hey I want to try Witcher 3 wild hunt as everyone always keeps saying is the best game ever but after watching certain gameplays and reviews I saw that its combat is not good(which is the most important part in a game for me). Can anyone let me know if this is true or am I missing something? I just finished ghost of tsushima and its combat was the best, So if witcher 3 has combat half as good I would like to try it.
Depends on what your definition of good combat is. Witcher combat may come across as shallow at the start of the game but expands into a fairly deep set of mechanics when considering the diversity of skill tree options, weapons, armor, enhancements, variety of enemies (it really is no competition here, Witcher 3 has way more depth compared to Ghost of Tsushima). I also recently finished Ghost of Tsushima and overall really liked it (especially the Ronin fights, that really brought the Sekiro-like mechanics up front and center), but for criticism, it did start to get repetitive (akin to assassins creed game loop formula), I never felt this way with the Witcher 3. Geralt’s movements are weighted, you may feel like it is input lag which may make you dislike it as first but I think most people get accustomed to it quickly. He is portrayed as a hero that is faced with making decisions that may not feel very heroic at times. He has exceptional senses, a master of the sword (don’t expect crazy sword abilities though), and basic magic abilities (i.e. not as good as a sorcerer), but he is not a superhero, you wont feel like you are in control of the fight at times, especially if you do not prepare (a fundamental aspect of playing like a witcher is to be prepared before a fight, such as drinking decoctions, oiling your sword, reading/learning about the enemy you are about to fight to determine weaknesses). If you go in thinking there will be boss encounters that play like Sekiro or God of War you may be disappointed, but there are certainly many challenging encounters. Geralt can parry, but it is no where near as satisfying as the Sekiro-like parry system (that Ghost of Tsushima incorporates). Ghost of Tsushima offers much more (pure) sword fight variety though, no question there, given the different sword stances available. Anyways W3 is offered for cheap these days, I consider it a crime not to at least give the game a try, it is absolutely worthy of being regarded as the best game of all time by many (especially when you get to the DLC, and even more so if you read the books but I think most will love the story no matter what).
Bro get the Witcher 3 complete edition I was like you a month ago untill I bought it now I'm almost 200 hours in a playthrough the combat is good. But I don't like or understand gwent the card game.
@@RONYHAZARIKA I've been skipping the card game as much as I can it's hard to understand in my opinion but it's part of quests in game so I'm sure I have to do them.Gameplay is smooth with the next gen update and the story is good too.
@@jamesbarksdale6537 is there crazy levels where u have to constantly think about new armor and new weapons? I like games where I can just find my fav armor and weapons early and just upgrade it by grinding organically.
Metro Series is a classic. Must play for every gamer. Great list by the way.

The episodes between the chapters were too long and boring but it's an unique experience
Quantum break is good. The final boss battle was underwhelming but everything else was fun.

How many lists you gonna shoehorn a telltale or other VN game that the choices mean squat giving one of like 2 endings both with very similar ends?
Uncharted 4
Why play Far cry 3 when you can play Far Cry Blood Dragon ? I wonder.
Personal preference. Remember that.
