They had a very thick rope and had it up around the entire pitch and anyways if we invaded the pitch we wouldn’t have got the lap of honour they would have all been escorted to the tunnel

I like Jesse Lingard, He's been very honest on mental health issues and he has my respect for that. Yes, it's a shame he's been injured a lot or not fitted into the Coaches plans, but I'm sure he's been a great motivator in the dressing room.
So so sorry to see Lingard go. It might not have worked out for him on the pitch, but what he was lacking this season he certainly made up for in the dressing room. An infectious guy filled with positivity, regardless of what the press say, the guys in the dressing room love him. Whatever the future holds I wish him all the very best.

Jesse doesn't get nearly enough credit for his role this season, in my opinion. I know he has bee injured for a fair stretch, but I feel as though he played way better than he gets credit for when he was fit. More importantly for me, from the word go,he treated the club with respect, and has always been a team player. Not all 'marquee signings' do that. Big love, Jesse.
