So much fantastic information! Thank you so much! I have a question about some of the places that you said the RV’s couldn’t go. Like Jedediah Smith, we’re their signs that said no RV’s or is it just a space that’s too tight for an average class A or C motorhome? My RV is really small, 9’6” tall and fits into a standard parking space…it’s the same length as a full size pickup truck, really. We’re heading out there in a few days and are just wanting to check into some things before we leave. Thank you again for all the great info 👍🏽👍🏽😊

Hi Brandon, Redwood is unlike many other National Parks in that it doesn't have one or two entrances with visitor centers located within. Instead, the Redwoods are a long narrow strip along that northern coast of California. It goes for miles, sometimes having big stretches of town and other non-park areas. If you are traveling with an RV, you can easily take the Newton Druiry Parkway Bypass just off the 101 and be able to pull over the RV to do some hikes and see the tall trees. To do some of the popular destinations like Stout Grove and Fern Canyon you will need a smaller vehicle. Non of the visitors centers were open but the one we saw by Jedediah did look accessible in an RV. And the visitor center in Crescent City is downtown, so you can access this with an RV as well.
