    I would have said the Jazzmaster too - in that finish it looks and sounds great.

    Hey Kyle! Good choice. I bought the Affinity Jazzmaster in Burgundy Mist last year, and I really enjoy it. That it was a less fussy Jazzmaster than the Classic Vibe 60s Jazzmaster seemed like a good place to start. I love the way it sits on my lap, it’s large size, and it’s neck. I did put a set of Hipshot locking tuners on it, and I play it a lot. I love it so much, I bought a 3 Tone Sunburst Classic Vibe 60s Jazzmaster from Sweetwater for $305 during the big Labor Day sale. I love it, too, but it is more fiddly than the Affinity. I’m taking the Affinity to the school where I work once I get a place to store it worked out. It will be fun for the occasional after school jam, and my wife won’t need to know that I have two Jazzmasters.😂

      😂 that’s the hard part! I’d like to try the CV version, I’ll look for one next time I’m at Guitar Center. They had one of the J Mascis models for awhile that I played a few times, it was pretty cool. Take it easy!

    I have the Jazzmaster in Lake Placid Blue. I gotta say it sounds sweet. It was playable right out of the box

    I was watching your other Jazzmaster video earlier today. I think I had narrowed down my choice to the Squier Affinity Deluxe Telecaster or the Affinity Jazzmaster. They all sound like great guitars but I think I'm partial to that Jazzmaster too. Looks really versatile and should be excellent for classic Rock, rockabilly, country, and surf music. Really helpful to see all 4 of these compared to each other so thanks.

      Glad to help and thanks for watching! The Tele Deluxe is fun too but I prefer the way the pickups sound on the Jazzmaster. It’s great for all those genres you mentioned, especially surf!

    Thanks from Germany for this test! I have the same opinion about the newaffinity series! I do not like the old ones, always something wrong(Pus, Saddle width, neck, ….). The actual series is imho unbeliveable. If i had to choose one model(like you did) it would be the Tele because of the bridge Pickup. It sounds warm and fat like a Humbucker. Never heard such a good Tele Bridge Pu!

      Thanks! I told my friend that bought the Tele, making this video made me realize how good that bridge pickup is and now I want another one haha. Thanks for watching!

    Happy Halloween, you know what effects are popular on Halloween?, smoke and lights !. Yep, I really miss those smoke and lights, just kidding. You make me want to get that Telecaster again but I've been pretty good regarding my gear addiction lately. Never owned a Jazzmaster though and I really don't know why, for some unknown reason, the guitar never appealed to me just like the Gibson/Epiphone SGs they are great guitars but I never cared to own one. Well, like the saying goes "to each his own". It's getting to a point where the new Affinity, Classic Vibes and Player series are so close in sound that the hundreds of dollars more one needs to spend to get to the next tier is getting harder to justify. Liked the use of the Avengers in your presentation .

      Haha I couldn’t help myself when I thought of the affinity war pun. I totally should have used the smoke machine too. I have it setup outside for Halloween so it was right there. I need to always ask myself, will smoke make this video better? 😂 I’m with you on the tele and SGs. Playing that tele again has me shopping for a new one, and I sold all of my SGs because I couldn’t get the feel for them. I’d like to try one more time I think.

    Happy Halloween Kyle! Another awesome video! Please if you can review a shred Strat like a Kramer or Jackson for comparison to the Fender style

      Happy Halloween! Thanks! I was talking about Jackson and Charvel with a buddy this weekend, I’d like to try them out. I tried a couple of Kramers at the guitar store and I liked those too. I’ll see if can pick something up.

    Cool review! Speaking strictly for me I'd suffer the big headstock and get the strat. Nothing wrong with the others, I just prefer strat ergos over the others. Not a fan of those big Fender headstocks but what's a poor boy to do? 👻

    • @onemoreguitarchannel
      @onemoreguitarchannel  Год назад

      Thanks! I love the way a strat feels too. The big headstocks are take it or leave it for me. It’s something different but it doesn’t look quiet right either. I think the SSS strat has the normal headstock.
