My teacher is a great teacher, but watching the RUclips videos really help. It's some of the little things, like explaining that One's complement form and signed magnitude form suggests 2 that there exists a 0 and a -0. Once I heard that, it all makes more sense as to why people now use two's complement.
Seriously can't people just be civil. He puts up a video. Takes time out of his schedule to do so, and gets criticized for doing the work on a white board instead of using "utube software" whatever that means??? I think he meant a drawing tablet... Jesus Christ...anyway...thanks for the video!
Awesome video. My Digital Systems professor tried to explain this for about an hour, and I barely understood by the end of it. Your explanation was much better. Thank you.
Simple, Easy to understand, and straight to the point. You make my college professor look like an idiot when he attempted to explain this. Thank you for taking the time to make this video, it's helped me immensely!.
OMG! You rock. You need to replace my Computer Architecture prof at UT Dallas. He lectured on this for an hour and I was left scratching my head. I watch your video and I understand. Something is seriously wrong when I'm going to youtube for college. Thank you for your help!!!
Thank you so much for making and posting this video. I am a Computer Science student, and I was really stuck on these subjects - the video helped significantly. Thanks again!
Thank you for a very clear and easy explanation! After reading 50 pages in a book I was left completely clueless on what I had just read. 15 minutes and a little note taking == my home work turned in on time. :)
You are a HERO. This is so succinct and yet explains everything beautifully, unlike my textbook/lecture. I will probably need to watch your decimal conversion vids as well. Thank you for sharing this!
I've re-read my text twice. You included some extra info I didn't get in the text which helped complete my understanding of the topic. Thank you for helping me prepare for my upcoming Intro to Digital Logic class. Salute'
Great video! Thank you very much, I was assigned a couple chapters in a book, but its pretty dense reading material. This is clear and concise and straight to the meat and potatoes! Bravo!
Thanks for the help. I was having some difficulty understanding ones complement in my computer organization class. The textbook examples were not easy to follow. Your video cleared this up pretty quickly. Thank you.
Thanks a lot, im doing IT course been struggling getting my head around this, your video is great. you speak clearly and double up on examples, makes it much easier to follow and understand seeing it done twice. great job hope to see more from you in this field. good teacher.
i have a great teacher, except he is the "inhumanly genius" type, witch means that from time to time, he can't dumb himself down to our level, and doesn't really understand where our doubts lay. thank you for making this accessible regular intelligence people!
Dude this video helped out so much. you saved me like 3 hours of research here. however you maybe should have mentioned that the benefit of twos compliment is that you can have higher numbers. Otherwise it doesn't really seem better than the ones compliment since that method does have one less step. Thanks again though great video!
awesome teaching, man. i hope you keep putting up more videos on digital electronics i could really use your helpful video lessons such as these in the future
I just realized after watching this that in 2's compliment you subtract the digits starting at MSB. So -1 = 111 or 4-2-1 = -1. -2 = 110 or 4-2-0. -3 = 101 or 4-0-1.
I wish you can make some more machine language videos for computer arithmetic. You are very insightful and easy to learn from. This damn book from my class is as worthless as a TIT on a boar hog. I will definitely hit you up once a week for advice. Better then most of these idiots online trying to teach. You explain the reasons "WHY". Kudos Obi Wan. :)
dude, my professor took one whole class trying to explain this and you explained it in 15 mins. Super easy thanks to you!
plz watch my and give your valuable feedback ruclips.net/video/jmndpFHnA5g/видео.html
Dude you crush most professors! 10/10 explanation, understood it instantly.
this is what you call teaching, simple and to the point but not forgetting to explain necessary bits and not throwing random things in.

+andy le my teacher was teaching our class, but using wrong way to present it. in the end all class confuse.

I actually like the white board in this case. I think he did a great job all in all.
Agreed. I actually really love how he did it. It's much more helpful for me.
Some one give this man a medal. My professor is the worst at explaining anything, but this guy made it so understandable.
Thanks you taught me more in 15 minutes than my college proof did in two weeks of class.
