    this is what you call teaching, simple and to the point but not forgetting to explain necessary bits and not throwing random things in.

  • @BobTheBob647

    My teacher is a great teacher, but watching the RUclips videos really help. It's some of the little things, like explaining that One's complement form and signed magnitude form suggests 2 that there exists a 0 and a -0. Once I heard that, it all makes more sense as to why people now use two's complement.

    Seriously can't people just be civil. He puts up a video. Takes time out of his schedule to do so, and gets criticized for doing the work on a white board instead of using "utube software" whatever that means??? I think he meant a drawing tablet... Jesus Christ...anyway...thanks for the video!

    • @johnhurley8918
      @johnhurley8918 10 лет назад +1

      I actually like the white board in this case. I think he did a great job all in all.

    Dude this video helped out so much. you saved me like 3 hours of research here. however you maybe should have mentioned that the benefit of twos compliment is that you can have higher numbers. Otherwise it doesn't really seem better than the ones compliment since that method does have one less step. Thanks again though great video!

    I just realized after watching this that in 2's compliment you subtract the digits starting at MSB. So -1 = 111 or 4-2-1 = -1. -2 = 110 or 4-2-0. -3 = 101 or 4-0-1.
