@@naturalimmunity3040 i got it up to 48 km/hr. But I think it may be fast by 2 km/hr. I check it on the radars on the side of the roads and I get 45-46.

That was originally an Addmotor bike from back in the day, but it had a unrestricted 750w Bafang geared hub with a 22 amp controller. The battery was only around 12ah from what i remember. I heard they were pretty fast.

So far so good. Box arrived un damaged (shout out to Canpar). Bike was packaged very well. Assembly was hampered by the weight of this huge frame but I can easily look past this as Aostirmotor has upgraded their digital display on the S18 1500w to a color display with surprisingly good resolution. The only "issues" I came across was difficulty shifting into top gear on the 7 speed. I noticed that there was some interference from the factory derailleur guard. I could have bent it out but hell, I wanna live a carefree life and I like to gamble so I removed it. The other issue was a warped rear rotor. Carefree or not, I dont mess with brakes so I hopped down to the local bike shop and they fixed me up in 15 minutes.
18psi in the balloons has given me a top speed of 32mph. Battery range is overestimated at best. Yeah, I'm a bit heavy but cruising on peddle assist 2 gives me about 25 miles of range over relatively flat terrain. I also had about 10 pounds of gear in my saddle bags that didnt help. I expect a slight improvement once front forks are locked and rear shock is adjusted to my weight. Wont be anything to write home about tho.
So yeah, I'd say that the product is pretty consistent based on our experiences. Its damn fun to ride, people ask me tons of questions and some dude on a Heybike ate my dust today. Plus, it's like $400 off right now!

It’s still 750 watt nominal…. 1500 peak. Would be better if it wasn’t direct drive as it lacks bottom end torque for hill climbing. Still a phenomenal value.

how about showing it going up some hills. your review is useless unless you show how it can handle hills. looking at another review that does show it on a hill this bike is surprisingly gutless. its got no torque.. lots of top speed if you're on the flat,, but its a "mountain bike" hello?
i had to return a 750w bike bc it was so gutless on hills, I was looking at this bike thinking that 1500w wazs going to ROCK...but its even more gutless on hills. so like..wtf is the point of having this bike if its not good for trail riding?
A mountain bike? No. Did I say that somewhere in my description? No I didn't. Hub driven bikes make horrible mountain bikes. These bikes are for commuting, traveling over land and hills on a variety of terrain. Not for mountain biking. Which is why I didn't show it doing at mountain biking. As for the review being useless, that's a rude thing to say and you're no longer welcome on the channel.
