I don't know if anything will ever be as creative as the slideshow hack submitted to this comp but I absolutely put it in an unreal tier of its own so yeah this is the most creative one that was reasonably expected

I found it and the house is still in progress. Once its finished i read each book pack (you get over 10 when you spawn and find 3 in the ground and you need to get instead of spawning in the inventory). I wish slide kicks would change your momentum. I feel like it would still be balanced since it would reverse your momentum for more than a second, meaning you could just as easily slide off the other end of the platform when trying to save yourself.

That peach voice acting at the start was not something I expected to hear, it caught me off guard. No idea who recorded that but that was very close to the original style, awkward and to the point.
