Aigooooo these two 🥰 if you watch this kdrama complete episodes you fully understand y they can’t ended up together 💔 but still one of the best historical drama I’ve watched so far
I have to say this is my top 2 of my best saguek drama (first being Dong yi)... I still get goosebumps whenever i hear the soundtrack or anything related to this shows.. I can watch these small small clips again an again but not full bcuz of these two love story as they didnt end up together and it breaks my heart so so much.. I know that they were never supposed to be together from the start but it hurts that they both became lonely till the end.. But still this show is a must-watch if u like korean historical drama or korean drama as a whole cuz it has whole package - action, drama, politics, romance, comedy...
Spoiler Alert!!!! They parted ways. Boon Yi and her clan (with Moo Hyul) went to live on an island. They both left Bang Won because of his brutality and he let them go for he felt guilty. After many years he and his son visited them, Moo Hyul became his son's bodyguard. Boon Yi saw his son before seeing him and since he looked like his father she asked for permission to hug him and after that she met Bang Won. When he met Boon Yi she still had the hairpin but again they parted ways but as friends. The show ended with Boon Yi dying as a old woman still wearing the pin. I don't remember the child with her was her grandchild or just someone from her clan.

@@meo_meow3556 She had very high self respect so when she realised if they get together they can never officially marry (this was before he even became prince he was a noble at that time) she said no to him and even went to his wedding. In the end the only person who brought good out of him was her. He even wanted to force her to marry him but stopped himself because of her.
