    Dear Phillip,
I'm on a quest for a soft bag (or if I don't find one, a hybrid bag or hard case with bagpack function).
    My requirements are:
    1. The zipper needs to be located in a way so that NO cymbals come anywhere near the zipper with their edges. (This is rare, most zippers are in the middle, but it's a given plus for Mono)
    2. The padding needs to be sewn in or located in such a manner that in a resting/falling position, the cymbal edges actually come to rest ON the padding, not sliding into the small space BESIDES the padding.
This is what went wrong for me when I had my mono bag here (I sent it back after noticing). What good use is a padding if you bag drops from hip height, spins 180° while falling and then crashes onto the padded side, cymbals hitting the ground nearly unprotected by a mere single ply of nylon because they did not rest ON the padding?
Do you know of any soft bag alternatives where both my requirements are given?
Thanks a lot and good review!
    All the best,
    Daniel

Everything is fine, but my question for manufacturer is why hi hat section don't have one divider to separate top from bottom hat?

great review of the bag. but just wanted to let you know, if your cymbals are brass, you need new ones. And if they're bronze, (which they should be if you're a professional drummer,) you should be aware of that.

It’s good to be aware of what your gear is comprised of, agreed! And, good catch. It’s quite common, however, for a drummer’s cymbals to casually be referred to as “brass.”
