Mixed Media Furniture Makeover

This little vintage cupboard makeover started as a bit of an experiment as I’d been wanting to try some mixed media for ages.
Inspired by some fabulous placemats I have I’ve used torn printed paper, leftover transfers, a few stamps, Annie Sloan Chalk Paint & waxes and some Saltwash for texture.
I thoroughly enjoyed this process and I’m totally delighted with the results.

What started out as this grungy cabinet, you transformed into this treasure box! Beautifully designed. Loved that you decoupaged the sides as well. Lots of work went into this transformation, but the end result attests to your talent.

I love everything about this, I want to start collecting papers for this patchwork technique….. it looks like so much fun! I used to do ribbon embroidery and patchwork quilting & this reminds me of those. Thanks for sharing this tutorial, luv ur work💞

The stamps are a combination from Redesign with Prima "Bohemian Dreamer" and Bohemian Dreamer and "Elemental Borders." Beautiful creative design Vonboo. Love the use of so many different mediums in your designs.

No cleaning, scuff sanding or priming? Seriously?

I did clean, but no need to sand or prime with Annie Sloan chalk paint and certainly not with this style
