- Amity University, Noida is a private research university located in Noida, India. The university was established in 2005 by an Act of the State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh. It is recognized by the UGC under Section 22 of UGC Act and accredited by the NAAC with grade 'A+'.[2] [3] The university offers courses on campus and through distance mode, in a number of fields of study at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. Amity University is a part of Amity education group and has campuses worldwide.
Amity University was established on 24 March 2005 through The Amity University Uttar Pradesh Act, 2005 (Act 11 of 2005) of the UP Vidhan Sabha by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation.[4]
It was India's first private university to implement reservations for both faculty as well as students.[5] The school was started in 2003 with an enrollment of 120 students. In 2011, it was reported to have over 80,000 students across 240 programs.[6]
Ashok Chauhan is President of the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, Atul Chauhan the Chancellor of Amity University and the Vice Chancellor is Dr. Balvinder Shukla.[7] Aseem Chauhan is the Additional President of the Foundation.[8]
In September 2015, the university signed a memorandum of understanding with the BSE Institute, a subsidiary of the Bombay Stock Exchange, to commence a 2-year distance learning MBA program in global financial markets, that will be open to students and working professionals.[9][10]
In September 2016, the university inaugurated its New York campus by purchasing 170-acre campus of St. John's University in Oakdale, New York

@@iamkvs I have checked LPU and there is fees of approx 1.20 for BCA HONS, but the problem is here in Amity and all many universities BCA HONS course is of 4 years but in LPU it is of only 3 years. In LPU I have got selected for admission and they are providing me scholarship also of 20000 and also they said If I will give LPUNEST and will come in first round then they will give additional 30% scholarship which costs me total fees of year after all scholarships about 78000 and in Amity it costs for BCA HONS about 100000. Tell me which should I choose.
