@@orsdekany2594 Go with the full DPS build I mentioned in the video. Since he won't be triggering many or even any swirls at all, going with the Atk/Anemo/Crit and 2pc sets will most likely fare better.
I'm getting him the moment his banner goes live. I absolutely love his looks and personality and wanted to have him since the first time I met him in story. The fact that he's one of the strongest characters is just a cherry on top!
As a venti main, the tornado location’s is not as random as you think, it takes a little practice but you can learn to place it where you want. I’m really excited for kazuha 🥺 already got xiphos r3 for him.
@@blackpepper2610 yes but sometimes you don’t notice a enemy close to you out of frame so that’s why it’s best to dash backwards so you see all the enemies before casting his burst so you know exactly where it’s going.

I lost my first ever 50/50 to diluc on kazu's banner but then got those same ones u mentioned above + ( c1 heizou + c1c2c3 xianling) and then got Mona as my first 5star on standard banner. That's all the luck for this year i guess 😅

I think the reason most people consider Fav to be better is because the amount of energy it gives to the entire team is higher than Xiphos. Atleast when Xiphos is at low refinement. So in teams where characters have fairly high energy requirements Fav can outperform
I understand what you mean, but the idea still stands that it wouldn't be as big of a problem with better builds. I know that most genshin players don't have amazing builds which makes Favonius very good for them, but you can't explicitly say it is "better" if its a weapon that scales worse than others with investment. I always look at things from a high investment/endgame perspective, especially in a guide where I have to be more objective with my recommendations about what's better or worse. The god awful Tenten video that perpetuated this idea that Iron Sting is garbage doesn't take this into account, and even his own Kazuha build in the video was crap which proves my point. I don't deny that it's a good option (that's why I put it in the recommendations), but it really is for people who aren't at that high investment level yet. Liking and hearting this comment for visibility.
I think fav sword improves the overall team damage output which is why people recommend it on kazuha, it just increases his support ability by a lot especially when you can prioritize damage over ER on your other team members/DPS so I wouldn’t say that it’s for people with bad artifacts…
@@KeithJamesChuaThis is actually not true. Favonius has more useful stats for Kazuha and his team which makes it objectively better than Iron Sting. Favonius is a low base atk and high secondary stat weapon while having an amazing passive for the team. Favonius reduces the team's energy requirements so that you can focus more on damage. Reducing the team's energy requirement is almost always benefical regardless of the investment you have on your characters. It isn't worth using Iron sting over Favonius weapon for just ~6% more damage bonus buff Though, I agree that Xiphos with refinements is arguably better than favonius if your Kazuha is at hyper investment.

6:12 Also His hold e applies 2 units of Anemo instead of 1 which can be important to get swirl on two elements in certain setups, so there are certainly situations where you use it.
@@blackpepper2610 Infusion is not the same as swirling. You can stand in a Bennett field to get a pyro infusion on the plunge, but if there's still hydro on the enemy before you land, then the pyro will first do a reverse vaporize and the anemo has no pyro aura to swirl. This is important, because Kazuha's A4 and VV both activate on a swirl reaction, NOT on infusion.
@@blackpepper2610 ^As Tony said above, Hold E applies 2U Anemo which removes elements already on an enemy, allowing your infused element on the plunge to swirl a different element. As with the example he gave, if the infused element creates a reaction with another element, it will not count as a swirl since the reaction eats up the elemental gauges and thus as a byproduct not trigger VV/A4. I replied to another comment regarding something similar so my bad for not including it, but the situations are decently niche and relegated to a very select few team comps that really need this strat.

I just pulled him. He’s soo freaking good. My team comp was Raiden, Bennet, Nahida, Layla. Now it’s raiden, kazuha, nahida, Mona. I just rotate them once and all the enemies vanish lmao. I do raiden raiden slash, Mona E, nahida dendro apply and kazuha swril. And I do nahida normal atk like twice and bam no more 😊
Thanks for the guide abd you didn't mentioned that Kazuha can buff several elements with one use of skill and a guide for how to do that and what teams need that trick the most.
You're right about that, but that's a bit more team comp and setup specific hence I didn't include it (I also don't have Childe who's international team demonstrates it the best lol). I DID, however, forget to mention that hold E applies 2U gauge, which is useful for certain team's double swirls, so that's my bad.

Thanks for the guide! I have a 4 piece VV set ready for him with an offslot EM goblet, but the VV is atk%, atk%, anemo dmg bonus. If I understood you correctly, i should still use it even though its not all EM since the VV bonus is so good. EM so hard to get 😪 lol
VV is one of those sets that is kind of important to force the set bonus. But yea try to strongbox for more VV to get EM mainstats since its quite important to his A4. Sucks that EM mainstat has the lowest drop rate tho 😩
@@eliasbouyaghroumni6448 assuming your kazuha is C0, 155% ER is enough in multi target scenarios but definitely too low for single target. Just weigh if your burst uptime is important to your playstyle

I just want to share that i got kazuha by only 13 wishes!! It is crazyyyy. Tbh i dont really have any expectation to get 5 star character since i never spend any money on genshin, and i always farm my primos by treasuring hunting. So im really shock that i got kazuha! And im so happy!! Kazuha is my 5th 5 star after nahida, dehya, qiqi & keqing! Im planning to build him as dps, maybeee, will see hahahaha im still in denial, like ohmgosshh 😭💕😭💕😭💕😭💕

fav is not only for people who havw bad artifacts, altho getting 180% er from artifacts alone is rlly hard and majority of people dont have it, fav is used cuz its also batterying the whole team including him
as a kazuha C2 i have only one question, about how much EM does he need to be optimal? i haave him at r5 xiphos with 950 and when he ults he gets +200 em, should i farm for him to get that 1k em or is it better to spend my resin somewhere else? THANK U u got a new sub ;)
11:53 Alright so to get this straight, VV does not work from off-field, so Kazuha can only proc its passive while he is on the field. Sounds good. Then, *what about his A4 Passive?* Does his A4 elemental buff work when he is off-field? (For example: Used KAzuha Q, then swapped to Xiangling. While Kazuha is still off-field, his Q-ticks will swirl some pyro, so the 8s Buff will get reset every time his Q-ticks occur, until the last tick which will grant a final 8s of Elemental Buff?)
I got kazuha and freedom sworn within 20 pulls after pity reset❤ sometimes mihoyo comes in clutch. My current team consists of Raiden, Yae, Yoimiya, Kazuha. I just hope the 4 of them work well together.
I had him at c2, spent my ten pulls for c3 and got a double to c4 .. at that point I thought why not spend the rest of my primos for c6 which all took about 8 ten pulls ... craziest luck ever, so thanks for video
Lol sorry I feel like I'm gonna be annoying, but since I just got him to C6 recently, I still have many questions..! (Specifically about DPS playstyle) (I already asked this similar question on your other video, and you replied which I appreciate! But I'm still uncertain about which way to go because of the numerous options available). Context: *-Yes, I am guilty of wanting to be a Kazuha GigaChad-* so I'm running him with: -Faruzan -Benny -Mona / Yunjin / Heizou in 4th slot. -->(The reason why I am including Yunjin as a Potential 4th is because I got the LOFI sword from the Weapon Banner). You seem to have a Lot of experience, so in this kind of team, what loadout do you think I should aim for? The pieces I have right now are the usual "standard" DPS build of Atk% / Anemo / Crit, but after watching your video, I'm starting to wonder if I should focus instead on an EM Sands and/or an EM/Atk% Goblet??? (Crit circlet will remain Crit). Benny gives Atk% / Faruzan Gives Anemo% / and Kazuha C6 (with more EM) gives DMG% buff. Whether it is EM/Atk%/Crit, or Atk%/EM/Crit it won't make a difference I guess. Maybe it's worth considering EM/EM/Crit? Or EM/Anemo/Crit? *(Keeping in mind I have LOFI and not Mistsplitter, what would You do?).* Gosh there are so many possibilities lol! But since KazuBoii has been my only Limited Banner Character for the past year, and he is now at C6, I am definitely going to keep grinding his artifacts for a long time lol. *(I hope you don't mind the repetitive questions.. I'm just too excited with C6 right now lol)*
Just to clarify some things first, Bennett does not give Atk%. He gives FLAT atk. Faruzan also gives flat Atk, Anemo shred, and Anemo bonus dmg. At C6 she also grants Anemo Crit Dmg. I really don't recommend Atk/Anemo/Crit for C6 builds, mainly because there are a ton of diminishing returns with that setup in both his DPS and A4 potential. With Lofi, running EM/Atk/Crit, EM/EM/Crit and EM/Anemo/Crit are all fine, it just depends on which part of his kit you prefer to focus on. EM/EM/Crit is likely going to perform the worst in terms of PERSONAL DMG of the bunch in a full team scenario mainly due to diminishing returns, but will be better for his A4 and by nature, the rest of the team's dmg (depending on who you play with ofc) At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter too much, so if it comes down to a few mainstat picks, try to go for better substats as the priority since Kazuha can work with any of the mentioned mainstats anyway.

Got kazuha on his first banner and liked him so much i saved to get him c6 on his second banner only lost 1 50/50 got lucky and he has been my main since first banner (my only c6 5*)
I saved about 90 primogems with 30 pitty for Kazuha. In first 10 pulls i lost 50/50 and got Tighnari, then pull next 10 and get him, so i just stare in screen with disbelief. Spent the rest 70 primos on weapon banner and lost 50/50, tho i got Bennet, so it was very lucky day. Goodluck to all of you!

I like the Toukabou Shigure for the drip. And while it focuses on single target damage. That passive gets put on any enemy that any of your attacks hit while you're on field. So that's extra damage.
@@blastzd you said the Toukabou is only for his personal damage and not swirls. But that's incorrect. It does increase his swirl damage because swirls do damage based off of EM. The Toukabou has the same EM as the Ironsting. But you also get bonus damage with it because of the curse passive put on a single target. This makes it his best F2P option. But it's overall his 2nd best 4☆ sword compared to the Xiphos. Which allows you to have more ER.
Darn... yet another question LOL: (for C6 KazuBoii) My Faruzan is still C0. How valuable do you consider Faruzan's constellations to be? And How would they compare VS a Mistsplitter? I'd like to start saving again to get a Mistsplitter whenever Ayaka reruns, but Faruzan is coming back next patch (3.8). I don't want Wanderer, but I do like the idea of eventually getting a C6 Faruzan to support my DPS Kazuha.
Faruzan's constellations unfortunately kind of make or break the character. Her C2 is needed for perma uptime, and her C6 is REALLY necessary for much lower ER requirements since it can proc her C4. She might not be worth using until you get her to MINIMUM C2 and tbh even then its hard to recommend her too hard because she needs a gazillion ER at C0. Mistsplitter is just a universally OP weapon. Imo, its still the best DPS weapon in the game (there's a reason you see 3 of it in my inventory lol). Between C6 Faruzan and Mistsplitter though, C6 Faruzan is probably more impactful since it skyrockets her utility and makes her ER requirements much lower. Mistsplitter is a nice to have, but PJC Lofi are both good for Kazuha anyway so I wouldn't sweat too hard about it.
Hello! This video is 11 months old and I wanted to ask because there are SO MANY artifact sets now and my question gets super specific. I am wondering what artifact set to wear on my C6 Kazuha when I want to use him as a DPS character (he uses Mistsplitter, I pulled it just for him 🤣). I will probably still carry EM sands if I can for a little bit of hybrid and focus on ATK/Crit beyond that.
Don't really think any of the builds recommended in this video are outdated, so you can just follow it. Kazuha hasn't been changed both for his standard or C6 builds
judging by all that's said, "just have a better build" means "just become lucky or whale out". Which is not a reasonable goal for most players. No disrespect for whales. Just keep in mind that for most players artifacts will be not optimal no matter what. Which means Fav would be a better option then Iron Sting etc
That doesn't really disprove my points though. I did specifically mention Fav is good for people with worse artifacts, which IS true. You cannot call it an objectively better weapon if it scales worse with investment. While I understand that most people playing the game don't have great artifacts, the whole point is that different people have various levels of investment, but once you can hit that high investment level, Fav just isn't better when pushing for damage. From an objective standpoint, I have to look at things from a high-level perspective as a guide maker, which is why I said Iron Sting is better if you are able to reach that level. Its also why I brought up my own F2P account's stats when talking about his ER artifact stats. Its not unreasonable to expect at least some low spenders/F2Ps to invest decently highly in their Kazuhas. I may be a whale on my main account, but the purpose of my F2P account was to show that anyone can reach an equally high investment level given time and knowledge of what to farm for.
I already have tripple em vv set for kazuha I just got both sands and goblet vv em's in single fight in domain. Also I am at 73 pitty but 50/50 I hope I win 50/50 for the first time. Never won since I came back during yelan and hutaos banner
I don't wanna main Kazuha if I don't have the Mistsplitter, c6 Faruzan, Bennett, and Mona, the damage sucks if I don't have them😅. I'll just stick to EM for now it's good for the team and in Coop.
I wonder If Kazuha can make use of his own VV resistance decrease or whether the 40% resistance reduce also applies to his swirl and elemental absorption aside from 60% swirl increase.
1:28 ok idk if this is just me but Albedo A4 gives my Yoimiya and Diluc more damage than a kazuha with 1k EM for his A4 and with VV, or maybe im just playing my Kazuha wrong because I was doing Vaporize teams not mono pyro teams

I've saved 55 pulls for his rerun and I haven't gotten him yet 😭😭😭 I have my guaranteed so I'll just have to grind a lot on his banner and I'll get him tho
They didn't though. Venti's cc is THE MOST POWERFUL CC IN THE GAME. He can solo so many floors. He's a must use for me in floors 9, 10, 11 and most of the time in 12. Kazuha shouldn't be compared to Venti, they have different roles. Kazuha is comparable to Sucrose. Also Venti can refund flat energy which can reduce ER which is equivalent to 50-80 crit value

I do have a question. Im currently returning to the game after a nearly year and a half break. I have guaranteed pity on banner. Should I go for Alhaitham or Kazuha? None of the Dendro units I have are particularly enticing to use (Collei, Kirara, Yao Yao), and the MC feels more like Sub-DPS or Support than a Main DPS. That being said, I skipped Kazuha both the times he ran while I was still playing because there were other characters I wanted more.
From a meta perspective, Kazuha's a much better character than Alhaitham. Alhaitham is very good and imo very fun but he needs much higher investment (in both himself and his teammates) to work well and obviously is limited to Quicken/Quickbloom teams. He also really likes having Nahida, so if you were going to pull a Dendro character you may want to wait for Nahida first since she opens you up to much better Dendro teams. Kazuha is more flexible and definitely the better character than Alhaitham, but the real answer is you should just pull whoever you like more.
@Keith James Chua Well, at first, I didn't care much about Alhaitham's design. He's a little too edgy. But, so far, I've enjoyed his role in the story. But, mostly, I just want to get a decent Dendro unit set up. Idk what's good anymore. Dendro wasn't released when I left, so learning how the Dendro reactions work with explanation videos is making my head hurt lmao Unfortunately, Collei is boring, Kirara is an odd unit. Idk if she's good at all. And Idk what I'd even do with Yao Yao. I use Zhongli on like 99% of my teams, I generally don't need a healer unless I fight wolves.
For sure. You can swirl both elements in electro-charged fairly reliably, and Kazuha's Burst/Skill will be able to do pretty decent EC damage thanks to his huge EM assuming you have very reliable off-field Electro applicators (Beidou alone as the solo electro likely won't be good enough. You'll probably need Fischl too). EC teams are decent enough in AoE scenarios, but fall off greatly in single target, so beware of that
Because it only buffs personal damage. Kazuha's main source of damage in a Support role come from his swirls, which don't scale off anything else other than EM and level. Giving him a tiny bit more bonus damage is effectively useless compared other weapon passives

As long as you back up before casting and know which enemy you’re targeting it’s pretty easy.

You can stand in a Bennett field to get a pyro infusion on the plunge, but if there's still hydro on the enemy before you land, then the pyro will first do a reverse vaporize and the anemo has no pyro aura to swirl.
This is important, because Kazuha's A4 and VV both activate on a swirl reaction, NOT on infusion.

As with the example he gave, if the infused element creates a reaction with another element, it will not count as a swirl since the reaction eats up the elemental gauges and thus as a byproduct not trigger VV/A4. I replied to another comment regarding something similar so my bad for not including it, but the situations are decently niche and relegated to a very select few team comps that really need this strat.
When the Kazuha banner came out, I had no pity on it as I lost my 50/50 on yoimiya but after 6 summons, I got lucky and got him.

Fav's passive ain't just for Kazuha, it lowers the ER requirements of your whole team.
I know, that's why I specifically it's a good team support option.

I just pulled him. He’s soo freaking good. My team comp was Raiden, Bennet, Nahida, Layla. Now it’s raiden, kazuha, nahida, Mona. I just rotate them once and all the enemies vanish lmao. I do raiden raiden slash, Mona E, nahida dendro apply and kazuha swril. And I do nahida normal atk like twice and bam no more 😊
I am proud to say that I am now a Kazuha haver 🎉 Can't wait to use him in every team comp 😅

abd you didn't mentioned that Kazuha can buff several elements with one use of skill and a guide for how to do that and what teams need that trick the most.
You're right about that, but that's a bit more team comp and setup specific hence I didn't include it (I also don't have Childe who's international team demonstrates it the best lol). I DID, however, forget to mention that hold E applies 2U gauge, which is useful for certain team's double swirls, so that's my bad.

Thanks for the guide! I have a 4 piece VV set ready for him with an offslot EM goblet, but the VV is atk%, atk%, anemo dmg bonus. If I understood you correctly, i should still use it even though its not all EM since the VV bonus is so good. EM so hard to get 😪 lol
VV is one of those sets that is kind of important to force the set bonus. But yea try to strongbox for more VV to get EM mainstats since its quite important to his A4. Sucks that EM mainstat has the lowest drop rate tho 😩

950 is enough. More would be nice but you're probably better spending your resin elsewhere

I came here to say that I was BLESSED for the first time in my genshin life by getting two Kazuha in one 10 pulls. He's SO FUN WTF.
11:53 Alright so to get this straight, VV does not work from off-field, so Kazuha can only proc its passive while he is on the field. Sounds good.
Then, *what about his A4 Passive?* Does his A4 elemental buff work when he is off-field? (For example: Used KAzuha Q, then swapped to Xiangling. While Kazuha is still off-field, his Q-ticks will swirl some pyro, so the 8s Buff will get reset every time his Q-ticks occur, until the last tick which will grant a final 8s of Elemental Buff?)
Correct, A4 works off field, but VV does not.
I got kazuha and freedom sworn within 20 pulls after pity reset❤ sometimes mihoyo comes in clutch.
My current team consists of Raiden, Yae, Yoimiya, Kazuha.

Context: *-Yes, I am guilty of wanting to be a Kazuha GigaChad-* so I'm running him with:
-Faruzan
-Benny
-Mona / Yunjin / Heizou in 4th slot.
-->(The reason why I am including Yunjin as a Potential 4th is because I got the LOFI sword from the Weapon Banner).
You seem to have a Lot of experience, so in this kind of team, what loadout do you think I should aim for?
The pieces I have right now are the usual "standard" DPS build of Atk% / Anemo / Crit, but after watching your video, I'm starting to wonder if I should focus instead on an EM Sands and/or an EM/Atk% Goblet??? (Crit circlet will remain Crit).
Benny gives Atk% / Faruzan Gives Anemo% / and Kazuha C6 (with more EM) gives DMG% buff.
Whether it is EM/Atk%/Crit, or Atk%/EM/Crit it won't make a difference I guess. Maybe it's worth considering EM/EM/Crit? Or EM/Anemo/Crit?

Gosh there are so many possibilities lol! But since KazuBoii has been my only Limited Banner Character for the past year, and he is now at C6, I am definitely going to keep grinding his artifacts for a long time lol.

Just to clarify some things first, Bennett does not give Atk%. He gives FLAT atk. Faruzan also gives flat Atk, Anemo shred, and Anemo bonus dmg. At C6 she also grants Anemo Crit Dmg.
I really don't recommend Atk/Anemo/Crit for C6 builds, mainly because there are a ton of diminishing returns with that setup in both his DPS and A4 potential. With Lofi, running EM/Atk/Crit, EM/EM/Crit and EM/Anemo/Crit are all fine, it just depends on which part of his kit you prefer to focus on. EM/EM/Crit is likely going to perform the worst in terms of PERSONAL DMG of the bunch in a full team scenario mainly due to diminishing returns, but will be better for his A4 and by nature, the rest of the team's dmg (depending on who you play with ofc)
At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter too much, so if it comes down to a few mainstat picks, try to go for better substats as the priority since Kazuha can work with any of the mentioned mainstats anyway.

Got kazuha on his first banner and liked him so much i saved to get him c6 on his second banner only lost 1 50/50 got lucky and he has been my main since first banner (my only c6 5*)
I saved about 90 primogems with 30 pitty for Kazuha. In first 10 pulls i lost 50/50 and got Tighnari, then pull next 10 and get him, so i just stare in screen with disbelief.
Spent the rest 70 primos on weapon banner and lost 50/50, tho i got Bennet, so it was very lucky day.

I like the Toukabou Shigure for the drip. And while it focuses on single target damage. That passive gets put on any enemy that any of your attacks hit while you're on field. So that's extra damage.

@@blastzd you said the Toukabou is only for his personal damage and not swirls. But that's incorrect. It does increase his swirl damage because swirls do damage based off of EM. The Toukabou has the same EM as the Ironsting. But you also get bonus damage with it because of the curse passive put on a single target.
This makes it his best F2P option. But it's overall his 2nd best 4☆ sword compared to the Xiphos. Which allows you to have more ER.

My Faruzan is still C0. How valuable do you consider Faruzan's constellations to be? And How would they compare VS a Mistsplitter?
I'd like to start saving again to get a Mistsplitter whenever Ayaka reruns, but Faruzan is coming back next patch (3.8). I don't want Wanderer, but I do like the idea of eventually getting a C6 Faruzan to support my DPS Kazuha.
Faruzan's constellations unfortunately kind of make or break the character. Her C2 is needed for perma uptime, and her C6 is REALLY necessary for much lower ER requirements since it can proc her C4. She might not be worth using until you get her to MINIMUM C2 and tbh even then its hard to recommend her too hard because she needs a gazillion ER at C0.
Mistsplitter is just a universally OP weapon. Imo, its still the best DPS weapon in the game (there's a reason you see 3 of it in my inventory lol). Between C6 Faruzan and Mistsplitter though, C6 Faruzan is probably more impactful since it skyrockets her utility and makes her ER requirements much lower. Mistsplitter is a nice to have, but PJC Lofi are both good for Kazuha anyway so I wouldn't sweat too hard about it.
Hello! This video is 11 months old and I wanted to ask because there are SO MANY artifact sets now and my question gets super specific. I am wondering what artifact set to wear on my C6 Kazuha when I want to use him as a DPS character (he uses Mistsplitter, I pulled it just for him 🤣). I will probably still carry EM sands if I can for a little bit of hybrid and focus on ATK/Crit beyond that.
Don't really think any of the builds recommended in this video are outdated, so you can just follow it. Kazuha hasn't been changed both for his standard or C6 builds
I was after Xiphos' moonlight, but instead i got nelou's 5 star weapon 😢 in previous banner
Layla and Kuki can also use it rn and I'm pretty sure Fontaine will have characters that scale off hp.
judging by all that's said, "just have a better build" means "just become lucky or whale out". Which is not a reasonable goal for most players. No disrespect for whales. Just keep in mind that for most players artifacts will be not optimal no matter what. Which means Fav would be a better option then Iron Sting etc
That doesn't really disprove my points though. I did specifically mention Fav is good for people with worse artifacts, which IS true. You cannot call it an objectively better weapon if it scales worse with investment. While I understand that most people playing the game don't have great artifacts, the whole point is that different people have various levels of investment, but once you can hit that high investment level, Fav just isn't better when pushing for damage. From an objective standpoint, I have to look at things from a high-level perspective as a guide maker, which is why I said Iron Sting is better if you are able to reach that level.
Its also why I brought up my own F2P account's stats when talking about his ER artifact stats. Its not unreasonable to expect at least some low spenders/F2Ps to invest decently highly in their Kazuhas. I may be a whale on my main account, but the purpose of my F2P account was to show that anyone can reach an equally high investment level given time and knowledge of what to farm for.

Well venti was a very early released character, and sadly MHY rarely buffs characters after release :/
They didn't though. Venti's cc is THE MOST POWERFUL CC IN THE GAME. He can solo so many floors. He's a must use for me in floors 9, 10, 11 and most of the time in 12.
Kazuha shouldn't be compared to Venti, they have different roles. Kazuha is comparable to Sucrose.
Also Venti can refund flat energy which can reduce ER which is equivalent to 50-80 crit value

I do have a question. Im currently returning to the game after a nearly year and a half break. I have guaranteed pity on banner. Should I go for Alhaitham or Kazuha? None of the Dendro units I have are particularly enticing to use (Collei, Kirara, Yao Yao), and the MC feels more like Sub-DPS or Support than a Main DPS. That being said, I skipped Kazuha both the times he ran while I was still playing because there were other characters I wanted more.
From a meta perspective, Kazuha's a much better character than Alhaitham. Alhaitham is very good and imo very fun but he needs much higher investment (in both himself and his teammates) to work well and obviously is limited to Quicken/Quickbloom teams. He also really likes having Nahida, so if you were going to pull a Dendro character you may want to wait for Nahida first since she opens you up to much better Dendro teams. Kazuha is more flexible and definitely the better character than Alhaitham, but the real answer is you should just pull whoever you like more.
@Keith James Chua Well, at first, I didn't care much about Alhaitham's design. He's a little too edgy. But, so far, I've enjoyed his role in the story.
But, mostly, I just want to get a decent Dendro unit set up. Idk what's good anymore. Dendro wasn't released when I left, so learning how the Dendro reactions work with explanation videos is making my head hurt lmao
Unfortunately, Collei is boring, Kirara is an odd unit. Idk if she's good at all. And Idk what I'd even do with Yao Yao. I use Zhongli on like 99% of my teams, I generally don't need a healer unless I fight wolves.

For sure. You can swirl both elements in electro-charged fairly reliably, and Kazuha's Burst/Skill will be able to do pretty decent EC damage thanks to his huge EM assuming you have very reliable off-field Electro applicators (Beidou alone as the solo electro likely won't be good enough. You'll probably need Fischl too). EC teams are decent enough in AoE scenarios, but fall off greatly in single target, so beware of that

Because it only buffs personal damage. Kazuha's main source of damage in a Support role come from his swirls, which don't scale off anything else other than EM and level. Giving him a tiny bit more bonus damage is effectively useless compared other weapon passives
