Over the years, I've learned to pack clothes that I can combine with other pieces I'm bringing. The silk pale-yellow top looked perfect with the pants and comfy sandals. I pack things that I can wear more than once to avoid overpacking. One thing you are missing, I think, is a light summer sweater or a jacket. A/C can be really uncomfortable sometimes. Have fun!
Good decision to not pack those heels - I’ve made that mistake before when packing for nyc. I love that red purse, but you’ll really want a cross body purse in nyc - much easier to keep track of. I always pack a canvas tote bag, too. It just always seems like you have to carry more stuff with you when you’re there.
I can adjust the straps so they are a little longer and then just wear it as a tighter crossbody. Maybe I’ll do that! Good idea on the tote bag I think I have one that is thin and can go in the red purse and I’ll pull it out if needed hmmmm.
