if you move the safety in between 1 and 2 on the rpo flat formation itll change the blocking assignment...he designed to get the 2nd guy to the sidelines so the slot will go up to the safety and leave the backer and the flat defender might pick it off, break it up or make the tackle unblocked
if you run cover 4 quarters against that rpo play, i’m fairly certain that quarter flats don’t get blocked if they are the pitch key. the only issue i can think of is since it is 4 strong, it cancels match.
