Mystic eyes of death perception can be very useful in our world. To kill illnesses both physical and mental. Kill dark ideologies, etc. Of course it is so powerful it can easily corrupt. Same goes for any eyes that allows control or manipulation over others. I think the eyes of transience is one of the best. Great for a historian or detective but also really useful in combat.
Death Perception is rather limited, but like the fabric of existence. Entities beyond it can overwrite what mortals do. Meaning... Those eyes will fail against entities who exceed dimensions, and I don't mean simple dimensional transit.

The Origin is simply a countermeasure to ensure the eternal existence of all things. The living and humanity, are simply products of the many artifacts created to ensure everything stayed the course into eternities to come. Which is why Death Perception is limited as we scale up in existence. ... What am I saying?... It's better to just keep this in fiction. Honestly, humans won't even make it to the World's End.
Did I say that Ryougi Shiki is my fourth favorite Assassin? I definitely enjoyed her story with Mikiya. Those eyes of hers are extremely powerful, but they came with a heavy burden for her as well as Tohno Shiki.

Hassan for being a good bro in Camelot, sacrificing his life to give us even a slight advantage in Shinjuku and being a damn good Assassin as fits the name. Jack for being a sweet girl (when she’s not killing people), for being kind to Nursery Rhyme, Jeanne Lily and Bunyan, and she’s also a very good Assassin. Charlotte doesn’t let being weak keep her from doing her very best, she does everything she can to resist killing us under Odysseus and she’s generally just very kind and cheerful. I like Shiki because she deeply respects the value of human life, her love for Mikiya and Mana is touching and she’s really good with her mystic eyes. Fifth up is Assassin of Paraiso AKA Mochizuki Chiyome. She’s also very polite, loyal, cute and skilled, not to mention I hated how she was disrespected by Caster of Limbo in Shimōsa, along with the other Blademasters. (Yeah, guess who’s at the bottom of my Caster and Alter Ego list, along with Archimedes from Extella?) Sixth is Mata Hari. She is very hot and pretty, and I am proud to have max ascended her. She also does her best despite her meager abilities and I do want to grant her wish for a happy, loving family. (If you want a fanfiction where she gets one, try Fragments of Chaldea, by Ghostxavier. It’s sadly dead now, but maybe given enough life and support, we can bring it back?) Seventh is the ONLY Assassin on this list who is NOT in FGO, False Assassin from Fate/strange Fake. She is a namelessly Zealot who was a candidate as the last to take the title of Hassan-I-Sabbah, but was pushed aside for Hundred-Faced Hassan. I respect her a lot for her devout faith, and she gets big props for killing a Dead Apostle who is also her Master and tether to the present (too bad he came back). Eighth is Fūma Kotarō. He’s also very loyal to Fujimaru, and very kind and loving to his mother, Danzo. He’s also cute for being a dorky fanboy, a skilled ninja and he helped defeat Caster of Limbo🖕. Ninth is Hassan of Serenity. She is beautiful and endearing, and she’s very devoted to her allies. Plus her Zabaniya is quite powerful, though I wish she could touch more people. Tenth is Lady Kato Danzo herself. Loving mother, devoted ninja, also helped defeat Caster of Limbo 🖕🖕🖕. Plus she’s very interesting as a mechanical doll, and I wonder what it’s like to live in that state. I hope my reasons are to your liking. Next: Avengers 1. Jeanne d’Arc (Alter) I liked the original Holy Maiden, and I like her darker counterpart just as much. While she’s definitely badass and intimidating, and she’s also pretty cute as a tsundere. I do hope those lucky enough to get her make her a very happy woman. 2. Edmond Dantès Our guardian fallen angel. He has been a dear ally through thick and thin. Not to mention those flames of his are quite powerful, and may be effective in snuffing out certain...enemies. 3. Antonio Salieri Mozart’s rival who was shafted by fate. It saddens me that he will forever be linked to the rumors of Mozart being murdered. Perhaps his time in Chaldea will be able to provide a brief respite to his torment. I can only hope so. 4. Demon King Nobunaga The mighty warlord of Japan. Her strength and charisma are impressive. I must admit, Kippoushi is the one I’m most interested in. 5. Space Ishtar Another ancient goddess possessing Rin Tohsaka (that girl is certainly popular). I must admit, some of Ishtar-Astoreth’s lines are very cute, and her abilities are impressive. So this is what a goddess of the Servant Universe is capable of? 6. Kingu He’s not even playable, yet his initial devotion to his mother is commendable, I was genuinely saddened by how callously Tiamat and the Lahmû were in throwing him away, and I greatly enjoyed his interactions with Gilgamesh. Kingu will never replace Enkidu, but hopefully someday he’ll get a story of his own. 7. Gorgon The fallen goddess, the end of the individual known as Medusa. I am sorry to see someone who had been kind and devoted become cruel and bloodthirsty. Even so...Ana never stopped fighting for us until the very end. Thank you, little one. I hope you are able to find peace one day. 8. Angra Mainyu Guess who happens to be the ONLY Avenger I actually have on my team? 🤦 I liked his sacrifice for Bazett, but his combat prowess REALLY sucks. 9. Hessian Lobo I don’t know why these two didn’t catch my attention as much. I like them, but they don’t hold as fond a spot in my heart. 10. Taira no Kagekiyo I’m afraid I know too little about her to get very attached. As I learn more, perjury she will rise higher up the list.

Plus, I like her chemistry with Sieg. 2. Himiko Cute and endearing off the clock, wise and regal when acting as Queen, tough as nails regardless. I was surprised by how quickly I grew to like her. 3. Saint Martha (Swimsuit) What can I say? She’s hot, and she’s pretty scary as a brawler. She’s also a good balance between composed elegance and down to Earth farm girl. 4. Astraea I’m not fond of this version of Luvia’s appearance, but she’s still wise and regal, befitting the goddess of justice. She is also kind towards children, especially three in particular. 5. Sherlock Holmes The great detective. He has been a valued ally during the Lostbelts, he’s pretty good with his Baritsu, and his Noble Phantasm has some very interesting ways it could be used. 6. Quetzalcoatl (Samba/Santa) I don’t know why I don’t really care for her outfit. Perhaps it’s TOO stripperific for my liking. I do appreciate how brave she is, and her real dedication to lucha libre. 7. Artoria Pendragon (Ruler Swimsuit) Another regal, elegant monarch. Afraid I don’t have much else to say. 8. Caren C. Hortensia She’s cute, but her sadism is a bit much, though it can be entertaining. Maybe we’ll one day see her beat up her dad. 9. Amakusa Shirou Tokisada I certainly respect his dedication, and his desire for world peace, but some of his methods are pretty ruthless. And I don’t like how he betrayed us in his interlude. 10. Qin Shi Huang Di He’s rather...odd-looking, and fairly oppressive, but I do respect his power and willingly to concede defeat. Third up: Shielders 1. Mash Kyrielight Was there ever any doubt? I will always be grateful to my sweet Kouhai. I am so glad to be her master. 2. Tachie A tragic girl whose life was stolen away. I hope there will come a chance to save her. 3. Achilles He’s a good guy and really strong as a Rider. I have no reason to believe he’d be any different as a Shielder. 4. Leonidas I I don’t even know if he truly QUALIFIES as a Shielder, but I am very grateful for what he did as a Lancer, and I’d be happy to have him as a coach for Mash. 5. Galahad He’s a jerk. I am disappointed by how much I came to dislike this man after Moonlight/Lostroom. We stopped Goetia from incinerating the Earth, and that gave the Alien God a chance to invade? And that’s apparently OUR fault? We should have just laid down and died? EXCUSE ME?! F*** YOU!!
Ah yes, Mystic eyes, the Fate series version of Dojutsu(Sharingan/Byakugan, etc) lol. I can't be the only one noticing a thing with magic eyes in media. But in all serious watching, this video just bought something. In reference to our favorite Fate OG MC, Shirou Emiya. Now, this may sound like a dumb question, but just to be sure, our boy Shirou definitely doesn't have Mystic eyes right? Right? Or maybe perhaps somewhat similar. This is a reference to how Shirou's eyes seem to be required with his special magic aka Tracing. Or Blade Works. Now before you go and comment and be all like, "Uh well AcTuaLly, you Fate noob that just because his reality marble. And Avalon charging his Origin to swords. etc etc." Yeah, I already know but besides that, his eyes do seem to play a part. That being before he can do the whole Trace On, Trigger off thing. That being actually looks at the weapon he wants to make. That includes what shape it is, what materials it was made from, and its literary history mind you. And he gets all that just from staring at it. It doesn't even have to be in the real world. He made Caliburn from looking at it in a dream, and the same with the Jewel sword. So yeah it's probably not the same but there's at least something similar going on there Shirou. Also, he has really good eyesight.

Most of our corporal language is based on how others see our poses and reactions, hence why in some cultures is rude to not look the other person eyes while talking when in others is the whole opposite. There is where also come from such expressions like giving someone the Evil eye or being petrified by someone's gaze.

If mystic eyes are made through a mutation in a mages magic circutes. Then is it similar to a mutation in a person's genes? if so is it possible to cause a mutation and thus gain a mystic eye. You might bot get the eye you want but it could result in a new and unseen mystic eyes.

First time seeing mystic eyes I thought illya was just using a spell to hold Shirou down. Shikis eyes look the best in design but honestly not affective as it makes life seem like a world of paper. Syvat Jewel eyes are very interesting as she can change them out for Different powers. Medusa snek eyes are cool but honestly I like them on ana more even if it wasn't that long of a scene overall. I hope people don't think fujino has msytic eyes. She is occult based powers.
She kind of is. The Mystic Eyes she uses are the weakest type a mage can use since all mages are trained to resist them and they are not natural eyes, but something developed artificially. It’s like being impressed of Ciel’s eyes. Sure, she can trick humans into believing her words but the illusion can be broken easily enough. And you are correct and incorrect. The Mystic Eyes of Distortion are Mystic Eyes regardless of their being born from her power as an Esper. Let’s not forget Natural Mystic Eyes are all born from the particular characteristics of the possessor of the Eyes. Her psychic powers merely reached such a level that her eyes equaled magecraft. By that point the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception are not even truly “Mystic Eyes”, they are just a very specialized version of the Psychic Pure Eyes.

Nasu litteraly said fujino doesn't have mystic eyes it's more so her own powers that fall into a similar category like in servant cases ex rank skills where they break the rules and can only be category of thier own but just put in one place like gilgamesh being Gilgamesh and only being archer because he threw his swords. Even ccc shows his class is gilgamesh not archer. Another example is fujino goes basically blind and can still use her powers as mystic eyes need to "persceive" what they see to attack as Medusa having snek eyes is not an auto win same as shiki needing to be up close to use them much like fujino and her powers as shiki can see the lines green and red when they fought. Ciel is a whole nother can of worms as it's more so suggestion on top of her powers which came later than fujino so it doesn't matter for her power comparison. Fujino came from a mystic family so she would have her origin of her powers in that much like Kerry being cutting and tieing or Shirou being swords and for another example the priest in case files lost his eyes and couldn't use the sight powers but fujino without vision can still bend things showing its not mystic eyes.
@@ivanbluecool Anyway, my point was that for general explanations Nasu still labels it a Mystic Eye, same as how for story purposes mages treat Yu as a True Ancestor even though she is technically a different being (an elemental born from water). Since this first video deals on the general idea behind Mystic Eyes labeling Fujino’s as one is fine. It is when we go into the details, details which even the novels don’t bother with at times, that this things start “mattering”. Nasu loves to add extra explanations in material books but a good chunk of them are just fluff for fans to salivate over.

Fujino can only be as close to mystic eyes as possible but not actually be them as you see some lose their powers when their eye die and nasu basically makes stuff up as he goes or goes back to explain his stuff just like now with the grands But honestly taking fujinos eyes wouldn't take her power is the point of it not being mystic eyes as they didn't work and she could still bend as knk was more mystery focused than tsukuhime or fsn where rules were Made.

While I do like both characters, when it comes to Mystic Eyes, I definitely prefer Tohno's cause I feel they're much more explored in depth compared to Ryougi's and their inherent drawback makes them much more balanced and comprehendible.
Well Using it so much drive you crazy. Shiki Nanaya only use the final form once when he fought Roa. And most of the time he has to approach the target for the kill. So it was nerfed
I’d rather make my own Mystic Eye called Mystic Eye of Phantasmal Manifestations. Or the Mystic Eye of PM. Essentially it’s akin to Shirou’s Projections only it isn’t restricted to physical matter. It can produce elements, illusions, and astral matter, matching Servant powers like Gilgamesh and even Ishtar at full strength. The downside, it has to be completed in it’s entirety or else it won’t last for a second and shatter like glass. Also extended use without training will cause fatigue and bleeding of the eye.
I have thought of a type of Mystic Eyes for one of my original charaters. It is a very complex Mystic Eye that if it went wrong could very well damage the entire earth

Liveth abilit to swap mythic eyes was an interesting ability, like re-equipping based on need. I like to imagine her family are dwarves, mining gems and then enchanting them.
I'm not sure if you answered this earlier, but how does activating the eyes work in relation to magic circuits? are they the same (i.e. the power and mana is always there and the mage needs to flip the switch)? or is it more like a dimmer, affecting the output level but never shutting it off?
Remember part in detective one.. When melty blood character cast power is category as mystical level even by magi standard. While arcruid life link with moon, shiki still see the death line of moon itself. It par with akina toko red power. In fate extra in moon cell, arcruid easy pass the death match in moon cell so easy. Just one slash. Funny how most stronger mystical eyes at humanity side.It like the eyes power last effort that not fall to immortal side like demigod or all kind monster.

I can imagine calling a certain mystic eyes called "Dead eye." Can dramatically increase the user's reaction by slowing time to 1/10 of normal speed(body can still move and react at greater speed). However, it increases your metabolism the longer you use it. If used too long, it might drive the user in too cannibalism. But, it's just for my skits.
I was working in some character for an RP with my brother and friends. There would be a guy with Mystic Eyes. Mystic Eyes of Decay (Jewel Rank) - Owned by Orphils LeContre Fray (It's a fake name given by the man who bought him, it's more of an insult. A child made of fool's gold, his identity is fake and although he is a prodigy his powerful Mystic Eyes hold him back having to detatch himself from emotions to keep his Mystic Eyes in check but also keeping him from maturing and growing as a mage) - The Mystic Eyes of Decay has the ability to accelerate the oxydation process of anything in his line of sight, making even a teenager become a decrepit rotting corpse in matter of seconds. - Is triggered by emotional reactions, even the most subtle showcase of any emotion will trigger it, so it must be contained by becoming devoid of feelings, which Orphils does by using his ability to manipulate emotions with "colors" by using contact lens with a "gray filter" giving him apathy and deep depression, but after some events which lead him to join Touko and betraying his "family" (which is more of a trafficker syndicate), he would gain Mystic Eyes Killers, which did help him but he still had to keep himself calm and projecting "White" on himself time after time to calm down due to his lack of emotional control due to... never had dealing with them before. - Overusing it cause bleeding and temporary blindness, but using it at full power also blast a black firey wave that cause someone to instantly rot and putrify, he usually call for "Nigredo" before activating it. But by using it he lose his sight for months, being vulnerable if misses the target. He misses once against a mage who was basically a speedster, and other against his "father" who is a Dead Apostle so being immune to his ability. Conclusion: Sucks to be powerfull.
Are we sure all mystic eyes come from a munition in the magic circuits. Shizune Seo, Akira Seo, and Mitsuru Kamekura seem to have some sort of mystic eye despite not being mages. Also do you think that one of the Lehrman jewel mystic eyes could be put in a non mage and still work?
I'd have to go with the eyes of the main character from Canaan. Or make a contract to show the modern world to someone or something in exchange for access to a small portion of their powers and or abilities as a last resort like use the scrap/fragment of power or die situation. Like showing the world from a humans perspective like if they made contact in the dream world followed by a contract based on equivalent exchange or something. Sorry for the long ramble that's probably hard to understand. Basically in a dream you make a contract with a God/Goddess/Demon/Dragon something got bored wanted to see the modern world from a mortal and or otherwise non-magus human perspective in exchange for a fragment of their (the other entities) power/abilities.

The only one that possessed mystic eyes of clairvoyance is Viy. Unlike mystic eyes, clairvoyance can be obtain by training or by applying reinforcement to one eyes.
I don't know why I am writing this here but I had a very weird fanfic idea. Dai-kun/chan reincarnates with his/her memories intact into a type-moon alternate universe that is a combination of tsukihime, mahou tsukai ,fate/zero, stay night and kara no kyokai and we see his/her life in the clocktower as a student alongside waver and later as a professor of mage craft while seeing him/her watch and subtlety influence said events for better while trying to become a powerful mage/magus/spellcaster by using his/her meta knowledge for gaining various artifacts, mystic eyes and powerful mysteries, and at the end of the fic dai manages to reach the Root and gain True Magic and live to tell the tale, then onto the carnival phantasm-ish wholesome slice of life after epilogue chapter. Any thoughts on this idea?
Does are not mystic eyes, clairvoyance is a skill that most talented mages can have, heck most archer class servants naturally trained themselves to develop it or had it naturally. Clairvoyance is really just SUPER VISION with different variety depending on the individual, it’s the same thing really
Mystic Eyes of distortion seem pretty fun 🙂but if I could turn on and off the Mystic eyes of Death perception like Ryougi Shiki does then they would be more powerful but it would suck if it's the Tohno Version (I'd have to wear glasses all the time or I would go insane)
If mage saw eyes with unusual powers from other series for example Dojutsu from Naruto would they first assumption would be that those are Mystic Eyes?

Mangekyou sharingan....probably wins over all the common ones since it's designed as a cheap addition of new and very bullshit power...even if itachi's are badass and rinnegan/it's evolution i forget the name of definetly wins over almost all of them besides Death perception (and probably a few others but lazy) on account of it being bullshit power o'clock because final boss power/11th hour upgrade

Mystic eyes of death perception can be very useful in our world. To kill illnesses both physical and mental. Kill dark ideologies, etc. Of course it is so powerful it can easily corrupt. Same goes for any eyes that allows control or manipulation over others. I think the eyes of transience is one of the best. Great for a historian or detective but also really useful in combat.
Death Perception is rather limited, but like the fabric of existence. Entities beyond it can overwrite what mortals do. Meaning... Those eyes will fail against entities who exceed dimensions, and I don't mean simple dimensional transit.

In regard to Fate... The author probably wanted the Origin to be a singularity for the Nasuverse.
In regard to reality (our real world and beyond)... The Origin is simply a countermeasure to ensure the eternal existence of all things. The living and humanity, are simply products of the many artifacts created to ensure everything stayed the course into eternities to come.
Which is why Death Perception is limited as we scale up in existence.
... What am I saying?... It's better to just keep this in fiction. Honestly, humans won't even make it to the World's End.
Did I say that Ryougi Shiki is my fourth favorite Assassin? I definitely enjoyed her story with Mikiya. Those eyes of hers are extremely powerful, but they came with a heavy burden for her as well as Tohno Shiki.

Hassan for being a good bro in Camelot, sacrificing his life to give us even a slight advantage in Shinjuku and being a damn good Assassin as fits the name.
Jack for being a sweet girl (when she’s not killing people), for being kind to Nursery Rhyme, Jeanne Lily and Bunyan, and she’s also a very good Assassin.
Charlotte doesn’t let being weak keep her from doing her very best, she does everything she can to resist killing us under Odysseus and she’s generally just very kind and cheerful.
I like Shiki because she deeply respects the value of human life, her love for Mikiya and Mana is touching and she’s really good with her mystic eyes.
Fifth up is Assassin of Paraiso AKA Mochizuki Chiyome. She’s also very polite, loyal, cute and skilled, not to mention I hated how she was disrespected by Caster of Limbo in Shimōsa, along with the other Blademasters. (Yeah, guess who’s at the bottom of my Caster and Alter Ego list, along with Archimedes from Extella?)
Sixth is Mata Hari. She is very hot and pretty, and I am proud to have max ascended her. She also does her best despite her meager abilities and I do want to grant her wish for a happy, loving family. (If you want a fanfiction where she gets one, try Fragments of Chaldea, by Ghostxavier. It’s sadly dead now, but maybe given enough life and support, we can bring it back?)
Seventh is the ONLY Assassin on this list who is NOT in FGO, False Assassin from Fate/strange Fake. She is a namelessly Zealot who was a candidate as the last to take the title of Hassan-I-Sabbah, but was pushed aside for Hundred-Faced Hassan. I respect her a lot for her devout faith, and she gets big props for killing a Dead Apostle who is also her Master and tether to the present (too bad he came back).
Eighth is Fūma Kotarō. He’s also very loyal to Fujimaru, and very kind and loving to his mother, Danzo. He’s also cute for being a dorky fanboy, a skilled ninja and he helped defeat Caster of Limbo🖕.
Ninth is Hassan of Serenity. She is beautiful and endearing, and she’s very devoted to her allies. Plus her Zabaniya is quite powerful, though I wish she could touch more people.
Tenth is Lady Kato Danzo herself. Loving mother, devoted ninja, also helped defeat Caster of Limbo 🖕🖕🖕. Plus she’s very interesting as a mechanical doll, and I wonder what it’s like to live in that state.

1. Jeanne d’Arc (Alter)
I liked the original Holy Maiden, and I like her darker counterpart just as much. While she’s definitely badass and intimidating, and she’s also pretty cute as a tsundere. I do hope those lucky enough to get her make her a very happy woman.
2. Edmond Dantès
Our guardian fallen angel. He has been a dear ally through thick and thin. Not to mention those flames of his are quite powerful, and may be effective in snuffing out certain...enemies.
3. Antonio Salieri
Mozart’s rival who was shafted by fate. It saddens me that he will forever be linked to the rumors of Mozart being murdered. Perhaps his time in Chaldea will be able to provide a brief respite to his torment. I can only hope so.
4. Demon King Nobunaga
The mighty warlord of Japan. Her strength and charisma are impressive. I must admit, Kippoushi is the one I’m most interested in.
5. Space Ishtar
Another ancient goddess possessing Rin Tohsaka (that girl is certainly popular). I must admit, some of Ishtar-Astoreth’s lines are very cute, and her abilities are impressive. So this is what a goddess of the Servant Universe is capable of?
6. Kingu
He’s not even playable, yet his initial devotion to his mother is commendable, I was genuinely saddened by how callously Tiamat and the Lahmû were in throwing him away, and I greatly enjoyed his interactions with Gilgamesh. Kingu will never replace Enkidu, but hopefully someday he’ll get a story of his own.
7. Gorgon
The fallen goddess, the end of the individual known as Medusa. I am sorry to see someone who had been kind and devoted become cruel and bloodthirsty. Even so...Ana never stopped fighting for us until the very end. Thank you, little one. I hope you are able to find peace one day.
8. Angra Mainyu
Guess who happens to be the ONLY Avenger I actually have on my team? 🤦
I liked his sacrifice for Bazett, but his combat prowess REALLY sucks.
9. Hessian Lobo
I don’t know why these two didn’t catch my attention as much. I like them, but they don’t hold as fond a spot in my heart.
10. Taira no Kagekiyo
I’m afraid I know too little about her to get very attached. As I learn more, perjury she will rise higher up the list.

Predictable? Perhaps, but she is beloved for a reason. Beautiful, graceful, kind, brave and wise. She epitomizes the traits of a leader. Plus, I like her chemistry with Sieg.
2. Himiko
Cute and endearing off the clock, wise and regal when acting as Queen, tough as nails regardless. I was surprised by how quickly I grew to like her.
3. Saint Martha (Swimsuit)
What can I say? She’s hot, and she’s pretty scary as a brawler. She’s also a good balance between composed elegance and down to Earth farm girl.
4. Astraea
I’m not fond of this version of Luvia’s appearance, but she’s still wise and regal, befitting the goddess of justice. She is also kind towards children, especially three in particular.
5. Sherlock Holmes
The great detective. He has been a valued ally during the Lostbelts, he’s pretty good with his Baritsu, and his Noble Phantasm has some very interesting ways it could be used.
6. Quetzalcoatl (Samba/Santa)
I don’t know why I don’t really care for her outfit. Perhaps it’s TOO stripperific for my liking. I do appreciate how brave she is, and her real dedication to lucha libre.
7. Artoria Pendragon (Ruler Swimsuit)
Another regal, elegant monarch. Afraid I don’t have much else to say.
8. Caren C. Hortensia
She’s cute, but her sadism is a bit much, though it can be entertaining. Maybe we’ll one day see her beat up her dad.
9. Amakusa Shirou Tokisada
I certainly respect his dedication, and his desire for world peace, but some of his methods are pretty ruthless. And I don’t like how he betrayed us in his interlude.
10. Qin Shi Huang Di
He’s rather...odd-looking, and fairly oppressive, but I do respect his power and willingly to concede defeat.

A tragic girl whose life was stolen away. I hope there will come a chance to save her.

He’s a good guy and really strong as a Rider. I have no reason to believe he’d be any different as a Shielder.

I don’t even know if he truly QUALIFIES as a Shielder, but I am very grateful for what he did as a Lancer, and I’d be happy to have him as a coach for Mash.
5. Galahad
He’s a jerk. I am disappointed by how much I came to dislike this man after Moonlight/Lostroom.

Ah yes, Mystic eyes, the Fate series version of Dojutsu(Sharingan/Byakugan, etc) lol. I can't be the only one noticing a thing with magic eyes in media. But in all serious watching, this video just bought something. In reference to our favorite Fate OG MC, Shirou Emiya. Now, this may sound like a dumb question, but just to be sure, our boy Shirou definitely doesn't have Mystic eyes right? Right? Or maybe perhaps somewhat similar. This is a reference to how Shirou's eyes seem to be required with his special magic aka Tracing. Or Blade Works.
Now before you go and comment and be all like, "Uh well AcTuaLly, you Fate noob that just because his reality marble. And Avalon charging his Origin to swords. etc etc." Yeah, I already know but besides that, his eyes do seem to play a part. That being before he can do the whole Trace On, Trigger off thing. That being actually looks at the weapon he wants to make. That includes what shape it is, what materials it was made from, and its literary history mind you. And he gets all that just from staring at it. It doesn't even have to be in the real world. He made Caliburn from looking at it in a dream, and the same with the Jewel sword.
So yeah it's probably not the same but there's at least something similar going on there Shirou. Also, he has really good eyesight.

@@SirFooplesTheThird Not just Japan, the magical eyes imagery is a very old concept since eyesight is one, if not, the most important sense for humans.
Most of our corporal language is based on how others see our poses and reactions, hence why in some cultures is rude to not look the other person eyes while talking when in others is the whole opposite. There is where also come from such expressions like giving someone the Evil eye or being petrified by someone's gaze.

If mystic eyes are made through a mutation in a mages magic circutes. Then is it similar to a mutation in a person's genes? if so is it possible to cause a mutation and thus gain a mystic eye. You might bot get the eye you want but it could result in a new and unseen mystic eyes.

First time seeing mystic eyes I thought illya was just using a spell to hold Shirou down.
Shikis eyes look the best in design but honestly not affective as it makes life seem like a world of paper.
Syvat Jewel eyes are very interesting as she can change them out for Different powers.
Medusa snek eyes are cool but honestly I like them on ana more even if it wasn't that long of a scene overall.

She kind of is. The Mystic Eyes she uses are the weakest type a mage can use since all mages are trained to resist them and they are not natural eyes, but something developed artificially. It’s like being impressed of Ciel’s eyes. Sure, she can trick humans into believing her words but the illusion can be broken easily enough.
And you are correct and incorrect. The Mystic Eyes of Distortion are Mystic Eyes regardless of their being born from her power as an Esper. Let’s not forget Natural Mystic Eyes are all born from the particular characteristics of the possessor of the Eyes. Her psychic powers merely reached such a level that her eyes equaled magecraft. By that point the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception are not even truly “Mystic Eyes”, they are just a very specialized version of the Psychic Pure Eyes.

Nasu litteraly said fujino doesn't have mystic eyes it's more so her own powers that fall into a similar category like in servant cases ex rank skills where they break the rules and can only be category of thier own but just put in one place like gilgamesh being Gilgamesh and only being archer because he threw his swords. Even ccc shows his class is gilgamesh not archer.
Another example is fujino goes basically blind and can still use her powers as mystic eyes need to "persceive" what they see to attack as Medusa having snek eyes is not an auto win same as shiki needing to be up close to use them much like fujino and her powers as shiki can see the lines green and red when they fought.
Ciel is a whole nother can of worms as it's more so suggestion on top of her powers which came later than fujino so it doesn't matter for her power comparison.
Fujino came from a mystic family so she would have her origin of her powers in that much like Kerry being cutting and tieing or Shirou being swords and for another example the priest in case files lost his eyes and couldn't use the sight powers but fujino without vision can still bend things showing its not mystic eyes.
@@ivanbluecool Anyway, my point was that for general explanations Nasu still labels it a Mystic Eye, same as how for story purposes mages treat Yu as a True Ancestor even though she is technically a different being (an elemental born from water).
Since this first video deals on the general idea behind Mystic Eyes labeling Fujino’s as one is fine. It is when we go into the details, details which even the novels don’t bother with at times, that this things start “mattering”. Nasu loves to add extra explanations in material books but a good chunk of them are just fluff for fans to salivate over.

But honestly taking fujinos eyes wouldn't take her power is the point of it not being mystic eyes as they didn't work and she could still bend as knk was more mystery focused than tsukuhime or fsn where rules were Made.

Which version of the MEODP do you prefer? I've always been partial to Tohno's, especially with how the manga visualizes them.
I'm Rougi all day every day. Though Tohno gets death spots too which is apparently very powerful.
While I do like both characters, when it comes to Mystic Eyes, I definitely prefer Tohno's cause I feel they're much more explored in depth compared to Ryougi's and their inherent drawback makes them much more balanced and comprehendible.

Well Using it so much drive you crazy. Shiki Nanaya only use the final form once when he fought Roa. And most of the time he has to approach the target for the kill. So it was nerfed
Assasins(kiritsugu) could beat them using guns, they just need to be really far away
Also, Mystic Eyes of Death Perception slowly weakens and strains the eyes the more u use it. Also it can risk making their brain cells fucking explode

I’d rather make my own Mystic Eye called Mystic Eye of Phantasmal Manifestations. Or the Mystic Eye of PM. Essentially it’s akin to Shirou’s Projections only it isn’t restricted to physical matter. It can produce elements, illusions, and astral matter, matching Servant powers like Gilgamesh and even Ishtar at full strength. The downside, it has to be completed in it’s entirety or else it won’t last for a second and shatter like glass. Also extended use without training will cause fatigue and bleeding of the eye.

Liveth abilit to swap mythic eyes was an interesting ability, like re-equipping based on need. I like to imagine her family are dwarves, mining gems and then enchanting them.
I'm not sure if you answered this earlier, but how does activating the eyes work in relation to magic circuits? are they the same (i.e. the power and mana is always there and the mage needs to flip the switch)? or is it more like a dimmer, affecting the output level but never shutting it off?

I can imagine calling a certain mystic eyes called "Dead eye." Can dramatically increase the user's reaction by slowing time to 1/10 of normal speed(body can still move and react at greater speed). However, it increases your metabolism the longer you use it. If used too long, it might drive the user in too cannibalism. But, it's just for my skits.

I was working in some character for an RP with my brother and friends. There would be a guy with Mystic Eyes.
Mystic Eyes of Decay (Jewel Rank) - Owned by Orphils LeContre Fray (It's a fake name given by the man who bought him, it's more of an insult. A child made of fool's gold, his identity is fake and although he is a prodigy his powerful Mystic Eyes hold him back having to detatch himself from emotions to keep his Mystic Eyes in check but also keeping him from maturing and growing as a mage)
- The Mystic Eyes of Decay has the ability to accelerate the oxydation process of anything in his line of sight, making even a teenager become a decrepit rotting corpse in matter of seconds.
- Is triggered by emotional reactions, even the most subtle showcase of any emotion will trigger it, so it must be contained by becoming devoid of feelings, which Orphils does by using his ability to manipulate emotions with "colors" by using contact lens with a "gray filter" giving him apathy and deep depression, but after some events which lead him to join Touko and betraying his "family" (which is more of a trafficker syndicate), he would gain Mystic Eyes Killers, which did help him but he still had to keep himself calm and projecting "White" on himself time after time to calm down due to his lack of emotional control due to... never had dealing with them before.
- Overusing it cause bleeding and temporary blindness, but using it at full power also blast a black firey wave that cause someone to instantly rot and putrify, he usually call for "Nigredo" before activating it. But by using it he lose his sight for months, being vulnerable if misses the target. He misses once against a mage who was basically a speedster, and other against his "father" who is a Dead Apostle so being immune to his ability.
Conclusion: Sucks to be powerfull.
Are we sure all mystic eyes come from a munition in the magic circuits. Shizune Seo, Akira Seo, and Mitsuru Kamekura seem to have some sort of mystic eye despite not being mages. Also do you think that one of the Lehrman jewel mystic eyes could be put in a non mage and still work?

I'd have to go with the eyes of the main character from Canaan. Or make a contract to show the modern world to someone or something in exchange for access to a small portion of their powers and or abilities as a last resort like use the scrap/fragment of power or die situation. Like showing the world from a humans perspective like if they made contact in the dream world followed by a contract based on equivalent exchange or something. Sorry for the long ramble that's probably hard to understand. they resemble pure eyes more IMO since they reveal things that are unseen with normal vision and are passed down by blood mostly rather than individual mutation but yeah agreed

If i remenber corectly clairvoyance is a dormant ability possessed by the body, it's a psychic ability.
The only one that possessed mystic eyes of clairvoyance is Viy.
Unlike mystic eyes, clairvoyance can be obtain by training or by applying reinforcement to one eyes.

I don't know why I am writing this here but I had a very weird fanfic idea.
Dai-kun/chan reincarnates with his/her memories intact into a type-moon alternate universe that is a combination of tsukihime, mahou tsukai ,fate/zero, stay night and kara no kyokai and we see his/her life in the clocktower as a student alongside waver and later as a professor of mage craft while seeing him/her watch and subtlety influence said events for better while trying to become a powerful mage/magus/spellcaster by using his/her meta knowledge for gaining various artifacts, mystic eyes and powerful mysteries, and at the end of the fic dai manages to reach the Root and gain True Magic and live to tell the tale, then onto the carnival phantasm-ish wholesome slice of life after epilogue chapter.
Any thoughts on this idea?

Does are not mystic eyes, clairvoyance is a skill that most talented mages can have, heck most archer class servants naturally trained themselves to develop it or had it naturally. Clairvoyance is really just SUPER VISION with different variety depending on the individual, it’s the same thing really
Mystic Eyes of distortion seem pretty fun 🙂but if I could turn on and off the Mystic eyes of Death perception like Ryougi Shiki does then they would be more powerful but it would suck if it's the Tohno Version (I'd have to wear glasses all the time or I would go insane)
