been using this toolkit since 2015. its actually best tool to customise and slim down windows. thing is that different people neeed different things in their os, you have to careful what you're removing from iso. is after you installed windows something doesn't work it means you have removed something you shouldn't

I looked over this. I can see it helpful for gamers. I can see it helpful if you set up many machines and want less to uninstall.
I was actually hoping that this would eliminate the installation of Microsoft office 365. Maybe one of the components does it was worded a little different. If it does that I will use it and stop news, clip champ, and some other apps I don't use from installing.

How to fix the error "The selected source image build does not support custom component removal" ?
Hello when i attempt to add source from DVD folder thay showed me that there is no file supported so i locked on the onternet for the solution i had to convert to win format but after doing that when choosing sourve from DVD Folder the window automatically close
Same happens to me
delete all files from DVD and ISO folder , then restart PC and try again

I used this tool to customize a windows 10 iso and after installing windows, found the search icon or box in task bar not working anymore, can't fix it, anybody got this same problem ?
Great video turorial. I more or less followed the same steps and crafted my own lite version of Windows Iot x64 22H2. Everthing is working perfect except the only issue I am facing is that after installation I am unable to add "Device Lockdown" feature from the "Turn Windows features on and off" menu. The error says could not find the required files. Although I didn't exclude the "Device Lockdown" components when trimming thru MSMG toolkit.
Is is due to some dependency of the feature which I didn't knew or what? Please advise.
Evidently you removed some component or app that it depends on. Go through your component list and learn what they are dependent on. You must be very careful of what components/ apps you remove.
I need help, what did I remove from MSMG Tool? when i made my custom ISO with this, and I install windows,after installation I can't see my other HDD, just my main SSD where I installed the system.. What did I remove? what controlls this component?
this might be late to answer but you have to format the storage device, go to disk management right click the volume (the black bar) and press "new simple volume" and then just speedrun through that by pressing the next button (you can also rename the partition if you want to)

it extracts to .esd and then complains i need to use 1 & then 5.
but doing so crashes the damn program
so does 1-6 btw
Dunna if you still care, but you can use a tool called DISM++ to convert from esd to wim, it's found in the Toolkit tab of the program (ESD/WIM Conversion)
