Like the raw video! No make up or cover up the process with the bs to make it look fancy but seems to be impossible. Like how you also slowly explain step by step, thanks dude!
I loved your geriatric Kung Fu tough guy thingy. Also, your safety flip-flops?! You are one of the most sophisticated electronic experimenter out there. Your ESP32 videos are a prime example of what I'm talking about.
Awesome project! I like that - building vehicles! You can buy these motor wheels already ready-made? You're the coolest cappuccino rider around town! I swear! :D (3D printing doesn't work for that? Not sturdy enough those parts I guess?) (looking forward to some 3D printed battery holders!)
Are you still using the scooter? I also got myself a 8 inch hub motor, 2pcs of 5C lipo and the same looking Chinese controller. Is it holding up against the extra voltage?
Awesome videos... I was wondering if you could help me with my e scooter. It is a kickboard T3 by Inmotion. I love it but the battery dies way too quick and the back wheel hub motor is a bit on the cheap side. I wanted to upgrade it and was wondering if you can point me in the right direction. Id really appreciate any help you could provide. I am a novice when it comes to these things though I am a super fast learner.. God bless and hope you and your are safe and healthy.
Are you able to tell what type of signal going from rc receiver ( ch1 or ch2)? Is possible to hook up rc receiver to scooter / bike controller instead of throttle handle?
Could you take the speed controller apart to show us what is inside? It would be a cool to make an open source speed controller, perhaps adding more features. Would regenerative braking be possible with this motor?
How would you make it legal to drive it on a street? In Germany you'd need a "Zulassung bzw Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis" and since it is a "Kleinkraftrad ein Versicherungskennzeichen" or you make it really slow.
Nice job, I want to do the same thing with my scooter, but I don't need a motor, I need to upgrade my suspension only. I have no suspension whatsoever 🛴🤛😠
Brakes? Who need brakes.. Haha wer bremst verliert. Vielen Dank für ein weiteres cooles Video von Dir! You gonna fight for your right to paaaaardy. *smile* LG aus Mainhattan und keep on going..
This kid is the coolest kid in the neighborhood. He got a bad ass scooter with no brakes what u got. A manual scooter , (follows the cool kid pedaling.) Lmao 🤦🏻♂️
I love you build I purchased the motor and speed system from the site you gave me there's no instructions on how to wire it is it possible you can send me something
hey guys can anyone help me i have a volt XT2 scooter with no battery the battery it takes is 12V 8Ah Sealed Lead Acid Battery i have 12V motor 120w i am looking to incresse the speed at least twice over if not to expencaive ££ any help would be good any info needed please ask away
- got inspired by another youtuber to buy TIG welder - hmm, who it might be? This Old Tony probably? - This Old Tony, this is all your fault - YES! **wild dance** I might look for some welding lessons for beginners (if something like that exists), maybe then I'd buy TIG as well :)
Sure, we need to blame TOT for the bad welds and the weather :D probabbly, if you would welded in a more confortable position it would have been better. Looks nice anyway! 👍
A question: let's assume someone builds a e-scooter modifying an existing frame (unpowered or powered) like in the video of bitluni, with power =< 500W and 6km/h=< Speed =< 20km/h. This e-scooter would not require an official registration (Zulassung), just an insurance (Versicherung). Ist it correct? But how the Versicherung can legally be released, from what I quickly see online in an insurance calculator (HUK), it seems you need to provide a verified model of the e-scooter, which I think is of a list approved by the German regulator. Of course it makes sense for the law, otherwise many would put on the road their "custom-out-of-spec" e-scooters. Anyone has any experience? I read that it is technically possible go to the TÜV and get your "custom" e-scooter approved, but I can imagine the cost....
unfourtainly illegal in germany . but nice built. 250W is quite a lot on a bike. on a lightweight scooter its almost too much how will you make that legal? as far as i know, non assisted max speed is like 6kph... a joke or getting a license plate / insurance and all that
Can you teach me how to use this build and modify 4 of these hub motored wheels, 2 each, into downhill roller skis? Yes... I'm that guy.. Downhill ELECTRIC Roller Skis... seriously.. why hasn't anyone already done that?
Connecting? No, it won't explode right away. Using? Yes, kinda. There's the same current passing through each series cell that they all have to source, they output the same charge per unit of time. So whichever one gets flat first, goes into overdischarge and then bad things happen, though given that these aren't soft pouch cells, at most a bit of venting with flame, not an actual full blown fireball. So just don't let it get to this. And when you do, just make sure to be away from combustible stuff, preferably outdoors, and away from eyes and hands. And I mean it's no big deal, you already have a potential fireball in your pocket, so don't panic.
@@SianaGearz "over discharge" is not the prob... after a cell gets discharged to 0, it gets negetive charge while current is still passing due to remaining charge of other cells in series. thats the really problem
this is pretty pointless.... just get a xiaomi m365... 250 euros, air tyres, disk brake, 30 km/h top speed and most of all it is actually designed to be electric
I've got nothing but the utmost respect for your work (the project you made with an ESP32 generating PAL video directly was sheer genius!) but please take some care with using grinders and welders. Wearing flip-flops while you're cutting metal with an angle grinder can go horribly wrong. I want you to be around making cool videos, not in hospital with a missing set of toes.

What an awesome project! For your first time welding that was not too bad.
I am definitely very happy to see another goofy project video from you again. Like the good ole days. 😁
Dude you're nuts.
Driving with this throttle slider, no break and without shoes.
I like it :D
It's surprising just how powerful a little 250w hub motor is! My 2000w outrunner scooter has similar burnouts.... just a little higher top speed. :)
Love the TOT reference.
Great video, Grinder and Paint makes me the welder I ain't.
New life goal: have a shed where I can build my projects barefoot. Imagine that freedom. Awesome!
I love that Flexing... Pure bitluni experience.. Good Build.. Thanks.. for sharing..
Thank you. It was great fun watching this.
He's having fun..thats the awesome part of this build.🙂
i like how the way you got so happy over small success... :D keep it up..
pls secure your tall bottle when you weld ...if it falls on this huge ass pressure regulator, you will see what happens
I know.. that is really sketchy. I have bought some profiles to weld a welding table
@@bitluni Also, smear Bondo on your welds before painting to hide crappy TIG welding.
You’re a maniac! Brakes? Who needs brakes! Just get thicker soled shoes :)
hahaha don't worry without brakes there will be plenty of breaks!
@Unexpected Maker i agree with you xD
Man so many times I remember as a kid when my bike's breaks were getting broken, all I did was to put my shoe in between the back wheel and the frame.
Hahaha Good job bitluni! Nice channel! Kind regards from Spain!

Thank you

To pull off that sunglasses stunt you have to film yourself getting them down and then playback it in reverse!
Cool Man!!!! How much did you spent for parts in USD $? Thank You...

Could one of the front hub motors also be used at the back?
is there an already made scooter you can recommend?
this is a lot of work and sadly... im not smart enough. thanks!

It would be a cool to make an open source speed controller, perhaps adding more features. Would regenerative braking be possible with this motor?
VESC ist the keyword. It's an open source ESC I will share soon since I use it with my 1kW motors. But it's quite expensive since the parts are too
cheap controllers already have regen braking

Excelente Scooter.
Does anyone know where to buy the wheel and what it's called?
Man i have a big problem with conections can you help me ?
Really cool :) thanks
what is the weight of the lipo battery, and in total of the scooter
Thumbs up for blaming ToT! :]
-Safety first - use Slipper when use the Grinder, No brakes ---- haha Nice project
It's fine, these are safety slippers ;)
For real bitluni, how do you break?!
8:33 what a gangster !
With that faulty battery you should check cells, some cables might be lose and that is all
dumb question is this motor a gear or gearless motor. just thinking about doing an ebike conversion but only know of geared regenerative braking.

Nice, i guess 250W is peak usage?
How long lasts the akku with just normal driving?
Don't have a bms right now and font like to draw them low. I'll test the current draw in the part
what are the batterys?

You can get a 4 stroke motor kit for a bicycle for around 138 USD, just saying
Cool!

Grinder and paint makes me the welder I ain't
