly the whole video, even when Jellie wasn't on screen. So I am sharing her love to you through this comment.
The Jellie Cat in Minecraft has been my favourite due to the similar appearance to a cat I lost far too young. Through her model, I found a small measure of joy.

I remember being so excited for you, and immediately going to login to Minecraft so I could find her. The saddest thing about pets is losing them, after all of the hard times they get us through, and the amazing moments we have with them. Jellie touched the lives and hearts of many, and she will be missed dearly. I think that she would be proud of you for carrying on her legacy in the ways that you did ❤

My husband as a jack Russell x chihuahua and she has helped him since she was a puppy she knows with his pain/ptsd she will snuggle under his chin or always be on his lap. Scar, you are an inspiration. I just started getting into Hermitcraft this past year (have already watched every episode and all the life series) and I love it all. The ingenuity, creativity, comradery, and sheer amount of fun you all have with the games and wars and everything else is heartwarming. I have found a new appreciation and love for building that I never had before due to y'all's videos. It hurts to see a member of the community pass (as Jellie was just as much a Hermit as anyone else), but as you said, she lives on in Minecraft. From all the pictures, clips and comments about Jellie that I've seen throughout the years, Im absolutely sure that Jellie felt the immense love from you and your family. No wonder why she lived an extra 4 years after her kidney failure. Once again, may she rest in peace
