I'm actually looking at a deep V fiberglass boat, but this all ties in the same. You would think they would have their BEST people doing warranty work, to make it right for a customer that needs A++++ service, but clearly not. Sorry for your struggles brother, unfortunately it happens almost everywhere. And with the way the world evolves, you better believe theres less and less people who care or have the skills and patience to do things right every time. Smart man!! I do too man, people are starting to call to go fishing. I got the trim issue figured out; it's a short in the wiring harness on the boat side. It's a nightmare to try to track down. Most likely someone being careless and running a screw into the harness. Just saying F it today, stripping my brand new boat down again and running dedicated wires for the trim.

I'm picking up a 2022 avx2080. I'm installing and wiring up my own electronics to my own fuse block. Im a pro at rigging up my boats. Sorry to here your issues. I have a ranger z20 so I will have 2 boat boats. Ranger for my back up. If I have problems with the vexus avx2080 they will not like me lol. Every boat company may have there issues. I had tracker marine ranger now the vexus. I will get my vexus setup right. I'm confident I won't have an issue with my vexus especially when I'm rigging the electronics myself. I have an awesome dealer I purchased the vexus from. I hear other that are happy with there vexus. I had some electrical issues with my ranger and fixed the problem and it works great. Just saying every boat may have there problems. Tight lines
Well! It happened! Cracked hull at the transom right were the outer bunk sits. cracked the hull and the bunk dented in the hull. Sent it back to the factory and they welded up the crack and left the dent. unbelievable! Now waiting to see what Vexus will do to repair the dent.
This really burns my ass when I see a hard-working, men or women who purchase bass boats, especially an aluminum boat the cheapest manufacturing method. You need to hold Management and your QC department’s accountable. Bottom line it’s 2023. We have the technology and products available to produce some fantastic products to our customers.
Well I just watched your video and I am really disappointed to hear what happened with your Vexus. My 1980 is at Vexus now for a hull replacement and I am supposed to get it back in the next 2 weeks. Really hoping I don't have these issues with mine! I requested they upgrade the wiring harness and wire directly to my cranking battery. Hoping this will help with the issues I have had with my humminbird solix graphs. Like you I've sent mine back 3 times now due to a networking issues. I feel for your frustration!
Dude it's unbelievable the amount of people I've talked to that have had hulls replaced. Hopefully they do yours right. I still had tools in my boat when I got it back...
Sorry you had such a tough time I get made a move from 16’ deep v aluminum/40 Evinrude to a 2012 Xpress H20 side console/200 SHO WITH 68.7 hours for 20k. Big learning curve
I was curious about vexus but then it was between avid and Xpress. Liked the fit and finish of the avid along with the bow shaped of avid but the Xpress hyper lift hull won. Had 4 different quotes on x21 and God dropped the 2012 H20 Xpress with super low hours 200 sho in my lap. God is good

Sorry to hear about all the issues with your boat! I've had the jack-plate break on mine but I'm not replacing it (Not Triton's fault, though). Last July I got a stress crack in my hull (not in the welds) but to be honest, I'm scared to send it back, because who knows when I'll get it back. I don't think Triton will have the same turnaround time as Vexus, and my dealer doesn't seem to think so either! Luckily, I probably only get about a gallon of water in it per trip (so far). Other than that I really like my boat and haven't had any other issues. I just hope that crack doesn't get any bigger, LOL!

Fortunately, the hull warranty on my boat is lifetime to the original purchaser (I am). I do plan on getting it fixed, but I'm going to try to make it through the summer before that happens. The crack happened last July and it hasn't grown any since. I just need it to stay that way for the next 5-6 months...

Call Andy at team marine service in Lacrosse, WI. They are Suzuki experts. Your issue is the prop. Suzuki is a great reliable motor, but they suck at propping. You probably need a Solas Scorpion prop with a higher pitch than you would think for your motor size. I have a Vexus ADX 190 and they shipped the boat with a Suzuki prop, it was shit. I have two props that work great now, a Scorpion 3 blade 23 with vent holes and a Mercury Bravo 4 blade prop. 15 1/4 in 26 pitch
Thanks for the advice! I have delt with Andy a few times, jam up guy. My problems are not just prop related though. I went through tons of props in the beginning. The main problem is this mickey mouse boat wouldn't pass USCG inspection for a 150 hp, which is what it needs. I also have 2 props that I change when needed, which is annoying af.
How many hours do you have on yours? It's not a dealer thing, dealer has nothing to do with it. Not to mention there is not one any where near me. Brand new replacement boat and STILL have numerous issues. So it's the dealers fault there is a short in the wiring harness in my trim system? No. That is Vexus fault.
Can you tell me who was your dealer , if you are in FL.. I am purchasing a 1980 with 150 merc. I hope your issues get corrected, and you enjoy the boat.
Different step boxes and compartments have raised lips. I have noticed my cockpit being about 1.5 inch smaller also... Not sure about the bottom of the boat. Doesn't handle any better, still falls off pad in sharp turns at 30 mph.
I just want an aluminum hull bass boat that looks like a fiberglass one and has an actual high performance hull. I was hoping vexus would be able to do that but it’s starting not to sound like it.
They have the hull shape that people say is skippy though. The pad hull design or a tunnel hull would be more of what I mean by “high performance” beyond the welds simply holding together. I was also looking at gator boats inboard jet bass boat, but not necessarily for the hull shape in that case.

update. The repaired area cracked again. Vexus is now replacing the hull.

I have a Nitro Z series. My pump never turns on.

I have a 2021 1880 identical to yours. Mercury 115 and Garmin electronics. I have had 0 issues.
