you mentioned Espjnal as the 3rd player in your reply. i was being sarcastic. Espy is probably the 26th man on the roster who is the most replaceable player on the team. I like him, but he will not be missed.@@TaraCorcoran
Jays are so lucky to have this guy.If Varsho can fix his hitting they will be perhaps the best in the league.Unfortunately the team leadership sucks and management hasnt got the balls to fix it.Time has run out this off season to move a 20 million per liability,( and after taking the team to arbitration after letting the team down first playoff round)what could they get for him.Just saying its a shame to waste this kind of talent by chaining them to badly flawed leadership.
Great guy and loved having him last year but the jays have too many #9 hitters. They had a weak lineup last year and an even weaker one for this season.
@@stevea2488 agree 100% but they already have a declining Springer and weak hitting Varsho. They shouldn't have Varsho and KK in the lineup everyday. They need a power hitting outfielder. The three outfielders combined last season weren't even an average hitter. You don't win no world series with that lineup
@leam89 agreed, but I'd give Varsho a little more rope for a better season this year at the plate. He changed his batting approach and stance for the last month and a half of the season, and seemed like he found something. He shortened his stroke and had more power. He is a great fielder too. Id say he was pretty embarrassed by his performance last year. I'd give him the first third of season before they cut bait. Imo Vlady had a way worse year at the plate in relation to his potential than Varsho. With his body type and lack of maturity, I'd make him a dh and bring in a power hitting first base man. And we'll see what happens at third. I'm not ready to close the book on Springer, Varsho, KK outfield as starters, but bring in power hitting outfield that can rotate thru the lineup to give days off for starters on a platoon basis.
@@stevea2488 pitching is great but how did that work out for them last season? So far the lineup is pathetic, they've doubled down on defense first and the entire season will depend on Vladdy being an MVP
He batted .265 last year. That’s pretty good considering his career BA is .249. He doesn’t really got a lot of pop in his bat but his defense is incredible
@@scottmoreau5630everyone underperformed like crazy Varsho Vladdy Kirk George underperformed and if we get August early September Schneider Second half Biggio and healthy Janno we could be good it all went wrong last year
That's mean!!!?! He us a great player and still got it!!!!! Better than some dead weight they have and they kniw who they are and so do I. To I long if a list ti list, no pun intended. Keep in mind the jays pay him that amount so if it does notvbother them what are you winning about. Jealous???!!!!!
If Kevin can get a few of the others to use their brains their instincts, maybe we could see a big turnaround in 2024. Welcome back Kevin .
Defense wasn't the problem...
I never said it was.....
You said it, now get to work!????
I hope Bo Bichette and Vladdy and Santiago Espinal are still with Toronto Blue Jay's
especially Espinal. He was such a huge factor for the Jays the past few seasons.
Nope especially Bo Bichette and Vladdy

Shake your head , he had the best numbers for a # 9 hitter in the league, and he's a gold glove center fielder.

Either way, pitching wins the world series, IMO

We love our Keir Bear!!!
Blue jays are going to be a sneaky team next season
As a Jays fan, I highly doubt it. I hope you’re right tho
How so? On paper we have more holes than last year. I hope we are sneaky but just wondering where your assessment is coming from?
They are losing 47hrs and had zero offense last year the only place they are going at this point is 4th or 5th in the ale
Kk had no one interested in him once the Yanks got CF from SD.

He’s returning because no one else wanted him for $10.5 million dollars
Gold Glover and the best #9 hitter in the league. I’d say that’s a fair value. He deserves a raise. Good for him.
He's worth every penny and more. You're high if you think no other team wanted him.
exactly right. plus no one gave him the opportunity to play everyday.
